Abortion vs Anti abortion

I will say that I am anti-abortion all the way.
I know today Trump has made certain comments regarding abortion and I must say that I am against abortion.
I will say that a life is precious and should not be terminated even if it is in the womb of a lady.
I watched the movie "Grandma" recently and that movie showed a case where a grandma takes her grand daughter for abortion and I was hoping maybe that the abortion never happened.
But in the movie it did and I will say it was sad affair.
Under no circumstances should life be terminated.
In this world several people find very difficult to have a child and they are unable to conceive and that is why there is a booming of IVF and IUI clinics. In situations like this a woman who has conceived how can she even think of terminating the pregnancy.
The fact that she has become pregnant is a God given gift and no man or woman should have the power to remove that life or prevent the life from coming to the world.
I am not that extremist that abortion clinics should be shut down or fire bombed. But they should be discouraged.
Abortion should be prevented at all costs but without the use of violence.
If they are prevented through laws and legislation then the Govt should provide medical care to the mother and the child by preventing the abortion.
That is the right way.
Govt should look after the human lives. Govt. does not live in vacuum. It does not function in vacuum. It has to take care of the lives it is entrusted to protect.

Shaving vs Trimming

Once again I have come to main topic of this blog.
If you look at the initial origin of this blog it was started with this reason only and of course for the reason "last movie watched".
This is a never ending struggle but the points I will outline in bullets as below:
  • A person who shaves completely is as ultimate a man as can be. He has to shave daily to make it worthwhile and might shave even twice a day (if required).
  • A person who does not shave at all is the best. Then what is on offer for him. He can either (1)use a trimmer to keep his beard short, or (2) shave occasionally
  • A person can opt to keep moustache and shave off the beard. In that case he still would need to shave everyday and also needs to keep his moustache trimmed.
  • A person can opt to keep the beard and shave the moustache. I will say this is the worst position one can be in. Why is it the worst? I will outline as below.
A person who shaves his moustache and keeps his beard will find himself in conflict always. The primary source of this conflict will be from the people who are completely clean shaven. He will think that the clean shaven man has done 'his job' of shaving perfectly and not a single hair is left out. Whereas he would have done a minute job where only a portion on top of his lip is shaven daily. And the balance 'hangs around'. In other words his job would not be perfect.
His conflict with the person who keeps the moustache and shaves the beard would be that the moustache guy will think himself to better than the guy who gets rid of the moustache and keeps the beard.
The moustache laden guy will find himself closer to the completely clean shaven guy. The completely clean shaven guy will find more in common with the moustache laden guy then the moustache-less guy with the beard.
Shaving is an act which is violent and should be avoided and even if it is a small portion of upper lip, the act does not become less violent.
Whether one goes all the way with violence and shaves himself completely every day or even with a part shaving the violent act continues.
Best is to avoid the violent act altogether and use trimmer or not shave and trim with scissors.

Bhindi Bazar Inc, Hulla, Inshallah Kashmir

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.
Bhindi Bazar Inc : was watched on Airtel DTH after recording on pendrive
Hulla : was watched on Airtel DTH after recording on pendrive
Inshallah Kashmir : was watched on Netflix. It is actually a documentary and my advise is all Indians should watch it. It shows how brutal the Indian state actually is and we can only pray that no people in the world suffer as much as the Kashmiris do suffer now and for the last two decades and more.

Lahore bombing

I must make it clear that I have been/am totally against all kinds of terrorist activities.
I am also against one set of people imposing their ideologies on another.
I do not like extremists from whichever faith they may be whether Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jew, Shinto, Christian, Parsi or Muslim.
I also do not like how headlines have been splattered around the globe that Christians were targeted in the Park blast.
It is not like only Christians visit parks.
I am 100% sure that 90% of the people killed or injured would be Muslims.
Even in India, you go to park on weekends or any given Sunday you will find the crowd.
It is not like only on Easter Sunday does the crowd happen and they go to parks. The crowd would have been there whether it was Easter or not.
Agreed that if a church was targetted you could have said that Christians were targetted but you cannot say that Chistians were targetted when a Public Park was targetted.
People who publish or write such kind of articles are enemies of humanity and I would say are worse than the terrorists because their intention is not genuine and by their act they intend to isolate and alienate communities and justify ethnic segregation and ethnic cleansing.
Shame on these people.
As for me, I would like to say once more. Why is God keeping me alive to witness such atrocities on innocent people.
I am no part of this and do not like this kind of news. It makes me upset and sad.

India Australia Match IPL Connection

Once again we saw a match where a T20 tournament named IPL is dictating the shots of an international tournament like World T20.
If you look at the scorecard of Australia we find that two big batsmen score as below
DA Warner     st †Dhoni b Ashwin     6
SPD Smith*     c †Dhoni b Yuvraj Singh     2
What is the meaning of this?
Two big batsmen like Warner and Smith get out so cheaply.
It is obvious that there were having the lucrative IPL contracts in mind.
Warner and Smith are both captains in the Indian Premier League.
Obviously they will not jeoparidise their IPL careers for that winning knock in World T20.
They have their future with the Indian nation and IPL in mind.
And so they played lose shots and got out and got Indian blessings.
If they had not played the lose shots they could have verily gone ahead and posted 180-200 plus scores.
It is all fixed.
I will reiterate, India has got nothing to be proud about its performance in World T20.

Rocky Handsome

Watched this movie on the big screen and I liked it. Definitely okay for a one time watch.

Kapoor and Sons, Grandma

Watched two more movies as mentioned in the subject line.
Kapoor and Sons was watched on the big screen, i.e. the cinema theater. Movie is okay for a one time watch.
Grandma is being watched on Tata Sky Showcase HD Channel. Okay movie but plenty of silences and blips and the dialogues are heavily censored on Tata Sky. In that sense the Netflix and downloading movies and watching is preferable as we get the see the movies "the way the director intended for views to see it" in other words no censorship.

I support Sanders for US President

Now that Rubio has withdrawn from US Presidential race, my backing is fully for Democrats and Sanders.
I just got to listen what Sanders had to say on CNN on 21-March-2016 where CNN got in the last five candidates.
I feel Sanders is very good and will be able to defeat Trump.
Hillary is an embarassment and I feel very bad to listen to her speeches and will feel bad and revulsion forever. She is an embarassment much like now Obama a black man as President is an embarassment for entire America. I will say it is a matter of Shame on America for making Obama as President.
It just shows how Jews dominate the American scene and can make any looney person as their President.
The criteria of becoming President is that you have to sniff the Jew asses and lick their feet.

The problem with Trump is a vast different sets of people don't like him.
Nobody would want a person who is "shooting at all places" to be President.
But let me reiterate what I had said earlier.
Rubio and Ted Cruz were of same age around 45. But how come Rubio looks 35 while Cruz looks 55. Rubio looks young for his age while ted Cruz looks older. Who would you prefer?
Trump and Kasich look their age which is 60 plus.
Bernie also looks his age which is 70 plus.
But my final point is once Rubio is out of race, now I support Sanders.
But whichever candidate wins please don't lose your humanity.
Ted Cruz looks like an Israeli poodle. In fact the best candidates are Kasich and Sanders.
Kasich for Republicans and Sanders for Democrats.
But Kasich becoming nominee looks unlikely with Trump extending his lead again and again.
But Sanders can become Democrat nominee. And Sanders will be better than Hillary as President. Definitely won't be an embarassment to all and sundry.

Club Mahindra Jaisalmer Day 6 and 7

My final two days were as under.
Day 6: March 19, 2016
Day 6 happened to be checkout day. Though initially the Tao Experiences guy had told to keep the vehicle for local sightseeing and the drop at station we decided not to go for any sightseeing on the last day.
We asked for drop to station and as late as possible.
While check in on our arrival was done at 6:30 AM, no such luxury was offered for checkout.
Our train was at 7:20 PM and they asked us to leave the room by 12 Noon. Officially the check in time is 2 PM and check-out time is 10 AM.
They further asked us to settle the bill by 10:30 AM so that system will show that we had checked out.
So we had breakfast in room and settled both the bills, i.e. Club Mahindra bill for food and Tao Experiences bill for Travel and Taxi and then left the room by 11:30 AM and taxi dropped us at station by 12:30 PM. We sat for a bit at Jaisalmer station waiting room and then decided to take a room for a few hours till 5 or 6 PM and that we did. On the way several autos and taxis hounded us for 'local sightseeing' but we politely declined them. The hotel guy took Rs 500 and gave us a room for rest and we had lunch on the same building roof top.
The architecture is Jaisalmer (and Jodhpur also) is unique in the sense that a similar kind of stone and pattern is used in construction which gives a unique look to the sights and buildings.
Also the sandstone type rock used in Jaisalmer is not only visually very appealing but also gives a "cooling effect". While outside it may be 45 degrees, inside it feels like 30 degrees. Such is the wonderful effect.
Then at 5:30 PM we left the hotel and waited at station for the train which had already reached Jaisalmer. (It is a weekly express). Then at 07:20 PM the train left and we along with. The magical Golden fort looming over the town it was too good an experience. The day before we had seen from top of the fort the view of the station which was clearly visible.
Next inside train which was very much full of military personnel who were returning after a successful participation in Operation Iron Fist 2016 which was held on the previous day.
In a Junction after Jaisalmer few people from one family got up and they were too active and kept a "running commentary" on because on that day March 19, 2016, India-Pakistan match in World T20 was being held. They were pacified only when India won the match.
Day 7-March 20, 2016
By morning those members from that family had got down at Falna station we were approaching Ahmedabad. People changed. I had "vada pav" and "bread-cutlet" for breakfast. We reached Vadodara subsequently and there a Doctor got on the train with his wife and he also kept the conversation alive. He got down at Vapi and after that it was a short ride to Borivali where we got down and our journey ended.

Journey 2 The Mysterious Island

Watched this movie on Netflix. Liked the movie. Movie is okay for a one time watch.

Airlift, Goosebumps, Hot-Bot

Watched three more movies as mentioned in the subject line.
"Airlift" was watched on Tata Sky Showcase HD Channel. Movie is great. Based on the 1990-91 Gulf War Takeaways from the movie include as below:
  • 15-16 year old boys were being used as soldiers by Saddam.
  • The Kuwaiti leaders exodus upon invasion
  • The "embargo" which was imposed by US and UK (mainly). That made Indian ships to turn around. Guess Saddam did not see that coming. Indians also must not have seen that coming. The embargo was the most humiliating thing to be imposed on Iraq and I believe it was not lifted till 2003 invasion of Iraq. I believe since it was Iraq and all countries surrounding it came together it was successful. US and UK can never ever bully a country like India or China or Pakistan or Iran or Myanmar which are too huge and have too many border crossings. It would be difficult if not impossible to browbeat these countries.
"Goosebumps" was watched on Tata Sky Showcase Channel. It is like "Jumanji" movie. I liked it no matter what everyone feels.
"Hot-Bot" was watched on Netflix. Definitely okay for a one-time watch.

Club Mahindra Jaisalmer Day 5

At Rajasthan Day 5 was March 18, 2016.
On that day we had fixed to go for Jaisalmer City sightseeing. We also added two add-ons to the trip which was Army Museum and Wood fossil park.
On that day PM Modi, President and CM were supposed to arrive in Jaisalmer for an "Areo show" which later we came to know that it was "Iron Fist 2016".
Jaisalmer has an airport though it is not open for civilian aircrafts. Jodhpur has the airport which is open to both civilian and military. Jaisalmer airport is an Air Force airport though our driver told that civilian airport would be open from September. Maybe he heard it from somewhere and maybe it is hope that someday civilian airplanes would operate from there. We must remember that hope keeps people alive in the most difficult of circumstances.
Anyways there was plenty of arrangements for Security of the high profile people arriving like there were bamboo dividers placed on both sides of the road and we were advised to go to Army museum initially.
Army museum is officially known are War Memorial Museum of Jaisalmer is open from 9 AM to 5 PM and all can visit. There was also a documentary shown there and all vehicles were put on display.
After Army Museum we went to Jaisalmer Golden fort and upon advise of the driver we took a guide and he showed us around. Jaisalmer Golden fort is a magical place and once we go through the fort inside and more inside we end up on the roof and we get a very good view of the surroundings. In fact the top of the fort must be the tallest point not only in Jaisalmer but also for 100s of kms I suppose.
But we did not take a camera ticket and so we did not click any pictures.
Then there were three "havelis" which are must visits but we only visited "Salim Singh ki haveli" which was closed for lunch and was to reopen at 4 PM.
Then there was this "Mandir Palace", half of which is a hotel and the other half is the residence of the Jaisalmer king who no longer lives in the fort. About 75% of the fort has been handed to people who are living inside the fort and balance is open for public view the proceeds of which goes to the ex-King.
But since the CM was supposed to arrive, the hotel was closed for public view.
Then we were taken to a handloom showroom and we purchased just a Saree though there was pleny much more on offer.
After that we saw Gadisar Sagar lake and then saw "Vyas Chatris" from outside and it is closed till 4 PM. We reached there much before 4 PM.
Then we returned back to the resort and there we got to see live on DD National Channel the event which was "Iron Fist 2016". Then we went to see the event on Club Mahindra premises which was Live Band. The live band members happened to be Club Mahindra employees who look after Fun Activities at the resort.
On that day we ordered meal at room because we did not want to overload ourselves with food as we were supposed to travel the next day.

India Bangladesh Match @ WT20

This match was yesterday and the main point I want to make is that the match was fixed.
Bangladesh were asked to lose deliberately. Else how can you explain that 2 runs in 3 balls and then 3 wickets fall consecutively.
Indians would have threatened Bangladesh that their players would be banned from IPL (unofficially of course). No one would let them take part in IPL if Bangladesh defeat India.
India is a bully and and mafia type country which can use these threat and intimation tactics.
I will say it will not be surprising if India goes on to win the World Cup.
Everything belongs to India when World Cup is being played in India.
  • The stadiums,
  • The chairs
  • The tables
  • The air players breathe
  • The food players eat
  • The hotels they stay in
  • The buses used for transport
  • Even the stadiums are full of Indians who have paid thousands of rupees for tickets
Thus it is but natural that India will win. And will even use match-fixing as a tool. IPL is a golden pie and everyone wants a piece of it.
Pakistan has been deliberately shut out of it. Now Bangladesh would have been threatened with the same consequences. Thus Bangladesh lost deliberately and it was no "choke" which happened.

Bangladesh Player Banning Conspiracy

I will say India, Australia and New Zealand under the auspices of ICC have conspired to ban two Bangladeshi players from T20 World Cup to weaken them and make the chances of winning for Australia and India more and more.
They were afraid of Bangladesh that Bangladesh will make their way into the final four.
Hence the conspiracy and banning so that they will find it easy to defeat Bangladesh and Bangladesh would be eliminated.
I will say shame on this.
Why could not they do it after World Cup? Why do it when T20 World Cup is in progression?
Why punish Bangladesh for 'playing good' if not exceptionally good.
It is morally reprehensible and deserves condemnation.
Shame on India and Shame on Australia and Shame on ICC. For resorting to such cheap tactics to win the World Cup.
Already Bangladesh were put in tough situation by putting them in a small tournament for qualifying.
In 2011 all teams played all teams and that was 50 overs world cup.
This is 20 overs World Cup. It is not difficult to give all teams a fair chance is it.
Even if it isn't, at least two teams should have been allowed to proceed to play with the Big eight teams.
I will say Indians have got nothing to be proud about.
They are winning through nefarious methods which should not at all be permissible.

Club Mahindra Jaisalmer Day 3 onwards

Went to Club Mahindra Jaisalmer and I carry the story forward.
Day 3: March 16, 2016
Day 3 early morning was Wednesday and we reached Jaisalmer by Jodhpur Jaisalmer express at 6 AM.
Club Mahindra had arranged vehicle for pickup and it was chargeable.
We reached the Club which was a clean 17kms from the City of Jaisalmer. We had the background of the Jaisalmer Golden fort which was lighted with orange light and looked huge and beautiful from distance.
Immediately we were given a room. Even over phone the Executive from Club Mahindra had told that if rooms are vacant he would allott the room immediately.
Initially we were given a Studio room but our booking was for Hotel Unit which we were allotted subsequently.
Then after finishing daily rituals we took a double meal package which included buffet breakfast and dinner.
Then we enquired with Tao Experiences and they are the travel desk people and they suggested we visit two Jain temples, Kuldhara village and desert evening at Sam Sand Dunes.
We did not have lunch due to heavy breakfast and proceeded as suggested.
After excellent Jain temples and abandoned village we reached Sam Sand Dunes and we reached slightly early at 4 PM.
The evening program was ride on a camel to see sunset, desert entertainment and dinner buffet.
But since we were tired we came back immediately after the camel ride and did not stay for sunset and desert dance program. Our dinner buffet was already fixed at resort. On the way we stopped the car and saw the sunset.
Subsequently after little bit of rest we had dinner and retired for the day. Club Mahindra had arranged their own musical program with Rajasthani artists.
Day 4 : March 17, 2016
On this day we had breakfast a-la-carte because we knew we were going to far off place which was as below:
Tanot Mata Ka Mandir, Longewal and Bara bagh.
We visited Tanot mata ka Mandir and another Mandir also fell on the way. These are the places where legend says that during 1971 war Pakistani forces came but due to Mata miracle they destroyed themselves and could not proceed. Tanot Mata Mandir it is said that 3000 bombs fell on the spot but the Mandir was not harmed in anyway.
The Mandir i.e. the Temple is now maintained by BSF which is the Border Security Force of India.
From there we proceeded to Longewal where 120 Indian soldiers defended against 90 tanks and 120 vehicles and 2000 Pakistani soldiers. The film Border was based on that. The Longewal also has museum and audio visual clip is also shown there.
All the way there was desert but not full desert. It seems from Punjab state water flows in the desert on Indira Gandhi Canal (which we had read about in school) and surprisingly the desert is turning green little by little. BSF also plays a part as they plant trees during their part-time.
After Longewal we went back and had lunch on the way at Ramgadh. Lunch was full vegeterian as was expected in a state like Rajasthan.
Then we went to Bara Bagh which was a monument for Jaisalmer kings. There was a local guide there who told that he would tell the full story which would be surprising and shocking at teh same time for Rs200 but we did not pay and came back to Club Mahindra. Evening program at Club Mahindra was DJ night.
A Club Mahindra Executive also briefed us about new clubs being opened . It seems Club Mahindra has acquired a Finland based company which would give access to 40 plus clubs abroad and India also many more clubs are being opened by Club Mahindra. He also explained us in detail about the benefits of RCI membership.
Then we took another two meal buffet package. Here the buffet was non-veg included and thanks for that. Another two days story is there which I will continue in another post.

Trip to Club Mahindra Jaisalmer : Rajasthan

I went to Club Mahindra Jaisalmer of which I am the member. Trip went okay. I will try to outline what happened in the trip.
Day 1 of Trip
Day 1 will happen to be March 14, 2016 when I boarded the train Ranakpur Express at Bandra Terminus. Platform was crowded but got the seat in the train Myself and my wife had got Side Lower and Side Upper berths in 3rd AC compartment.
Day 2 of Trip
March 15, 2016 will happen to be Day 2 when train was approaching Falna and Marwar Junction. Jodhpur was our stoppage and was expected around 10 AM. On the way the train was getting emptier and emptier. The Ranakpur Express last stop was Bikaner and there was a big family with whom we were sharing the coach and they were going all the way. Meanwhile we got down at Jodhpur and the I decided to stay at a hotel near railway station. It was a pretty expensive room for Rs 1000 which we were supposed to vacate at 11 PM (there was not going to be a night stay).
After having bath we came down and we got hold of a taxi driver rather he got hold of us and decided to show us around Jodhpur for Rs 1200 in an AC taxi. Four spots were covered.
  • Umaid Singh Palace: This a hotel cum museum. Worth visiting. Located on hilltop. Very good and nice. View from top is fantastic. The King has also given his land for construction of apartments and villas.
  • Mandaur Garden: This is a very big garden and definitely worth a visit. But due to prescence of monkeys we did not go inside. And monkeys are no ordinary monkeys, they are those 'langoor' monkeys with black face and all. And they leap huge leaps.
  • Jodhpur fort: This a very beautiful fort and definitely should be visited by one and all. This is like a 'Taj Mahal' spot. It should be like included in '1000 places to see before I die'.
  • Jaswant Thada: This is the mausoleum for Jodhpur kings and queens. I suppose this is the place where the last rites of the kings were done.
Then the taxi dropped us back near station at hotel and after some rest we walked around and had some snacks  and then checked out of the hotel at 930 PM. Though after 11PM out checkout was fixed we decided to leave early. We went to station and waited and then went to platform 4 where our train was scheduled at 1145 PM. We left towards Jaisalmer by that train. That will include the next part of the trip which lasted for a further four days. I will continue in another post.

Seeds of hatred

I will say yesterday when Trump said "Islam hates us" he was being too blunt and was sowing what I would call "seeds of hatred".
Hatred will give rise to more Hatred in this world. Hatred is like cancer it grows exponentially. Whereas something good which is being inclusive and logical will grow arithmetically.
Being good is a virtue.
Now when Trump makes a too general statement that "Islam hates us", it would become amply clear that someone who likes "us" or likes Trump will change direction.
Trump is making a too general statement of an ever increasing complex situation. Who are us? Does he realise that us may include Islamic people and culture as well.
No one who is even remotely associated with Islam will like Trump anymore once they get to hear such a statement from him. Thus Trump is "giving rise" to hatred which never was or never existed.

Vegetarian demons

I will say what has happened presently in Delhi where Art of Living has usurped land of Yamuna basin proves that "demons do exist". And these demons can be in the shape of the so called "spiritual gurus". And the demons are vegetarian
It is a myth that those people who eat meat and beef are like demons. These Hindu extremists have used these excuses to brand Muslims, backwash castes and tribals as demons and "impose their cultural hegemony" by prohibiting meat eating and cattle slaughter.
But the fact is to be a "demon" one can be a pure vegetarian also. These demons then become expert in usurping Govt. and tribal and river basin land in the guise of propagating so called "Art of Living". Just like the extremist Riot Sevak Sangh (RSS) they are not bothered what happens to others. They want to impose their own beliefs and rest of others can be pushed to the background.

The Bounty hunter

Watched the above movie on Netflix. Movie is okay for a watch. How many times you watch is upto you. The more times you watch you discover something extra. Rating is 3/5.

Ashamed of this Govt.

This post is to write about how ashamed I feel personally for this so called Hindu nationalist Govt. of BJP and RSS (Riot Sevak Sangh).
I feel ashamed to call Modi my PM.
Seeing Smriti Irani in action in parliament and elsewhere wants to hang my head in shame.
I feel so bad that this Govt. is going after "personal beliefs and practices" of people.
Like disrupting food practices of people by banning beef and Maggi.
Who is this *ucking Govt. to decide what I eat or other people eat.
Bloody savage people should not dictate to civilised people what to do or what not to do.
These people in power in Center in India are the worst savages to hold power in India for a long time.
No reasoning with them can convince them. They are illogical and want to impose themselves on others when no one wants them.

Wet hot American summer

Watched the above movie on Netflix. Too good a movie. I liked it. Rating 4/5.
