Drishyam 2, Bodies, Bhediya, Strange World, Smile

Watched several movies over the last several days. All movies were watched on the big screen.

Drishyam 2

  • This movie is a total copy of the Drishyam 2 movie which came in Malyalam.
  • I had seen the Malyalam version which I had watched on Prime video but had forgotten about it.
  • This movie acted as a refresher.

Bodies Bodies Bodies

  • This movie stands by its name.
  • A weekend getaway by a select group of friends turns out nasty.
  • And by the time the movie ends there are bodies everywhere.

Bhediya

  • When we see the trailer we feel the movie is set in Uttarakhand or Himachal Pradesh.
  • But no this movie is set in the most eastern part of India Arunachal Pradesh.
  • It is okay to be watched once.
  • But in the end they integrate Stree movie with this movie and it becomes interesting to see where the movie is headed.

Strange World

  • This movie is too good.
  • Not only does it show black characters but gay characters and is environment conscious as well.
  • In a water world looking very much like our own earth a small patch of land exists and it is getting exhausted due to technology.
  • So people give up the technology to survive with basic means.

Smile

  • This movie is worth watching once.
  •  How smile jumps from one person to another and then it is their turn to smile.
  • That smile kills them.
  • Scary especially the creature shown in the end.

Firestarter, Uff Ghanta, She Said, The Menu, Jurassic World

Watched five movies over the past few days.

Firestarter

  • Watched this movie on Amazon Prime Video.
  • I liked the movie.
  • How the daughter of couple who have underwent experiments turns out to be a girl whose power can destroy the world.

Uff Ghanta

  • This movie was watched on Tata Play Bollywood Premiere Channel.
  • Somehow I did not get the movie.
  • Got to watch it again on OTT with subtitles to understand it better.

She Said

  • This movie is a path breaking movie.
  • How it takes out the Hollywood biggies openly is worth watching.
  • But I found the pace a bit slow.
  • But the acting is terrific.
  • And though they have not shown Harvey Weistein we can feel his presence all around.
  • In that sense the director did a good job

The Menu

  • This movie was seen on big screen.
  • I did not understand why people would blow themselves up after signing up for an expensive meal.
  • Movie would not be the same without Ralph Fiennes.

Jurassic World (2022)

  • I must confess I did not watch the earlier Jurassic World movies which came out in 2015 and 2018.
  • And hence this movie came as a shock.
  • It is like the Independence Day movie sequel which I had watched in 2015.
  • I mean the people or situation does not stay still.
  • Like people say "Time and Tide wait for None"
  • These movies also progress too fast.
  • Story goes somewhere forward.
  • They dont wait for you or anyone.
  • Whether you watch it or not the story progresses.
  • And that is what happened with Jurassic World.
  • I have watched the original Jurassic Park several times in the meantime.
  • But Jurassic World goes forward to a place where humans and dinosaurs and other animals are living harmoniously with each other.

Lyle, Daman, Rocket Gang, Uunchai, Wakanda

Watched several movies as mentioned above.

Lyle Lyle Crocodile

  • This movie was watched on big screen
  • I liked the movie.
  • Though the animal is crocodile the mannerism is like a pet dog.
  • The director has studied pet animals and made close to a perfect movie.

Daman

  • This is Odia movie and too good acting done by actors including Babushan.
  • You actually feel you are in the situation with them.
  • Realism is captured perfectly.

Rocket Gang

  • This is good movie.
  • But when you understand the movie it is sad movie as the actors have passed away.
  • And it is a story which can come true only for the occasion which is the dance competition.

Uunchai

  • This movie is less about conquering the heights and more about friendship and relationship between friends.
  • Movie is worth watching once at least.

Black Panther : Wakanda Forever

  • This is too good movie.
  • African and Inca culture is captured perfectly.
  • Action sequences are too good.
  • The movie does great to pay homage to Chadwick Boseman and linking the First Black Panther movie to this one.
  • Worth watching.

Banaras, Mrs Harris, Mili, Phone Bhoot, Lucifer

Watched several movies as mentioned above.

Banaras

  • This movie is a different kind of movie.
  • I mean it deals with time travel and alternate reality.
  • But in the end everything is all right.
  • Maybe it was in imagination and dreams.

Mrs Harris goes to Paris

  • Too good movie.
  • I felt main USP of the movie is that it captures the difference between London and Paris or difference between UK and France perfectly.
  • Worth watching once at least.

Mili

  • This movie is great as it captures fear of being locked up and too cold situation.
  • The above situation ordinary people would not be aware of as they do not experience such situation in normal conditions.
  • Jhanvi Kapoor role is also good. She becomes the center of attention in the movie.

Phone Bhoot

  • Two young guys who are looking for job in occult and are aided by a ghost what can be crazier than that.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Both the youngsters and Katrina Kaif have done great roles.

Lucifer

  • This was watched on Amazon Prime video.
  • This is Malyalam movie starring Mohanlal.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Worth watching.

Tara vs Billal, Prey, The Invitation, Liger, Ertugrul

Watched several movies and series as mentioned below:

Tara vs Billal

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • Shot completely in London I liked the movie.
  • Features several women stars of yesteryears and new hero and heroine.
  • It is worth watching.
  • I thought it captured "London vibe" properly.

Prey

  • This was watched on Disney + hotstar.
  • Just loved the action shown in the movie.
  • Deserves all the accolades.
  • Worth watching the battle between Native Americans and Predator.
  • Keeps you at the edge of the seat till the end.

The Invitation

  • This was watched on the big screen.
  • From trailer I never thought the movie would be about Dracula story.
  • Movie could have been set in any part of Europe but they decided to set in London and that is why it is must watch.
  • As England because of its English language is understood to be "mother country" of many countries including United States.

Liger

  • Just like I had promised when Liger would release in OTT I would watch it.
  • I watched it on Hotstar.
  • Movie is quite fast paced and I still do not understand why it failed.
  • Songs were good.
  • Maybe my original understanding where it "blasted off like a missile" in second half, audience could not stomach it.

Ertugrul Season 5 Episode 3

  • Last I had watched in August 22, 2022 when Season 4 was concluded.
  • Now I have started watching Season 5 which was premiered in 2019 and reached Episode 3.
  • It is too explosive.
  • Ten or twelve year old Osman defends a family and gets injured in the process.
  • Such cute Gunduz from Season 4 now grown up has fallout with father Etrugrul due to some of his mistakes he commits unknowingly.
  • Ertugrul literally defends his guest from Mongol commander who invades his camp and wants to take her as a slave.
  • More explosive episodes too follow soon I am sure.

Double Xl, Ram Setu, Thank God

Watched several Movies over the last few days.

Double Xl

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • I liked the movie.
  • I guess movie has to be seen in its entirety and not judged by bits and pieces.
  • If we see the full movie it is a decent effort.
  • Half of the movie is shot in London.
  • Movie is worth watching at least once.

Ram Setu

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The movie goes on to claim that Ram Setu is built 7000 to 8000 years ago and that is the date of Ramayana.
  • So the tens thousands of years back theory and "Satya Juga" is disproved.
  • But the main thing which is shown in the movie that Ram Setu is in "international waters".
  • And Sri Lankan military is quite strong to defend itself.
  • Movie is set in 2007 when civil war was still prevalent in Sri Lanka.
  • Power of Sri Lankan military is shown.
  • And how it is easy for Indian and other country ships to stray into Sri Lankan waters as it is a sea boundary.
  • In reality, half of Ram Setu belongs to Sri Lanka.
  • And that is the reason that Ram Setu cannot be developed commercially.
  • Back to present day, India is building a new railway bridge to Pamban Island where Rameshwaram is located and that bridge will have "lift system" and so ships can pass through.
  • And no one including Sri Lanka can dispute the fact that Pamban Island lies in India completely.
  • The movie goes on to prove that if Ravana exists than Ram exists.
  • Similarly like I had said in previous post that Ramanathaswamy temple exists in Rameshwaram and that is enough for Hindus to prove that Ram exists and is reality and is not mythology.
  • The same was applied in Ayodhya dispute that Ramanathaswamy exists so Ram exists and Ayodhya was his birthplace and so Ram was born in Ayodhya. And so the disputed structure must go.
  • This movie goes through same reverse methodology.
  • The movie also shows Jaffna Metro. That is a mistake. I believe that there must be no Jaffna Metro in 2007 when there was civil war. It may be there in 2022 and that they have shown

Thank God

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • This movie shows how man is inclined to make sins or commit sins and only good conduct can save him in the end.
  • Like the movie "Seven" which had come in 1997, similarly this movie shows the seven sins and how man in this case represented by Siddharth Malhotra commits the blunder everytime.

Rama vs Shiva

  • People recently I went to Rameshwaram and have been wanting to write a small write up.
  • I wanted to visit inside the temple but could not.
  • I went upto Dhanushkodi as far as the vehicle goes and turned around.
  • On that road we saw ocean and water on both sides.
  • One side water was sea blue colour and other side it was turquoise green.
  • Almost same case was on Pamban bridge. The bridge on the ocean. One side blue water and other side was green water. Rail bridge was also visible from the road bridge.
  • The question about the temple.
  • Did some research and found out that the temple is "Ramanathaswamy temple". It is a Shiva temple.
  • It comes as 12 Jyotirlingas which are the prominent Shiva destinations for the devotees which as as under (Source)
    • Somnath in Gujarat (1)
    • Mallikarjuna at Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh (2)
    • Mahakaleswar at Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh (3)
    • Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh (4)
    • Kedarnath in Uttrakhand (5)
    • Bhimashankar at Pune in Maharashtra (6)
    • Viswanath at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh (7)
    • Tryambakeshwar at Nashik in Maharashtra (8)
    • Vaijyanath Temple in Deoghar District of Jharkhand (9)
    • Aundha Nagnath at Aundha in Hingoli District in Maharashtra (10)
    • Rameshwar at Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu (11)
    • Grushneshwar at Ellora near Aurangabad, in Maharashtra.(12)
  •  As a matter of fact Rameshwaram also classifies as "Char Dham" which means the 4 holiest places for Narayan or Vishnu Bhakts which as below :(Source)
    • (1) Dham of Satyuga- Badrinath, Uttarakhand
    • (2) Dham of Tretayuga -Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu
    • (3) Dham of Dwaparayuga - Dvaraka, Gujarat
    • (4) Dham of Kaliyuga - Jagannatha Puri, Odisha.
  • Now Rameshwaram is a unique place which qualifies both as 12 Jyotirlings as well as 4 Dham.
  • But Rameshwaram temple is a Shiva temple where is Vishnu temple as main deity in Rameshwaram. That is the question.
  • So now a small write up I found in Wikipedia came to my notice. I know Wikipedia has its shortcomings as one could edit it as many times as one wants. But one also quotes the sources in Wikipedia and that is important. First the writeup as below:
    • In the Puranas Hari (Vishnu) and Hara (Shiva) are referred as eternal friends. It is said wherever Lord Vishnu resides, Lord Shiva resides nearby. The Char Dham follows this rule. So Kedarnath is considered as the pair of Badrinath, Rama Setu is considered the pair of Rameswaram, Somnath is considered as the pair of Dwaraka and Lingaraja is considered the pair of Jagannatha Puri. However, according to some traditions, the Char Dham are Badrinath, Ranganatha-Swami, Dwaraka and Jagannatha-Puri, all of which are Vaishnava sites, and their associated places are Kedarnath, Rameswaram, Somnath and Lingaraja Temple, Bhubaneswar (or maybe Gupteshwar) respectively.
  • As per the above write up since Rameshwaram temple is Shiva temple it cannot technically be a Char Dham. So Ranganathaswamy temple near Trichy is the Vishnu temple which can qualify as Char Dham.
  • The fact that Vishnu and Shiva are so closely related will defeat Isckon and their devotees including new so called "Hinduism adopters".
  • Related fact is one can only be born as Hindu one cannot became Hindu by conversion.
  • Only one who was born as Hindu and went to another religion can return back as Hindu also called "Ghar Wapsi" or return to ones roots.
  • One who was born into another religion can never ever become Hindu. And that is a fact.
  • Maybe a woman can become Hindu after marriage if she is of other religion. But that is not compulsory as Hinduism is a very lenient religion.
  • But what I meant by "new Hinduism adopters" or "Iskcon devotees" is they consider the "Supreme Personality of God head" as Vishnu or Narayan or the Ten Avatars of Vishnu
  • And they totally ignore Shiva.
  • The fact is there is no Vishnu without Shiva and Shiva without Vishnu.
  • The fact of the theory that there is only one God (Monotheism) is defeated once one understands the relationship between Shiva and Vishnu (or Rama).
  • Here, people will always land in confusion especially the people of Tamil Nadu.
  • There is a scene in the movie Ponniyin Selvan movie where the hero asks the Pandit as who is greater Shiva or Vishnu and there is no clear answer.
  • That is a mystery no one can ever solve.
  • And here the so called "proponents of Hinduism" get defeated.
  • Even Hanuman is called as Avatar of Lord Shiva.
  • And in several photos they have shown Hanuman at the feet of Lord Rama.
  • But in Rameshwaram, Lord Rama prays to Lord Shiva as he had committed a sin of killing a brahmin king Ravana Source
  • So those who follow Hinduism blindly should know that there is no "one God" in Hinduism.
  • There are at least "two Gods" Ram and Shiva.
  • There is third God Brahma and who is not to prayed to.
  • And there is a story behind that too. Why Brahma is not worshipped
  • So those people who think that they will worship only Vishnu or Narayana or Rama and are saved are never are.
  • They have to give up the concept of "one God" and keep belief in Shiva to survive in Hinduism.
  • And they have to worship others as well, Gods like Ganesha, Murugan, Ayappan and Durga amd Hanuman for which there are separate festivals and temples. They are also known as "demi-gods".
  • Okay we can say they are demi gods but we cannot say Shiva as demi God. That would be a sacrilege  to some. Is Lord Shiva a Demi-God

Mid Day Meeal, Doctor G, Black Adam

Watched three movies as mentioned above. All movies were watched on the big screen.

Mid Day Meeal

  • This movie needs to be watched for the fact that the movie is shot in unspoilt beautiful locations in Chhatisgarh and Raipur.
  • So the movie can be excused for bad acting and action sequences.

Doctor G

  • This movie is so good that it is the "true IMAX experience".
  • Tell me what does IMAX hope to contribute to a movie going person.
  • It hopes to contribute a truly "immersive" experience.
  • Trust me this movie provides such a thing.
  • You feel you are actually inside the movie with the actors along with them.
  • In their laughter and joys and scenes.
  • Such good is the movie that you forget you are in a cinema hall.
  • And you are actually with the actors who have given such stellar performances.

Black Adam

  • This is totally a great action movie which can be watched by full family.
  • Set in a location like Lebanon which has sea coast plus mountains.
  • That is the hometown of Black Adam and the king Ack-Toun.
  • Movie has great special effects.
  • Movie will have sequels and audience cannot get enough.
  • The cinema I went to had audience with 95% occupancy in 2nd day and audience was not willing to budge from the seats.
  • The were waiting for more like Marvel does, extras during end credits.
  • Audience loved it. Definitely felt like that. They wanted more.

Kantara, Last Film Show, Halloween Ends

Watched three movies as mentioned above. All were watched on big screen

Kantara

  • Watched the Hindi version of the movie.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Though the movie is full of adultery and alcohol, it still is must watch.
  • This is what life actual is in the rural regions of India.
  • It is part factual. The fact that one dons the dress of a "deity" and deity immerses inside him has been seen in my native place also.
  • Last 30 minutes not to missed. You cannot even blink your eye.
  • You blink and you miss.

Last Film Show

  • This movie is so good that it really deserves an Oscar as it is India's official entry to the Oscar.
  • Movie shows how movies move from physical reels to computerization and digitiation
  • Reels end up as plastic items and boxes and metal things end up as spoons and plates.
  • Only in Gujarat such a movie is possible as there is backwardness and industrialization in one place.
  • Other places either may be too advanced in thoughts or may not be such indiustrialized as Gujarat.
  • Movie is must watch.
  • The fact that such a movie can be made shows the greatness of cinema.
  • It is a lot of movies rolled into one.
  • There is a little bit of "Lunchbox" movie as well.

Halloween Ends

  • This movie shows the might of people when they come together as a society and decide to end the menace of Michael Myers once and for all.
  • Movie is okay for a one time watch.
  • Movie picks up pace after 30-40 minutes and does not stop till its end.

Vikram Vedha, Modiji, Tiranga

Watched three more movies as below:

Vikram Vedha

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • After watching this movie I came to conclusion that without Brahmins in this world, world or India would not survive.
  • People especially the warrior class would fight till the death and end.
  • Even the warrior class have to survive. And hence they resort to corruption.
  • Corruption makes the world goes around but it leads to tension and friction and clashes.
  • Brahmins make this world livable by diverting the rage into godly affairs.
  • Even if not the world at least it is applicable to India.

Modiji Ki Beti

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • The purpose of this movie is propaganda.
  • Especially when Gujarat and Himachal elections are due.
  • The movie shows that all Indian daughters or women are Modiji or PM Modi's daughters.
  • Like we used to say earlier all Indians are my brothers and sisters, the mantra they use in this movie is all Indian women are Modiji's daughter.
  • BJP and RSS knows that Indian women are 50% of voting public and women can be easily manipulated and swayed by emotions.
  • And hence this movie.
  • But okay this movie can be watched once.
  • This is shot in hilly areas maybe Himachal or Uttarakhand and those have been passed off as Kashmir and PoK.

Code Name Tiranga

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • The action sequences are very well choreographed.
  • Especially the last single shooter screen where an entire barracks is taken out by our female assasin and heroine.
  • The hero is like a boy toy. No role for the hero in this movie.
  • Movie is okay to be watched once.

Wednesday, 12 October 2022

Chakki, Paradise, Red

Watched three more movies as mentioned above.

Chakki

  • This movie was watched on big screen where I was the only person in the theatre.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Hero Rahul Bhatt is too good.
  • How he faces the struggle is shown for electric bill being overcharged.

Ticket to Paradise

  • This movie was watched on big screen and only two persons including me were in theatre.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Great island beauty is shown.
  • And what would the island Bali do without American tourists. That is shown.
  • Worth watching at least once.

One Piece Film : Red

  • This Japanese movie with English subtitles was watched on big screen
  • Amazing animation/ anime movie.
  • Worth watching according to me.
  • This is also like Matrix movie where something happens in real world which is quite contradictory to what happens in a world where people are transported after listening to song of the character "UTA"

Darling, Ponniyin, Goodbye, Hindutva

Watched several movies over past few days. Also mentioned below:

Don't Worry Darling

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The movie starts as mystery. The people are based in an artificial city which suspected to beeither nuclear testing site or something like Raccoon City from Resident Evil.
  • But turns out it is neither.
  • It is like Matrix. Where people pay to be in an artificial environment where they can be happy.
  • Hell it can be like Metaverse.

Ponniyin Selvan 1

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Shows 1000 year old past of area of Tamil Nadu where wars and struggle for consolidation was common.
  • Sequel is also coming.

Goodbye

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • Shows the last rites in a Hindu family based in North India preferably Delhi.
  • Worth watching once.

Hindutva

  • This movie is not that bad as it may seem or sound.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The movie is like Archies as it shows struggles between two groups in a college.
  • But the twist is Hindu and Muslim politics is shown.

Everything, Crawdads, Nile, Chup, Dhoka

Watched five movies as mentioned above.

Everything everywhere all at once

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • This movie is like Matrix (original) but full of comedy.
  • Worth watching once.

Where the Crawdads Sing

  • This movie tests your beliefs.
  • Is it possible for a young girl to survive on her own out in the backwaters on her own with people of the town having full knowledge for 15 years.
  • Also what is shown in the movie the accident is it possible to be done and kept hidden even in year 1969.
  • But okay to be watched once.

Death on the River Nile

  • This was watched on Disney+Hotstar
  • This movie featuring Herculs Poirot is also okay to be watched once.
  • Visuals of Egypt's River Nile in 1930's is shown
  • Initial scene of First World War is also must watch

Chup

  • This was watched on big screen.
  • I can compare this movie to Darr Movie which had come in 1990's.
  • Sunny Deal was hero and Shah Rukh Khan was anti-hero.
  • In this movie, Dulqeer Salman can be like Shah Rukh Khan.
  • Dulqeer Salman is also as much popular among youngsters.
  • He has unique style and does not try to copy anyone.

Dhoka : Around the corner

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • This movie shows even with low budget you can make an excellent movie.
  • From this movie I learned or realised two things
    • One is that actor has always to be busy and that adds to his body of work and he or she can just grow bigger and bigger. Instead of doing one big movie in 2-3 years, actor is better off doing several projects in a year. That will add to his or her popularity.
    • Next is that actors may make big budget movie which may not be that successful and so they can make low budget movie following not so success run and then recover more than what they have spent in this new movie. And that will balance them.
  • This movie also acts as a platform to launch Khushali Kumar who resembles as sister of Divya Khosla Kumar . But they are sister-in laws, not sisters, Google Search shows.

Middle Class Love, Siya, Matto Ki Saikal, Jahan Chaar Yaar

Watched four movies as  mentioned above. All movies were watched on the big screen

Middle Class Love

  • This movie is like Archies or Student of the Year.
  • One need not wait for "official Archies"
  • One can watch this movie.
  • This is shot near Nainital and great landscapes are captured.
  • Worth watching on big screen

Siya

  • This is based on what happens in real life.
  • Things like rape and cremation and killing of witnesses.
  • Bit serious movie.

Matto Ki Saikal

  • This movie should be watched for tremendous acting by Prakash Jha.
  • He has worked as labourer and portrays the character flawlessly.
  • It has comedy plus serious bits.
  • Worth watching once.

Jahan Chaar Yaar

  • This movie needs to be watched to see how parties can turn ones life upside down.
  • This case is of party happening in Goa.
  • Goa is the ultimate an Indian can think of partying without going abroad and that is a fact.
  • This movie shows that.
  • Worth watching once.

All the above movies I could watch because it was on big screen. In cinema theater we can pass the time and watch the movie quite easily. If it was mobile or TV or computer I could not have found the time or inclination to watch the movies.

Brahmastra, Resident Evil, Sita Ramam, Kartikeya, E.T., Beast

Watched several movies and series as mentioned above

Brahmastra

  • This movie was watched on big screen and on 3D.
  • I will say Special effects and visual effects are the real star of the movie.
  • It doesnt look like 410 crores have been spent on the movie.
  • Maybe they could have been paid for the inflated salaries of the stars and the special effects.
  • But the "Astra universe" has been brought to life by this movie no doubt about that.

Resident Evil

  • This web series of eight parts was watched on Netflix.
  • It is okay for  one time watch.
  • Guess cloning angle is brought into the picture.
  • Sequel is definitely coming.

Sita Ramam

  • This was watched on big screen.
  • Too good movie.
  • No one could have guessed what will happen next.
  • In that sense the director has done perfect work as audience will not get aware of what will happen next till the very end.

Kartikeya

  • This Part 1 2014 movie was watched on amazon Prime Video.
  • Movie is too good .
  • No doubt the sequel went on to become such a big hit.
  • The hero has not changed in eight years. Look is same.
  • Guess that is the case with celebrities. They try to maintain their looks.

E.T.

  • This movie was watched as part of 40 year anniversary in IMAX big screen.
  • Too good movie.
  • Like I had said the heart of any movie is that it should be made believable.
  • And this "impossible story" seems so real.
  • So real that when ET leaves we actually feel sad.
  • Such is the power of direction.

Beast

  • What a movie.
  • This movie gaves you the feeling that you are actually there in the movie among the lions and the jungle.
  • Intense action and good acting makes it worthwhile.

Sunday, 4 September 2022

Top Gun Maverick, Liger, Three Thousand, Kartikeya 2, Dragon Ball

Watched several movies as mentioned above. Incidentally all the movies were watched on the big screen

Top Gun Maverick

  • This is one movie where the hero Tom Cruise plays his age and does not romance a significantly younger heroine.
  • Here the military target is most likely a North Korea. Because the landscape shown is mountainous and full of ice.
  • It cannot be a NATO Ally. Nor can it be an existing nuclear power like China or Russia.
  • They have not named the enemy country.
  • As the movie progresses we feel it is Iran but the landscape makes possible as only one country and that is North Korea.
  • But Tom Cruise proves what the world is like.
  • While United States is limited to a piece of floating metal on abroad seas (it may be an aircraft carrier), the adversary has unspoiled natural beauty of landscape of mountains, valleys, lakes, rivers and trees.

Liger

  • This movie is too good.
  • I will say Vijay Devarakonda fits the role.
  • In this world of so many talented people the fact is no one could have replaced Vijay Devarakonda.
  • He is true hero.
  • The movie fails because it just goes ballistic in the 2nd half.
  • Like I have come to believe the secret of success to a movie is that it should be "made believable"
  • Don't make it so ballistic that audience will simply dismiss it.
  • I will definitely rewatch it when it comes on OTT. Worth watching.

Three Thousand years of Longing

  • This movie is also worth watching.
  • As it deals with the subject of Djinns from a Western perspective.
  • Western society should make possible for Djinns to exist among humans.
  • That is the message.
  • It shows past from African origin of Djinn to Greek and Ottoman Empire.

Kartikeya 2

  • After a lot of positive reviews watched this movie.
  • I liked it.
  • This movie deals with Pandemic also. How a miracle cure lies to be discovered by the hero.
  • Also found out Kartikeya Part 1 had come in 2014 and is available on Amazon Prime Video
  • Have watched it and it is just as good.
  • Now Kartikeya 3 will definitely come and will go onwards to abroad towards Atlantic Ocean.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero

  • This animation movie is must watch.
  • Looks too good in IMAX screen and big screen.
  • What is not possible in real life becomes possible in animation.
  • Just full of unimaginable animation.
  • Must watch.

Vikram, Dobara, The Batman, Om

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

Vikram

  • This movie was watched on Disney+ Hotstar.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The secret of a good movie or series is to make it all believable.
  • Vikram is that kind of movie.
  • All the action sequences make you believe that what they have shown is possible.
  • Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Vinod Jose and Fahadh Faasil all play good roles.
  • I would say it is the role of lifetime for them.

Dobara

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Classic movie shows this kind of story is Frequency and it is linked to Northern Lights.
  • Rest of the movies can only be like copies of the original.

The Batman

  • This movie was watched on Prime Video.
  • I thought this movie is perfectly made.
  • I mean like all scenes were necessary and required for the director to convey the story.
  • The purpose of the movie is to show that Batman becomes an orphan when his parents are killed.
  • In this movie that history is analysed and so the audience does not feel sad for the fact that Batman becomes orphan when he was young.
  • The city gets flooded in the movie and lot of cleanup required towards the end including the corruption which has infected the society.

Rastrakavach OM

  • This movie was watched on Zee5.
  • This movie and Vikram should be compared.
  • Vikram movie makes impossible action believable.
  • This movie makes impossible action unbelievable.
  • I mean Aditya Roy Kapur has gone amazing transformantion and has done a lot of effort.
  • Shot in Armenia as well.
  • But something is missing.
  • Why movies succeed and some fail no one knows the formula else all would be giving out hits.

Shamshera, Nope, Get Out, Texas Chainsaw, Raksha Bandhan

Watched four movies as mentioned above.

Shamshera

  • This movie is too good. Watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • The role played by Ranvir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt among others is too good.
  • Ranvir Kapoor weapon of choice is too good. It is like Turgut's weapon.
  • I felt the Samshera weapon is bigger than Turgut weapon.
  • Sanjay Dutt role is like the Sanjay Dutt we have always known.
  • Recent roles of Sanjay Dutt like Samraat Prithviraj does not capture the true essence of his personality.
  • The reason for the failure can be analysed.
  • The area shown is Rajputana but resembles North West Frontier Province or Afghanistan.
  • If the area could have resembled somewhat jungles of Eastern or Western Ghats like RRR movie then the case would have been different.
  • But then racial profile of the tribes would have been different.
  • Now they resemble Pathans but are Hindus like actual Raj Kapoor or Sunil Dutt families are. They are Pathans but Hindus.
  • And Indians felt opposite of this movie.
  • This is why the movie is great.
  • Because I felt this movie is like opposite of Kesari movie which came out in 2019.
  • In Kesari we saw Afghan tribes fighting British Empire and Sikh soldiers. And they were heroes.
  • Here we saw Shamshera's tribes becoming slaves in a fort and fighting British and British Indian soldiers including Sikh foot soldiers.

Nope

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • Too good creature effects.
  • I felt people who have spent decades there without knowing such a creature exists is impossible.
  • Or maybe the creature resembling an UFO got more and more hungry.
  • We just don't know.
  • All I can say the movie is worth watching on big screen to get the creature and sound effects.

Get Out

  • This movie where black people are hypnotized and used as slaves (or perhaps organs used for rejuvenating old and diseased people they have not shown in the movie though) is must watch.
  • If not killed for organ harvesting we cannot account for hundreds of missing blacks.
  • Watched on Amazon Prime video.

Texas Chainsaw

  • This is the 2013 of the Texas Chainsaw franchise.
  • Watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • It shows the family side of the "leatherface" and it shows why family matters.
  • Ultimately Leatherface lives and the enemies who are vigilantes are killed one by one.
  • Not immediately but over the course of several years.

Raksha Bandhan

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • Good clean movie.
  • I think this movie should have been set sometime in past like two or three decades ago.
  • As dowry was very much prevalent in the society.
  • If director would have made that way then the movie could have succeeded.
  • But if he has set in present then audience would not accept it as dowry is not that prevalent in the society as per my understanding.
  • But good way to pass time if you have nothing better to day.
  • Good clean Indian family drama set in the heart of Old Delhi.

Lal Sing Chadda, Halloween, Ertugrul

Watched several movies over last few days as mentioned above.

Lal Sing Chaddha

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • I found the movie okay but it failed on box office.
  • I think I know why it failed.
  • The reason could be the way the hero strikes conversation with stranger on the train. It doesn't happen like that in real life.
  • Also he is a multi millionaire and why he needs to travel in 2ns class train is not understandable.
  • The wide diversity of roles played by Aamir Khan was too much for the audience.
  • Also the Chaddi-Baniyan (underwear) businessman from South India had no meaning being in the Army where his life could be extinguished anytime. Why he joined that is the big question.
  • But the stunning visual of India Gate when Aamir Khan and Kareena Kappor walk around the monument looks too good on the big screen and that makes it worth it.

Halloween

  • This original 1978 movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • I know it has many sequels.
  • But the fact you can watch it from beginning makes it worthwhile.
  • Masked serial killer gave rise to many copycats like Scream franchise and others.
  • Wherever serial killers arise you have to look at Michael Myers for inspiration.

Ertugrul Season 4

  • Last I had watched till Episode 87
  • Surprisingly on Episode 87 itself, Ogedai Khan dies.
  • Once Ogedai Khan dies, The Mongols and Noyan declare the agreement between Ogedai and Ertugrul as representative of Seljuk State as null and void.
  • They are after Ertugruls blood but somehow Ertugrul manages to escape and meanwhile after return to his tribe Ertugrul signs peace treaty with the Nicaea Emperor who has sent his son as envoy.
  • Ertugrul also reveals that he never intended to betray the Seljuk state but do peace with Ogedai Khan to buy some time and regroup.
  • Ertugrul has himself crossed the sea to reach Ogedai Khan which means he has gone to Crimea crossing Black sea and met Ogedai there.
  • Ogedai Khan's son comes to Desh-i-Kipchek becomes successor of Mongols and declares one commander of China operations and makes Noyan incharge of Anatolia and declares himself as ruler of Desh-i-Kipchak which is nothing but present day Ukraine.
  • Towards the end Ertugrul and his people begin migration to Sogut which was given to them by the Sultan Keykubad and they have also made peace with Emperor of Nikaea.
  • Noyan meanwhile is making plans for massive invasion of Anatolia.
  • So concludes Season 4. And now Season 5 is to begin

Old, Prithviraj, Hlloween, Ertugrul, Morbius, Tall Grass, Indian Predator

Watched several movies and series as mentioned above.

Old

  • This movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • I liked the movie
  • How people grow old in a particular beach in one island is shown.
  • And they are used as guinea pigs for medical experiment that is sown.

Samraat Prithviraj

  • This movie was shown in Amazon Prime Video and watched.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The movie failed because its shows "Indian failure".
  • Indians will not tolerate "failure" and hence this bombed in box office.

Halloween Kills

  • This movie was seen on Amazon Prime Video.
  • It shows Michael Myers the deadly serial killer in action.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Worth watching according to me.

Ertugrul Episode 87

  • Last I had seen till Episode 84
  • By Episode 87, Ertugrul has met Ogedai Khan and surprisingly decided to join forces with Ogedai Khan and Noyan.
  • He is convinced that Seljuk Empire is a "dying empire".
  • Many Turks have joined Ogedai.
  • If they don't join forces they face shedding "rivers of blood" and face obliteration according to the Mongols.
  • Three more episodes to go in Season 4 and still Season 5 to go.

Morbius

  • This is superb movie trust me.
  • It shows a scientist who does experiment to cure him of a dreaded and fatal disease and trust me no one could have portrayed the character quite nicely as Jared Leto.
  • Movie is far better than the trailer.
  • Worth watching according to me.

In the Tall Grass

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • This movie shows how people get lost in grasslands with little hope of rescue and escape.
  • Actually this movie carries a hidden message and that is against abortion and idol worship.
  • Movie is worth watching according to me.

Indian Predator : The Butcher of Delhi

  • Watched on Netflix
  • A terrifying story of a serial killer in Delhi.
  • Actually the killer is caught by end of episode 1 and 2 and the third and final episode even before it begins one wonders what they will show in third episode.
  • Then the terrifying story is unraveled in third episode.
  • It is revealed that the killer may have killed more than seven people. Perhaps dozens more.
  • Though they have identified the killer as "Bihari migrant", truth is whether he is Bihari or not does not matter.
  • Racial profiling does not matter. The fact the story is real and ethnicity does not matter.
  • That is what makes it terrifying.
  • One can directly watch the third episode also.

Grey Man, Ertugrul, Uncharted, Red Notice

Watched several movies and series as mentioned above

The Grey Man

  • Watched this movie on Netflix.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Too good action and as said in the movie as well we get to see the most spectacular undercover operation in the history.
  • I mean the hero wins and the villian teams suffers "the most spectacular failure in undercover history."
  • Worth watching according to me.

Ertugrul : Season 4 : Episode 84

  • Last I had seen till Episode 77
  • Now in 7 episodes story has progressed dramatically.
  • Osman got a "wet nurse" and he got used to her milk and now has accepted her as mother.
  • Noyan and Ertugrul have come face to face and Ertugrul has to to accompany Noyan to meet Ogadai Khan the chief of the Mongols as emissary of the Seljuks (most dangerous job in the world).
  • Mongols have taken over Desh-i-Kipchek also known as Cumania including Black Sea and Kyiv after taking over Caspian Sea and Aral Sea..
  • Now Mongols are marching towards the Danube after taking over Tigris, Euphrates, Syr Darya and Amu Darya.
  • The series is in really interesting times and worth watching till last 6 episodes of Season 4.
  • There is still Season 5 to be watched.

Uncharted

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • Worth watching this "adventure of a lifetime".
  • The series does not show anything supernatural or "out of the world".
  • Series of tough challenges like puzzles are shown.
  • It is shown in lighthearted kind of way.
  • This can have a sequel.

Red Notice

  • This movie also shows a like "adventure of a lifetime".
  • Movie progresses from Italy to Russia to London to all around the world.
  • In that sense it is similar to The Grey Man also. The Grey Man also takes you "around the world".
  • This can have a sequel.

India's Freedom Part 2

  • This is continuation of  Part 1
  • Where the Mongols laid waste to Baghdad.
  • Even Arabs suffered greatly at the hands of Mongols and Arabs could not gain prominence in the world for hundreds of years until "Lawrence of Arabia" came along and Oil was discovered in large quantities.
  • Ottoman Empire growth which flourished for more than 500 years is also linked to the decline of Arabs.
  • Hence the equation is not that simple as Hindu vs Muslim.
  • It is actually ethnicity vs ethnicity.
  • Like Michael Jackson said in his song "Black or White" "where your blood comes from...races".
  • After 16th or 17th Centuries the Europeans came along and they saw the internal strifes and struggles between the peoples and kingdoms in the Indian subcontinent and slowly but surely they thought to exploit these weaknesses.
  • After Nadir Shah invasion from Iran (incidentally Iran also rose after descendants of Mongols rose through destroying the old order), Mughal empire declined.
  • Sikh religion was formed over two hundred years from 15th Century. There were 10 Gurus of Sikhism
  • Sikhism was a middle path. Neither it was Hindu, nor Buddhist, nor Islam.
  • It incorporated different aspects of the religions and made a new one.
  • 11th Guru of Sikhism is the holy book Guru Granth Sahib. It has to be judiciously followed by Sikhism followers.
  • Following decline of Mughal empire, Sikh empire and down south Maratha Empire emerged.
  • Problems with Kashmir have their origins since that time i.e. age of Sikh Empire.
  • Then beginning from Bengal and Battle of Plassey and Battle of Buxar, British came to rule the subcontinent of India almost single handedly.
  • They could manage to keep French, Portuguese limited to few enclaves and keep rest of the Colonial powers out including most European for hundreds of years and Japanese during the second World War.
  • The British also kept Russians out through proxy war in Afghanistan. It is known as Great Game
  • What borders the British drew are now the borders of India and Pakistan.
  • Then in 1947 India became free but it truly became free in 1950 when Constitution was adopted.
  • But still it was not "free" in true sense as it was forced to contribute troops and medical personnel to Korean War.
  • But when Korean war went to stalemate, India under Nehru sought to adopt an independent "non-aligned" policy. Non-Alignment
  • In 1962 war between India and China happened and that was the last straw for Nehru Non Aligned approach and Panchseel Agreement. He could not take it and died.
  • We can say from end of Korean War to 1962 War with China. For these 8 years only India was truly 'free'. Even before that China had invaded Tibet in 1959. And India had accepted the Tibetan refugees. Since 1959 peace with China was "under duress" and "under notice". So India was living in a fools paradise by taking on China even indirectly. So for 5 years along India was truly free and independent.
  • Then 1965 War happened and Pakistan allied itself with United States through CENTO.
  • Yes people we have read, just like NATO, there was CENTO (Central Treaty Organization) and SEATO (South East Asia Treaty Organization) in 50's 60's and 70's.
  • CENTO was earlier known as Baghdad Pact. It is also an "allied story" that Iraq was totally destroyed by United States after Soviet Union collapsed through Gulf War after Iraq invaded Kuwait.
  • So the saying goes "To be an enemy of America can be dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal". Just Look at Iraq.
  • Indira Gandhi thought that India was unprotected and hence aligned with USSR which is same as Russia.
  • Till USSR demise till 1991 India was under Soviets or Russians.
  • Then in 1991 there was "Economic Liberalisation" and India came under United States.
  • That phase continued till 2014.
  • With Sonia Gandhi at the helm of ruling party India looked to be under the grip of Italy or European Union.
  • But even Europe is under United States since Second World War.
  • What happened in 2014 that European and American influence has waned and India is more and more under the grip of Jews-Israel and Arabs.
  • With Arabs and Israel coming together. It is getting more and more normalised as years progress. Israel Arab relations
  • So Arabs and Israel will rule India under their proxy Modi.
  • India has never been free or "Hindu". It is a myth.
  • If we look at Pakistan, they are under the grip of more important powers like China or United States. Not like India who under BJP-RSS-Modi are under grip of Israeli-Arab forces.
  • Let us swallow this bitter pill and get on with our lives.
  • And any Hindu-Muslim conflict we see in India is part of the "grand design" to keep the proxies in power.

India's Freedom Part 1

  • Friends the topic of the post is India's Freedom
  • I want to say that India has never been "free" for a long time.
  • In addition to that I would like to say that India has never been "Hindu" for a long time.
  • Even what we feel now India is under "Hindu rule" is actually false
  • India after 2014 under Modi and RSS is now under joint Arab-Israeli rule.
  • Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2
  • Facebook and Whatsapp and Instagram is owned by Israeli-American Mark Zuckerberg.
  • We know how much Indians are addicted to Facebook and Whatsapp.
  • Hence not only leaders but the people are also under de-facto rule of Jews-Isarel and Arab countries.
  • Let us go to beginning of Christian Era.
  • No let us go even earlier.
  • When Egypt and Mesopotamia were there and Indus Valley Civilization was flourishing.
  • Then there was Aryan invasion from Central Asia and the Indus Valley people fled deeper inside the Indian subcontinent.
  • Some say the Indus Valley people are present day Dravidian mainly Tamils and other Adivasis scattered across the country.
  • Then what happened. It was the age of Vedas and beginning of what is called "Hindu religion"
  • Parallel to Hindu religion Jain religion also flourished.
  • Then Buddhism happened and reign of Ashoka where after Kalinga_War Ashoka made it state religion and Buddhism got exported around the world.
  • For a thousand years it was a struggle between Hindu and Buddhist and Buddhism which was hard to follow got weaker and weaker in India.
  • The Islamic invasions were the last straw for Buddhism.
  • And Hindus found it simpler that what it was not able to do to Buddhism could be done by these Islamic conquests.
  • Thus it was like an unholy axis between Islamic invaders and Hindus who began "revival" of their religion which was unlike "Hinduism" existing earlier.
  • And here we have to see that religion may not be that important as "ethnicity".
  • While initially the Islamic conquests were lead by Turks and that is why the rulers were called Sultans.
  • Next phase were led by Mongol and their descendants and hence Mughal is a corrupted derivation from Mongol.
  • Thus Mughals were descendents of Mongols and not Arabs or Turks.
  • Mongols had laid waste to Khwarazmian empire and even Arabs were not spared from Mongols. We have read in history that they totally destroyed Baghdad
  • I will continue in part 2

LDR, Ertugrul 77, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Spider Man

LDR : Love Death Robots

  • Watched the entire three volume series with more than two dozen episodes on Netflix.
  • Some episodes are too good and worth watching.
  • They will leave a deep impact on your mind.
  • Like Tall Grass or where a soldier takes refuge in a spaceship after crash or the giant washed up on shore.
  • The last episode where the knights meet someone in a lake. All can leave deep impact.

Ertugrul Season 4 Episode 77

  • Last I had seen till Episode 74
  • Now in three episodes a lot has changed.
  • Noyan has met the Governor of Bilecik though his identity is not yet revealed.
  • Osman is born and Halime Hatun dies after child birth which is tragedy.
  • The scene where Ertugrul makes emotional appeal for milk for Osman from the tribes to Artuk Bey is very emotional.

Bhool Bhulaiya 2

  • Watched this movie on Netflix and I must say that this movie proves Kartik Aryan is a full entertainer.
  • I will say you can watch this movie on loop and you will not get bored.
  • I can say that Kartik Aryan is one star who will be popular from Kashmir to Kerala and from Bhuj to Dibrugarh.
  • His popularity will encompass full India and he is a bankable star.
  • That being said teh movie could not have been complete without the role of Tabu.
  • I think Tabu acting is just superb.

Spider Man : No Way Home

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • It was very nice to see the villians back which we had seen 20 to 15 years back in Spiderman series.
  • Glad to see them back in movie in a changed world.
  • Yes we can say the world has changed in 20 years
  • Nice to see old Spidemans like Tobey Maguire also.
  • Brings back old memories.

Ertugrul Season 4 Episode 74

  • People I have reached now till Ertugrul Season 4 Episode 74.
  • Last I had watched till Episode 67
  • Now in Episode 73 Sadettin Kopek dies.
  • In one of the episodes between 67 and 73, Ertugrul infiltrates the heavily guarded Sadettin Kopek camp and attempts to execute Kopek.
  • Then Ertugrul is not successful but manages to get away.
  • The way he gets away seemed impossible at least not from a heavily guarded camp like Kopeks who was going to battle.
  • The Kopek chases him towards the hills and forests and he is killed there.
  • And then the story goes towards Mongols once more.
  • The Emipre of Byzantine is not releaseing the soldiers towards the Turks as they fear Mongols can invade after defeating the Turks.
  • Though Mongols find the area of Iraq more lucrative it cannot be ignored that the Mongols may annihilate the Anatolia and move towards Constantinople.
  • Even Noyan is alive.
  • I guess last few episodes of Season 4 may show the decisive battle between Ertugrul let Turks and Noyan led Mongols.

Beast, Ertugrul Ep 67, KGF 2, House of Gucci

Watched few movies and series as mentioned above:

Beast

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Too good action by Vijay.

Ertugrul Season 4 Ep 67

  • Last I had watched till Episode 41
  • From Episode 41 till 67 a lot of things have happened.
  • Ertugrul defeated Ares and converted him to become Ahmet.
  • Sultan Aladdin has been killed by poisoning.
  • Titan was killed.
  • Ertugrul also became enemy of the state.
  • Seljuk state also showed its power and have killed several tribe leader who have been accused of rebelling.
  • Now Episode 67 and 66 is the episode where Aslihan Hatun is killed.
  • The death scene of Aslihan Hatun is too well made.
  • She is killed while trying to kill Sadettin Kopek.
  • Sadettin Kopek had lost his mother early in his life and finally thought that Aslihan Hatun could replace her.
  • But Aslihan wanted his blood. Reluctantly Kopek had to kill her.
  • He could see life just going away and he could do nothing about it.
  • Now Sadettin Kopek has established himself as ultimate enemy of Ertugrul.
  • Always conspiring against Ertugrul and no the Seljuk state as well.
  • Ertugrul is looking towards Sogut now to move in.

KGF 2

  • This movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • This movie made from Sandalwood which is the name of the Kannada film industry shows that series and movie has to go beyond local locations to have value.
  • While KGF Part 1 shows a sleepy corner of a state and its twisted history to suit the movie.
  • KGF Part 2 shows the entire country. Including Banglaore, Bombay and West Coast.
  • It shows KGF as industrial heartland perhaps comparable to Nazi Germany 'Rhineland'.
  • But that is destroyed by bombing campaign and miraculously no people died and all the gold is loaded in huge tanker and sinks in Arabian Sea.
  • Tell me is it even possible.
  • Now KGF part 3 is teased in the movie and CIA comes in.
  • So KGF is bound to go global.
  • In this movie KGF 2 also UAE gets involved.
  • Movie is okay to be watched once.
  • But one cannot deny the larger than life presence of the lead actor Yash.
  • Yash ultimately is a Sandalwood star and figuratively he defeats both Bollywood and Madras by killing the Sanjay Dutt character and the Tamil politician at MP house.

House of Gucci

  • This Gucci movie is too well made.
  • Watched it on Amazon Prime Video.
  • We get to know about Gucci family history.
  • Movie is good way to time pass.
  • Scene after scene passes so fast and does not feel boring.
  • Worth watching at least once.

No person can be Muhammad

People I believe the fact that no person can be Prophet Muhammad. And I am glad that I know this. Apart from difference between Shia and Sunni Link 1 and Link 2 this reality is the ultimate reality. Once one knows that no person can be Muhammad one will cease to call another as Muhammad even if it is his actual name.

I know one of my friends during MBA in year 2004 was named Muhammad Abdur Rab and a faculty had come. He was a Bengali gentleman maybe 60 plus years and all. He checked the names of all and then told that "your name is Abdur because NO PERSON CAN BE MUHAMMAD".

I am glad that I had the chance to attend that class and that faculty took just one class and he never came back to our institute ever again. But he gave that message which I will never forget in life.

Because Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) did in his life what no other person can ever achieve. Thus Muslims believe he is the last Prophet to walk the earth and bring the message of God to ordinary humans.

No one believes that Prophet was God or Son of God. He was messenger of God. He carried God's message. Unlike Christ whom people tell that he was the Son of God and some believe Christ to be God himself. But no one tells Prophet Muhammad was Son of God or God.

And Prophet dissuaded people that he should be worshiped. Or be depicted in photos and statues. Tell me how important is this. These days people want to be depicted in photos and statues and want temples to be built in their honour. But Prophet Muhammad dissuaded his followers to be depicted in frescoes, murals, paintings and statues.

Prophet Muhammad said that only person or thing or entity worthy of worship is God or Allah himself. Even the Islamic Scholar Zakir Naik said that God or Allah is something who cannot be compared to anything which ordinary humans can comprehend or ANYTHING EXISTING ON THIS EARTH. God is something who greater than that. Even in Hindu religion and Mahabharat we have heard the term Vishwaroopam. This that "figure" of God which no ordinary human can see or imagine. In Mahabharata Sanjay Mahabharata got special vision and he could see the Vishwaroopam but could only describe the same to Dhritarashtra. Professor Naik takes that literally but that is no cause of conflict. If anyting it only shows that God is one and is worthy of worship. Not God's figures and figurines.

Several Christians also believe the same thing. WORSHIP THE CREATOR AND NOT THE CREATIONS. I saw this message on the back of the car the other day. This is what Prophet Muhammad espoused. Not only Prophet Muhammad, there are several more prophets in Muslim religion also known as Islam. Prophet Abraham and Prophet Christ is also among the 25 Prophets of Islam

Also my admiration for Islam has increased after watching Ertugrul series. There they have shown Ibn-Arabi who is Link 1 like a scholar of Islam. And his scenes are full of past stories of Islam where reference is made often to life of Prophet Muhammad whose stories are full of inspiration.

Milan Talkies, Kaagaz, I am Zero, Albert, Haseen Dilruba

Watched five more movies on the small screen.

Milan Talkies

  • This movie was watched on Tata Play Bollywood premiere Channel.
  • Starring Ali Fazal, I think this movie paved the way for his role in Mirzapur series as Guddu Pandit.
  • Movie is okay for a one time watch

Kaagaz

  • This movie starring Pankaj Tripathi shows a mans struggle to get documents for getting loan.
  • Movie is supposedly based on true story.
  • Movie is okay for a one time watch

I am Zero

  • This is a movie based on Muslim Girls who not only face opposition from other community people due to their use of Hijab but from their own community as well who don't want them to get educated.
  • Muslim girls struggle in education is shown.
  • Part propaganda also but movie is okay to be watched once.

Albert Pinto ko Gussa Kyun Aata hai

  • This movie was watched on Tata Play Bollywood premiere Channel.
  • Starring Manav Kaul and Saurabh Shukla, though the performances are good.
  • This movie is frankly meaningless.
  • I did not get what the movie is all about.
  • I felt it is like a wild goose chase and story has plenty of flashbacks.
  • Will watch it again sometime to get its essence.

Haseen Dilruba

  • This movie deals with extra marital affair.
  • What I felt  how can the person go from hating the person to actually amputating his arm to save her is mind boggling.
  • Also no way it could have been pulled off.
  • The crime would have been caught.
  • Just changing the jacket would not have been enough.
  • Also what about DNA test and post mortem.
  • All details about the body would have come out.
  • Movie looks too wild to be true in reality.

Gangubai, Radhe Shyam, RRR, Fantastic Beasts

Watched several movies over the last one and half months.

Gangubai Kathiawadi

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Great award winning performance by Alia Bhatt.
  • Worth watching.

Radhe Shyam

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • Too good movie.
  • I liked the performance by Prabhas and others.
  • Movie has several sub-stories.
  • Like science vs palmistry.
  • 99% vs 100% and the 1% who make their own history and they actually run the world.

RRR

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • A movie like this is worth to be enjoyed on the big screen.
  • The scene where wild animals are unleashed on the British camp is too good.
  • It was surprise actually.
  • To understand the psyche of Indians and South East Asians one should watch this movie.
  • I liked the movie. Worth watching.

Fantastic Beasts and the Secrets of Dumbledore

  • Watched this movie on big screen.
  • Frankly this movie was a big disappointment.
  • How a lamb is made to bow down and choose the supreme wizard beats me.
  • But okay to be watched once.
  • But there are several more movies one can enjoy if you ask me.

Badhai Do, Kashmir Files, 83

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

Badhai Do

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Emphasis is put on long term consequences of same sex relationship and those are bound to get into problem if one partner id "unfaithful".
  • But people can lead normal lives if the allow their partners to lead lives they always did.
  • Shot in actual locations in Uttarakhand this is must watch.

The Kashmir Files

  • This movie has a lot of buzz.
  • So I watched it on Telegram after getting the link from Youtube.
  • Could not wait to watch it on OTT and did not want to waste 200 bucks.
  • I found the movie equal to vomit.
  • Only a person who likes to eat vomit will like it.
  • Movie is sick to say the least.
  • It is like a snuff movie and violent porn movie.
  • How anyone can like it baffles me.
  • But it is not one sided.
  • It covers all aspects relating to Kashmir and even covers other situations like Bhopal Gas tragedy and the like.
  • Where it fails is that it glorifies ancient past and ignores few centuries of history.

83

  • This movie was watched on Tata Play and Disney+ Hotstar.
  • This movie is highly polished version of the interpretation of Indian victory.
  • India took center stage slowly but surely.
  • India's respectability increased following World Cup 83 victory.
  • Movie could not have been complete without Boman Irani commentary during the matches, thats what I felt.
  • And too good performances of Ranvir Singh who plays Kapil Dev and the manager played by Pankaj Tripathi

Ukraine On Fire, All of Us are Dead, A Quiet Place 2, Venom, Ertugrul Episode 41

Watched the above series and movies

Ukraine On Fire

  • This documentary was watched on Rumble.
  • It shows America has totally got itself involved in Ukraine and problem in Ukraine is due to America mainly. Not Europe but USA
  • Made by Oliver Stone this is a must watch.

All of Us are Dead

  • This South Korean 12 part series was watched on Netflix.
  • Each episode is of almost 1 hour.
  • Worth watching.
  • Essentially it is  zombie apocalypse scenario movie like Train to Busan
  • The main thing is here that a virus runs wild.
  • Not a virus made in a biolab but made by a single teacher cum scientist in a school laboratory.
  • Also here they have shown emergence of a "Superman" or "vampire" kind of being who is neither human nor a zombie. That happens when the virus changes its characteristics.
  • They don't call superman but "hombie" like a human plus zombie.

A Quiet Place 2

  • This movie is better than original. Watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • Like I had said in the original when they visit the town cars are neatly arranged.
  • Here there is a carnage when the aliens attack.
  • But they are sensitive to high frequency. That is shown.
  • Maybe that is like the movie "Mars Attacks" where they cannot take in the song "Only you" and their heads burst.
  • By the way in All of Us are Dead series they have also shown this sensitivity of Zombies to certain frequency.

Venom : Let there be Carnage

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • A small movie but packs quite a punch.
  • Woody Harrelson becomes a "red Venom" and then loses it.
  • It happens really quick and that black Venom prevails.

Ertugrul Season 4 Episode 41

  • After a long time I have watched Ertugrul
  • Last I had watched till Episode 32
  • Now Ertugrul has taken Karachisar castle. And captured Commander Ares.
  • Titan has gathered hard core mercenaries in Episode 41.
  • Scene has shifted to Seljuk capital Konya.
  • Sadettin Kopek is in action and has got a close associate of the Sultan killed.
  • Cannot wait to see what happens next.

Kidnap, Texas Chainsaw, Escape Room, Gehraiyaan

Watched four movies as mentioned above.

Kidnap

  • Starring Imran Khan this 2008 movie is must watch.
  • Also starring Sanjay Dutt and Minisha Lamba who have pivotal roles.
  • Watched on Shemaroo Me and Tata Play.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

  • Watched this 2022 version of the movie on Netflix.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Really nice ans worth watching.
  • The real star of the movie is Leatherface.

Escape Room : Tournament of Champions

  • This 2022 movie is really nice to be watched and enjoyed.
  • I had seen Part 1 of the movie on big screen and this is the sequel.
  • Watched on Netflix

Gehraiyaan

  • This 2022 movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • I must say that all actors have done great roles.
  • But the murder or accident would have been caught if there was interrogation.
  • So here Rajat Sharma saves the day and Deepika Padukone by (probably) twisting the facts and witnessses. That is not shown in detail.

Rescue, Candyman, Im not done yet

Watched three movies/ series as above

Rescue

  • This movie was seen on Tata Play Binge Bollywood Premiere Channel.
  • Movie about how a broker is captured by three girls in an apartment and is able to escape.
  • Movie is okay for a timepass watch.

Candyman

  • This is a real horror movie.
  • This was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • It captures how a black man becomes the candyman.
  • Obviously there is supernatural show in the movie.
  • Else the movie cannot work
  • Only a mere human cannot commit the crimes like Candyman can do.

I'm not done yet - Kapil Sharma

  • This Kapil Sharma standup show was watched on Netflix.
  • I must say that Kapil Sharma has plenty of jokes with respect to drinking alcohol.
  • In the one hour episode 15-20 minutes must have been with regard to drinking.
  • And he adds some "Tadka" to his stories.
  • Like he says something and then tells it is not true.
  • So much so that iin the end you do not know what is true and what is not.
  • But okay to watch once. To get a dose of Kapil.
  • Even if you don't watch his main show it still is good timepass.

Malignant, Tadap, Jai Mummy Di

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

Malignant

  • Watched this movie on Amazon Prime Video.
  • I liked the movie. Worth watching once.
  • This is a true horror movie.
  • But according to me it defies science.
  • What is shown in the movie violates all, physics, chemistry and biology.
  • No way it can happen in real life.

Tadap

  • This movie was watched on Tata Play Binge and Disney + Hotstar.
  • Movie is great movie for Ahan Shetty.
  • He becomes the victim in the movie and is also able to feature in several action sequences.
  • Movie shows something which may be quite real in real life but movie makes may consider it as sacreilage and will not dare to feature such kind of story.
  • They may only like to feature "textbook" love stories.

Jai Mummy Di

  • This movie was watched on Tata Play Bollywood Premiere channel.
  • Movie shows a slice of Delhi life.
  • This is comedy movie.
  • Worth watching once.
  • Both Sunny Singh the hero and Alok Nath are wasted.
  • All actors have done good job but could have been more.

Watched six movies as mentioned above.

Amma Ki Boli : Full on Family

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky recording box on Bollywood Premiere channel
  • I liked the movie. Full family movie. Shot in MP.
  • Worth watching according to me.
  • Though they have shown the shrinking of scooter which is actually a supernatural event.

Gone Kesh

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky recording box on Bollywood Premiere channel
  • This movie is great how the heroine survives even after losing all her hair.
  • Movie is shot in Siliguri.
  • Worth watching. It is like a survival movie.

4 Play

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Binge App and Hungama Play.
  • This is a Hindi dubbed movie from Telugu and so the Hindi is a bit like Hyderabadi language.
  • If you can watch the first few minutes of the movie then you can watch it full and trust me when you see the whole package you will like it.

Justin Bieber Our World

  • This is one good documentary.
  • This was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • It shows how in times of crisis like Corona virus pandemic, Justin Bieber manages to pull off one of the most sensational concerts in LA.
  • Hats off to Justin.

Paharganj

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky recording box on Bollywood Premiere channel
  • Trust me you can watch this movie to get a slice of Delhi.
  • Do not go by the poster.
  • The movie is certainly much more than what you get by the poster.

Ekees Tareekh ki Shubh Mahurat

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky recording box on Bollywood Premiere channel.
  • I liked the movie.
  • You get transported to Mathura where the movie is shot.

Squad

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Binge and Zee5.
  • Starring Rinzing Denzongpa this movie is must watch.

Scotland

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Bollywood Premiere movei channel.
  • This is must watch.
  • Story deals with an NRi family who get involved in some crime.
  • Actually they become victim and how they escape is shown.

X-Zone

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Binge and Shemaroo.
  • I must say here the actors have gone totally *ude.
  • They show no *its and *ss but it is all visible.
  • Movie is worth watching.

Galli Guleiyan

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Bollywood Premiere movie channel.
  • It deals with a person who has past baggage and leaves in deepest part of Delhi.
  • Worth watching. Stars Manoj Bajpayee.

Faactory

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Binge and Epic On.
  • Starring Faissal Khan who is brother of Aamir Khan and looks 90% like Aamir Khan.
  • I do not know why he is not successful while Aamir Khan is 100% successful.
  • Movie is tremendous and acting is too good.
  • Worth watching.

Wishlist

  • This movie was watched on Tata Sky Bollywood Premier channel.
  • Starring Hina Khan this movie is full of emotions.
  • But shot like a holiday home video.
  • Still it is worth watching as shot in Paris, Swtzerland and Italy.

The Silent Sea, Ertugrul Episode 32, The Predator, Pushpa The Rise

Watched four movies and series as mentioned above.

The Silent Sea

  • This South Korean eight part series is must watch.
  • This was watched on Netflix
  • Twists and turns are there in the movie.
  • Actually earth suffers from loss of water and moon has water which is different.
  • The lunar water is like a virus and it has the power to multiply infinitely.
  • If brought to earth it can flood the earth in addition to killing the people who get in contact with it.
  • And that is what the story is all about.
  • There will be sequel as in this the water does not reach the earth.

Ertugrul Episode 32

  • Last I had watched till Episode 29
  • This was watched on Netflix
  • Till Episode 32 now both Sancar Bey and Bahadir Bey are dead.
  • Bahadir Bey is beheaded and like we have seen in the series beheading is reserved as a punishment for the worst of the villians the traitors.
  • Starting with Kurdoglu, Kocabas, Ural Bey, etc, beheading is reserved for the worst of the enemies, the traitors.
  • Now that Bahadir Bey is dead, the story might take a new turn.
  • Will proceed soon and update

The Predator (2018)

  • I had seen the movie earlier but still I rewatched it.
  • This was watched on Disney+ Hotstar.
  • Glad I did because came to know that it is quite a well made movie.
  • We cannot see humans lose to Predators in the movies of the Predator.
  • This is Hollywwod and American movie, humans will always triumph.
  • And that is what the movie shows.
  • If there is a sequel, they will show a story where humans wage war with invading Preadators and (eventually) win.
  • We cannot see otherwise (in a movie). That is known.
  • And in that sense this is a very well made movie.
  • As it lives by that principle that humans will eventually triumph

Pushpa The Rise Part 1

  • This movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Very well made movie.
  • Allu Arjun is fantastic.
  • Allu Arjun is like an institution.
  • The movie is too much similar to KGF movie.
  • There also the hero is good but does illegal work like smuggling.
  • Hero has a mother and a painful history.
  • And hero has brush with law.
  • And both sequels are pending.
  • But law will eventually triumph we can say that.
  • Both in Pushpa and KGF sequels we may see that hero will have to compromise and join will lw else they will face painful end in the hands of law.
