Hindu nationalism

There was a time when I too was a Hindu nationalist and for me being an 'Indian nationalist' was no different from being a 'Hindu nationalist'. That was the time when I grew up and the time was more than 15 years ago. Since I was 14-15 years old till I was about 21-22, I was a 'Hindu nationalist' or at least my thinking was inclined towards that. I can give examples.
I wrote letter to Time magazine and had made my name as "Anup Ram Sabat" instead of my actual name which is "Anup Kumar Sabat". What a childish way. I was under the 'Ram spell' and I had innocently thought that all 'Indian' people should have 'Ram' as middle name. This was about 20 years ago.
I used to say when I used to sleep "Chalo Bagwan ka naam leke so jaate hain and used to say -Ram naam satya hai" (Translation- 'lets chant the lords name before sleeping-the name Ram is the ultimate truth). Also during certain private moments I used to say the same thing. But I had not realised that this line people chant when they carry the dead bodies for cremation. My innocence again and this I used to do 15 years ago.
I stopped following the above almost immediately after 22-23. As I matured, my thinking changed and now I realise that being a Hindu nationalist is not the same thing as being an Indian nationalist.
Hindu nationalist is the same thing as being a 'Hindu fanatic'. Trust me people there is no 'middle path'. If you really consider yourself a 'true Hindu' then there is the path of 'extremism' and extremism only. You have 'shun other religions' and 'strictly follow rituals'.
I will tell that Hindus have a great sense of 'superiority' and they they think that their 'religion is the greatest'. They think their 'idols' are actual Gods and their temples are actual places where 'Gods live'.
But whether we admit it or not we have to realise two things. First is that we are human beings first and then whatever other tags that may come to be associated with us. And second is that every person or family or group should have 'freedom' to practice their own religion and they should not be 'targeted' based on their looks or food habits or practices.
Being pure Hindu will result in not following the above mentioned two things.

Hindu Nationalists and Modi

I have no hesitation to mention that these so called 'Hindu Nationalists' are the worst kind of people in the world. They are similar to pigs. Wherever they go they propagate nothing but their stench. I will say that the very religion they are propagating is nothing but a 'hateful religion'.
Hinduism has nothing to offer but only blind belief and violence and hatred towards other religions. I am telling it from a personal experience. In India, man faces resistance and this resistance is only due to this 'backward Hindu religion'.
And in that respect the so called 'great leader' Modi has nothing to offer. He is no 'savior'. In fact he is one of the worst kind of leaders that Hinduism can produce. If you only want a 'pure Hindu' leader he is okay but the problem is what is a 'pure Hindu' leader?
A 'pure Hindu leader' by common definition would be the one who hates Muslims, Christians, the English language, China and Chinese people, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans and Sri Lankan Buddhists, White people in general, Arab people, North East looking people (and that would include South East Asian people), Black Africans, South East Asian Buddhists, Muslim Kashmiris, Pakistanis, Nepalis etc. (I may be missing out some).
At the same time a 'pure Hindu leader' will like Israel, Hindu and Buddhist Kashmiris, US and Western Agents (like their top people from corporations and Govt. and CIA), Japanese, Muslims, Zorastians and Christians who have abandoned their religions or do not follow the core tenets of their religion and so on.
A 'hard core Hindu' will always feel he is right and will try to 'impose his will' on you whether you like it or or not. He will not care for your sentiments or what happens to you.
But one thing is good in Hindu religion and that is the 'cremation custom'. We know that the world population is huge and if all people start demanding a 'grave for themselves' when they die than there would be a problem. Cremation ensures that in a small area 'many dead' can be 'disposed off'.
That is one of the reason the Hindu religion is prevailing in much of Indian subcontinent. India has a shortage of land and the country cannot lose its 'productive land' to 'graves'. Also the 'greedy Hindus' of India are such that they may take possession of the grave yards or in other words 'grab the land' if those are not managed well by Christians or Muslims (the two most prominent minorities). Still more to write about, I will continue in another post.

Big Boss Bug

Yesterday, I watched Big Boss program on youtube.
Yes, I too fell into the trap of watching the program.
Big Boss is nothing but a copy of the foreign program, namely UK program Big Brother. I remember in late 2006, Shilpa Shetty took part in Celebrity Big Brother and there was a fight between her and a person named Jade Goody and it became a publicity in the press and TV in India. It was as though any attack in the form of racial background became a personal attack to Mother India.
Subsequently, Shilpa Shetty did win the Big Brother that year and it became as though India had defeated England and won Big Brother. So much coverage in the press. That news was everywhere. It was as though Jade Goody needed to "fear for her life" due to the 'racial attack on Shilpa Shetty'. She was in danger 'personally'. Subsequently I think Jade Goody died due to cancer but Shilpa Shetty career was 'resurrected' and she came to dominate the 'scene'. She became a big household name in Indian through TV programs in India and IPL i.e. Indian Premier League for cricket.
Then Indian program for Big Boss was launched. It was the Indian version of Big Brother. Now for six seasons I did not watch the program. But now yesterday, I watched the Big Boss program on youtube and liked it. It is a good way to pass the time. I have also downloaded the episodes of another Colors TV program "Comedy Nights with Kapil" and am watching it. Thus, I may watch the entire Big Boss season this year. I am also bitten by this Big Boss Bug.
I remember in earlier Big Boss season I used to watch occassionally and never have watched an entire episode from the start to the finish. Sunny Leone also made her 'Indian debut' through Big Boss.
Sometimes I have watched a serial named 'Crime Patrol' on youtube. Sometime, if there was a problem watching on TV, I have played a few serials for my wife on the Internet (including youtube). I have also watched IPL 2013 highlights on youtube.
Watching TV programs on internet is fun to watch. I have also watched documentaries and programs from BBC and Australia Network on the Internet.

Amitabh Bachchan and KBC

I always liked Amitabh Bachchan since I have become aware. He was not only my favourite actor but favourite person also.
I know when Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in 1991, I used to think that there could not be a more tragic news than that. Then I thought, if Amitabh Bachchan passed away it would be more tragic or equally tragic.
But the man Amitabh Bachchan in 1991 was not the same one in 2000. That was the year when the 'Kaun Banega Karodpati' was launched and that was the Indian version of 'Who wants to be a millionaire'.
That show became extremely popular and was in the hearts, minds and tongues of Indians. At that time I was in Mumbai and there used to be hot discussion in local trains and office of the same.
But my problem was the 'French beard' of Amitabh Bachchan. And the way he was being 'marketed' in the press as 'Big B'. I guess he was making space for his son Abhishek Bachchan who newly arrived with "Refugee" movie. I guess "Bade Miyan Chhote Miya" and "Lal Badshah" were the last movies of Amitabh as a 'hero'. Slowly he came to play a father and grandfather role in the movies.
His financial condition also improved and I wish him all the best for that and also congratulations for that. But his 'grey/white' French beard was here to stay. Still today in 2013 it is still there.
But he is not the same Amitabh Bachchan whom I used to know as a kid.
But my father likes and mother used to like Amitabh Bachchan in his present form enormously. My mother used to regualarly watch the "Kaun Banega Karodpati" episodes and so my father does. When Amitabh Bachchan used to host Big Boss at that time also my father used to occasionally watch the same.  Both of them prefer Amitabh Bachchan tremendously.
When he and his family were disrespected by Raj Thackerey and gang several years ago, my mother and father were disappointed I remember.
Anyways, currently new KBC is on. And Amitabh Bachchan looks more and more like an "Illuminati blessed person". He looks like he is in direct contact with the Illuminati. I believe CIA is also in the direct control of the 'Illuminati'. So Amitabh Bachchan in other words is in direct control and touch with the CIA. In other words Amitabh Bachchan is under the direct payroll of CIA I feel. Shows like KBC and Big Boss, carbon copy of American shows are also CIA projected, protected and sponsored. Certainly it is not the Amitabh Bachchan I used to know as a kid and the world and times have also changed. People like Amitabh Bachchan and others also change along with the world and the times.

No to death penalty

Day before yesterday is one of the blackest days for India. We have perpetuated the act of "state killing". The 'alleged' people from Delhi gang rape were imposed the death sentence. My point of view is that we should not kill someone merely for the crimes they commit. Rather, attempts should be made to reform them.
Death is not the answer. "Life" is the answer. They should be given a life a life of 'another chance'.
Now, the way all the protest happened like huge banners proclaiming "death to rapists" and no one will protest as "life to rapists". Why?, because their entire effort of the earlier protest will "go waste".
But human rights are important. We are human beings and we should learn that lives are not ours to take it away. Life is a 'divine creation'. Act of taking a life should be left to God alone. No matter what the cost.
And for all the protest which happened for the Delhi gang rape case where did all the funds come from? No doubt all the funds came from abroad. The very lands which want to dominate India and want to shape the future of the one and quarter billion people. They divert the attention of the country folk and channel all the efforts of the young India into a path which they are led into.
As bestgore website had coined a term "sheep" or sheeple = sheep + people. And these 'sheeple' follow a 'herd mentality'. If anyone goes against them and their 'herd mentality' they are termed as traitors or inhuman or terrorists and stuff. Terms may be short but these 'sheeple' feel they are always right.
Now so much of gang rape coverage was given in the media, where would that leave the 'really young' people. They got a 'way more information' then what their parents or their elders would have wanted. They not only came to know what 'rape' is but they also knew about 'rape and murder' as well as about 'gang rape'. Because everywhere the news blew up right on their faces. It was everywhere, in TV, newspapers, magazines, radio, discussions, social media as well as protest in the streets. Will those 'really young people' be scared by this death penalty? I don't think so. Young blood is young blood. It will continue to 'pump hard'. Since we are mammals we continue to get attracted to the opposite sex. We can watch the Discovery Channels and Animal Planet channel to know how all species try to 'woo their mates' and 'indulge in courtship' and becomes a "case of competition".
I will say that the world is not a good place. But we don't need to make it worse.

Death penalty is bad. Needs to be abolished.

This post is to air my view that death penalty is bad and should be banned. Agreed that people do bad things. But they should not be punished by death.
The job of the Govt. is to protect its citizens whether they are black or white, good or bad, ugly or beautiful, whatever language, sex or religion. Govt. should protect all. Especially it should not kill its own people.
Alternates are there like prison, manual labour or banishing them to an island.
No killing please. Killing one who wants to live and killing innocent people is the worst one can do or imagine.
If you really want to kill someone, the one who should be killed is the one who does not want to live. My ultimate desire and wish is that no human should kill another human especially not the Govt. which should protect its citizens 'come what may'.
The act of death should be left to God and "Nature" which are all powerful and humans are mere 'toys' in front of them.
