Charfutiya Chokre, Anatomy of a Love Seen, Faster

Watched the above three movies recently.
Charfutiye Chokre watched on Airtel Digital TV Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive. I will say I liked the movie. Soha Ali Khan along with other actors have done a wonderful job. I will say no ordinary actress could have done Soha Ali's job. She shows her 'royal lineage' through the role.
---------------------------------------------------------
'Anatomy of Love Seen' movie was watched on Netflix. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Though the movie is about lesbians I enjoyed it. I must confess that I saw open titties in a feature film after several years. I must congratulate the heroines who must have felt total freedom when going for the 'top freedom'. True equality between men and women cannot come if women don't get 'top freedom' like men I will say.
----------------------------------------------------------
Faster was also seen on Netflix. I must say I had seen the movie on internet several years ago. But on Netflix totally enjoyed the movie. And understood it completely. Very good movie and definite must watch. Dwayne Johnson has done amazingly.

Netflix

Became a member of Netflix and as I said earlier, this is a "world changing" event when Netflix is available around the world. I will try to outline all points as below. Kindly note that I may forget some and then I may be excused.
  • First movie I watched today was Unknown. Way back I had seen the movie on Internet but it was a "Hall Print" and movie was not very comprehensible. Now I could see ever bit of the movie due to DVD like quality on Netflix.
  • We are sick and tired of watching movie on TV channels where everything is censored. Why? Just Why? People watching in the privacy of their homes cannot watch a little bit of adult content just why? Also small expletives like ass, bitch and fuck get censored. Tell me the director has made the movie in a certain way. Why do we try to impose changes on the same? People should get to enjoy the movie the way the director made it for the people to enjoy. Same is with Music Videos on VH1 and 9XO channel (only two channels available in India which show International Music). Why the censorship?
  • I have already been watching movies through streaming since 2007. I only began downloading movies in 2011. Recently since past two or three years, what I have seen is that you can download a hell lot of stuff but if you cannot watch them then what is the use of downloading. It is like keeping newspapers in the house for several months hoping that you will get the time one day to read all of them only that the time will never come. So watching in streaming even 1 movie is better than downloading and not watching 100's of movies.
  • Netflix feels like a cinema theater. I have earlier pleasure of using Real Network and Movieflix where we could become member through credit card and watch movies but no way their library would be as vast as Netflix. I have earlier tried to use Netflix to become member but it did not work as people from outside US could not. I have also tried watching through Hulu and BBC programs and ABC.net.au programs but same could only be used by the people in their respective countries. It is here when Netflix has arrived around the world that the boundaries between the worlds have melted away. It should be encouraged and Hindu Extremists like Riot Sevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP/Modi should not try to ban Netflix.
  • Earlier we went to Cinema theater and the Curtain used to rise and movie used to start. During the interval curtain used to come down and then go up and then go down again at the end of the show. This is the modern age and there is no curtain. The curtain is our laptop or desktop or tablet and this the way to watch movies in the present age and time.
  • Netflix is offering free membership for the first month and then it is 500 rupees (starting). I became a member but was charged rupees 70. They will say 500 will be charged after one month. I will say 500 is not a huge amount because these days even a single show-one ticket in a multiplex can go upto 500 for a single show-single sitting. So 500 per month for unlimited viewing is just peanuts I would say.
  • Sometimes dialogues are not very comprehensible and just like original DVD's where we have the subtitle on-off feature in Netflix also there is subtitle on-off feature. It is simply just great. The print is also great DVD quality. You can download the movies from various sources legally or illegally but no way I will say they can match Netflix.
  • I was also member of DVD library club whose names I have forgotten but this is way better I will say. I think one name was "Cinema Paradiso" shop and the other was "Seventymm". Cinema Paradiso was where you had to go personally. Seventymm had a very good website where you could order titles and queue them much like what Netflix was initially offering in the US. I watched several movies through them but I could not utilise their services fully as I was gainfully employed and working at that time. And so I closed the memberships. Subsequently they too shut shop and they are not there anymore. Maybe their business model did not work out. Way to go ahead according to me is DTH and Netflix. Surely they should offer good very good stuff or they also might go the DVD rental way.

Minions, Unknown

Watched Minions on Airtel-Order-a-movie channel. It cost Rs 65.
I will say that channel is where you order a movie and money gets deducted from your account.
I will say that is the way I watched the Star Wars Movies on Tata Sky Showcase Channel.
But I could not watch the two parts of Star Wars movies because Tata Sky removed those movies. And Tata Sky got the movies "Pan", "He Called Me Malala" and "The man form U.N.C.L.E" in its place.
And that is when I realised that this Tata Sky is overpriced cheat.
I mean he offers good stuff but charges heavily for it.
Just for watching "He named me Malala", Tata Sky is charging 150 rupees. Tell me does he think we are fools that he will charge as much as he wants and we keep dishing out that money. Thus I decided not to order any more movie on Tata Sky Showcase Channel unless he reduces the figure.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In situation like this there has been a major development and that is Netfix has arrived in India. And not just in India but in 130 additional countries to the original 60 where it was available. So practically, excluding China it is available everywhere.
I mean this is a very major development and is definitely a "wold-changing" event.
I have become a member today and watched the first movie "Unknown".
I will write about this in next post.

Ab Tak Chappan 2

Watched the above movie on Miniplex HD Channel on Airtel Digital TV after recording it on pen drive.
I liked the movie. The movie is about how politician-undeworld-police nexus exists.
Politicians use police to eliminate members of underword.
They also use the underworld to eliminate their rivals.
Thus politicians are true culprits and if there is threat to their "Seat" then they do all sorts of illegal things to keep themselves in power.

"No Moustache" No

I am writing this post to inform that I have made a U-Turn with regard to "No Moustache" and shaving the upper portion of lip daily.
I have turned 180 degree.
People have misconception that when they do u-turn they do 360 degree. Like I recollect in the movie "Last Action Hero", the villain will be having a henchman in one scene he will be in pool and tell that how come his henchman turned 360 degree on him. Then he would say "Fool if I would have done a 360 degree I would have turned around and ended exactly the way I was". And hence it is 180 degree.
Today I have trimmed the beard and made it to 2mm. I still have decided never to shave. Actually 5 days of shaving the upper lip was enough for me. Few points I would like to outline as below:
  • Thing is you touch your area above the upper lip and feel something is missing and that is your moustache and you cannot grow a moustache in one day. It takes several days and perhaps weeks.
  • I had told about parasites can enter the body through the moustache and the nose. I guess we have to have faith in those parasites. If there are bad bacteria there are also good bacteria. Recently I read how a glass of water may contain 10 million bacteria. Not all of them are harmful else human race would not be alive on this earth. So we have to faith in the good parasites/organisms/bacteria and they will protect us from the bad ones. If they fail we anyway have the body's own immune system which would protect us. We need to have faith and trust the good forces to keep us safe from harm.
  • Like I have said earlier shaving is a violent act and no good will come from a violent action. Even if we do the violence on a small portion of our face i.e. the moustache area we still cannot guarantee we would be safe.
  • The act of shaving is useless unless done everyday. It is monotonous act. We are also doing something like preventing a natural thing to happen. The beard and moustache will grow. So why resist? Shaving is the act of resistance against nature. Man seeks to assert himself that he is all powerful. No need for that. We need to realise that resistance to nature is futile.
Thus how long one decides to keep beard and moustache is ones personal decision which he can do with the help of trimmer. It could be 2mm, or 4mm or 1 cm or even fist length it is personal decision of a man. But shaving should be avoided and no change in my line of suggestion.

Lakshya

Watched the above movie on &Pictures HD Channel after recording on Airtel Digital TV.
Movie is crazy. It has shown that Hritik Roshan has single handedly won the Kargil war. It belittles the effort of hundreds if not thousands of Indian soldiers.
But the scenery is very good. No doubt why Kashmir (along with Jammu and Ladakh) is being called paradise on earth. Obviously, that is why people are willing to die (and kill) for it.
Also people in both sides of border are not troubled when thousands if not tens of thousands of crores are going down the drain when spending for the armed forces while basic people in the countries lack access to basic necessities of life.
And I had not seen the movie for a long time but heard that it shows the correct view from both sides. But I will say the movie is heavily biased for India and hence what I had heard is simply false.
I do not mind not watching it for a long time. It is definitely not a movie which is like "not to missed".

Star Wars VII, Black& White

Watched the Seventh Episode of Star Wars movie on the big screen.
I will say that the movie has dealt with subject of Shield for the ultimate weapon which was not touched upon in the case of the Death Star.
Also they made the hero black and a girl which in the age of Obama is very likely. Earlier Star Wars heroes were White.
And towards the end Han Salo is eliminated and the girl takes the place of Han Salo and goes on to meet Luke Skywalker. It is very likely that Harrisson Ford and Mark Hamill have decided the succeeding Star Wars between themselves. Like Luke would have said "you take the Seventh I will take the eighth" and so on.
Movie is okay for a one time watch. But if you see the earlier movies I will say this falls short.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Watched Black & White movie starring Anil Kapoor on Airtel Digital Plus after recording on pen drive. Movie is okay for a one time watch. Towards the end of the movie so many outcomes could have been possible but I guess the director chose one and took the movie to the logical end.
