Movie is okay to be watched once.
I have not seen earlier Raaz movies and am planning to watch those after this. Raaz 2 I had seen on computer but it was a hall print I guess.

Transformers The Last Knight
This movie was watched at Carnival Cinemas Rockline Mall. I have taken a Moviepass at www.moviecardindia.com and it allows me to watch one movie per day from Monday to Thursday only.
This movie is technically very good and special effects are real good and a lot of effort has gone to make the battle scenes.
But I still feel it is waste of effort. So much effort for what. But it is okay to be watched once without any problem.

Movie is okay for a one time watch.
Akshay Kumar has played the villian and why i felt that present PM Modi is lot like Akshay Kumar in the movie. I mean he could have taken inspiration from the role.
Though the movie flopped, i feel technically it is a good quality movie and they have kept Akshay kumar alive in the end in the hope of bringing a sequel maybe.

This movie was seen at new Mall GT World Mall The Cinema GT World Mall.
Movie is great for a one time watch. Key takeaways from the movie.

• Sohail Khan and other actors have done a great role.
• Salman Khan has tried very hard to do a different kind of role. Is he successful? I guess only the fans can say that.
• The scenes of battle have been captured well.
• If we forget Salman Khan the big actor and watch the movie for what it is we might just like the movie.

Salaam Bombay (1988 movie)
This movie was seen on Tata Sky Video on Demand Chennel.
The thing is if we keep a minimum 8 GB pen drive attached to Tata Sky box overnight stuff gets downloaded and we can watch it later.
This movie in HD with subtitles got downloaded and I watched it and liked it. Key takeaways from the movie.

• The movie captures the essence of Bombay or Mumbai.
• Though Bombay has been renamed, the spirit of Mumbai is the same.
• It was bound for Bombay to be renamed because now Bombay has expanded way beyond what it once was.
• I feel Bombay name should have been retained for the "inner city" which is South Mumbai where this movie is based (around Mumbai Central area).
• In the movie we see Irrfan Khan the actor in a very initial role. We feel not much change has happened to him over decades.
• Nana Patekar has proved he is the actor for what he is. I mean he gained fame in parinda and Krantiveer and over decades he played a variety of roles. Here he portrays a pimp and drug dealer and very good role.
• Raghuvir Yadav has also done a good role. He is the same guy who went on to do the role of Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne
• There is one actress who looks like Saroise Ronan. Link
• The vehicles seen are only Fiats mostly as it was pre liberalisation in 1991 and very few vehicles were on the roads. Now the number of vehicles and the quanity of models available has exploded.
• The love of cricket is still there in the city it is shown in the movie just like today. In one scene there was going on of India England match and Mike Gatting was batting we got to hear the commentary.
• The local trains have improved these days but mostly the outer structure is the same. And even today there are several old models of trains still in operation.
• But the long distance trains have undergone lot of change in present day. Earlier they used to dark red coaches with grainy paint on them like anti rust coating. Now Express trains are blue colour coaches and other variety of trains are different. And electric engines have become the norm. Earlier there used to be diesel what is shown in the movie and even earlier there was steam engine.
• The Ganesh Puja celebrations shown in the movie are timeless and even these days the celebration is the same nonetheless.
• The shantytowns or slums are captured perfectly. Even today if a film is made it will not be very different.
• The circus shown in the beginning shows elephants bears and dogs in captivity. It captures a bygone era as these days only small birds can be used and other animals is banned.
• The movie is definite must watch as it captures the spirit of Bombay or Mumbai.
• I feel the planets were aligned just right for such a kind of movie to be made.
• I feel many filmmakers would be studying this movie and they will be trying to emulate Mira Nair in making the perfect movie the perfect classic. Unfortunately the formula is not readily available.

All Eyez On Me
Watched this movie at Gopalan Cinemas at bannerghatta Road on the big screen.
Movie is too good and must watch. I am inclined to rate it 5 star.
It shows the story of rapper Tupac Shakur and I know that even after his death many records were continued to be released.
It shows the story right from his before birth till his death and the fact that it has not been found out that who were the people who killed him.

Tera Mera Tedha Medha
This movie was watched on Airtel Digital TV Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive.
I felt the actors in the movie mainly Rahul Bagga and Geetika Tyagi among others have done a great job. The movie shows two actors portraying Shani and Mangal planets and narrating the story. One playing Shani is Rajesh Sharma
It is okay for a one time watch and do watch it if you can

Bedroom Partner
This movie was watched on HotStar after downloading it. Movie is 1 hour 10 minutes and I liked it. Definitely it felt better than the big star big budget movies or at least as good. It is only of 1 hour 10 minutes duration and full of funny and double meaning dialogues and jokes.

Watched this movie on Airtel Digital TV (DTH) on Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive.
I liked the movie. There is tremendous action and emotion in the movie along with Sex scene by Poonam Panday.

The Salesman
This movie was watched on Amazon Prime video.
This is Farsi/Iranian movie and to be honest though this is a 2 hour movie at the end you don't realise that two hours have passed this easily.
That could be because you are worried what will happen next and that keeps you on the edge of the seat and time passes this quickly.
This movie has won many awards and I a liked the movie.
Since it is in Farsi language you have to realise on subtitles and it makes worthwhile to watch.

This movie was watched on big screen at Rex theatre at Brigade road.
This movie is a waste of time. In the name of Bank Chor i.e. Bank thief you feel you get robbed by watching this movie.
Totally boring movie and if you have something better to do then you should do that and not spend your money and time for this movie.

Cars 3
This movie was watched at Rockline mall, Carnival Cinemas.
I have taken moviepass at www.moviecardindia.com and from Monday to Thursday I can watch one movie a day and one movie title once . So for this week I watched Cars 3 - 3D movie.
See whatever movies are on offer only I can watch those and since Cars is the only movie which I can understand because it is in English. I cannot understand Kannada, Tamil or Telugu without subtitles and since they do not screen movies with subtitles I give the regional movies a skip hence my choice is limited at Rockline mall.
Movie is okay for a one time watch. Movie is extremely high quality animation and at times like in stadium it feels like real.

Despicable Me 3
This movie was watched at Sandhya 4K theater which is located at Madivala.
Movie is a definite must watch. Theater is also too good.
I mean I have seen the theater ever since I came to Bangalore and it was a very shanty theater. you will not feel like going inside that. I had never gone to the earlier theater which existed. Some years back it was smashed i.e demolished and over the course of time another theater has come in its place and it feels good.

• I mean it is better than in multiplex. 
• The fact is Multiplex loot people in the name of entertainment. 
• These single screens are the actually "brick and mortar" structures which strive to entertain the masses. 
• Also there is lot of frisking in multiplex and that takes your "prestige away". I mean they touch inappropriately at your groin and chest area.  
• In single screen theaters there is no frisking and you are treated respectfully.

Someone has spent a lot of money and made this Sandhya 4K theater and we give only Rs 150 plus 20 for the 3D glasses to spend 2 to 3 hours and get entertained and it is worth the money.

Sona Spa
Watched this movie on Airtel Digital TV (DTH) on Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive.
I liked the movie. Movie deals with an alternate reality where someone sleeps for you and dreams about you and you get reformed in the process as the bad dreams go to that person who sleeps for you and you become good. Confused? Well that is the story.
Not must watch but if you have the time and the energy you can watch it.

• Watched this movie at Innovative Multiplex, Marathalli.
• This movie is too good. In fact I am tempted to rate it 5 star.
• Rajkummar Rao is too good an actor.
• I mean I have seen him in Shahid and Love Sex Dokha and Ragini MMS.
• Here the performance is just too good.
• We can safely assume that Rajkummar Rao is like Tom cruise or Aamir Khan. Any movie we see of them would be of very good quality.
• There are also Gulshan Grover and Ranjith in the movie and their performance is also good.
• The guy who plays his father and Shruti Hassan brother and his friend also have done tremendous performance.
• Kamlesh Gill (who plays Dadi), Darshan Jariwala (Rajkummar's father), Ninad Kamat (Shruti's brither), Herry tangiri (Rajkummar's friend) all have done very good performance  
• Ninad Kamat is a very old actor and in this movie he has become very fat that is visible.
• Gutam Gulati also has guest performance and I would like to say his voice is just too deep and husky and too good.
• I will say this movie is far better than Raabta.
• I will not compare it with teh Mummy because Mummy is in a different category altogether.
• But it is definitely better than Raabta.
• Maybe if Raabta was set in India it could have been comparable. Instead of Croatia and Austria it could have been set in Delhi and Rajasthan.
• But this movie is set in Lucknow and shows the sights and sounds of Lucknow.
• Maybe it was shot in the age of Akhilesh Yadav and not under BJP such kind of movies may become rare because BJP is a party which wants to instill fear and are against the arts. Unless it is of the Sanghi type.
• This movie is a Hindi movie and we can say that Hindi identity is maintained due to movies like this.
• Shruti Haasan also does a very good performance and resembles a 60's 70's Hollywood actress as certain bits. She looks just too beautiful. I have seen her in that D Day and Ramaiya Vastavaiya and I was not expecting much from her but she just is too good in the movie.
• Movie is definite must watch.
• Better to be watched on big screen.
• Few movies are there which I will recommend to watch in big screen.

Supermodel
This movie was watched on Airtel Digital TV Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive.
This movie stars Asmit Patel and Veena Malik and deals with how in a craze to become the only contender a model "takes out" her competitors.
And ends up in jail towards the end. It is a murder mystery.
Since a model does just too much hard work like she dances when told to, sacrifices food and dons bikinis according to her she went the "extra mile" to get success by doing the unthinkable like eliminating competition.

This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas Forum mall.
Had to see the movie because wanted to see how bad it is.
But what I felt that this movie is not that bad.
I mean I have seen the movie "Oculus" and this is a copy.
I guess it is a timepass movie. You lose your money if you watch it in a big screen but you don't lose much time because the movie is of one and half hour. We have to appreciate the efforts of the artists.

• This movie less about "the Mummy" and more about Tom Cruise.
• We can safely assume that any Tom Cruise movie we see, it will be of very high quality.
• Tom Cruise sets the bar. I mean he is great actor and makes the entire movie about himself.
• No superhero movie can match upto Tom Cruise movie.
• Tom Cruise is bigger than any superhero.
• He does not need a cape and a hood to be a superhero.
• Tom Cruise made the movie "The Mummy" and twisted it towards himself.
• This is much like Mission Impossible series or Jack Reacher and all of the rest of Tom Cruise movies.
• But this movie is must watch and 100 times better than Dobara or Raabta.

This movie was watched at Balaji theatre at Tavarakere.

• This movie is poor.
• It will give you headache.
• But still can be watched once mainly for the effort by three main actors of the movie.
• I felt Kirti Sanon has got the best role in the movie.
• Sushant Sing Rajput has proven that he is capable of much more. He can play action roles like John Abraham or Vidyut Jamwal. Mere romantic roles will not suit him.
• The other guy Jim Sarbh also does a fine role in the beginning when he is introduced and then the director makes a mess of his character. he is also capable of much more and perhaps can be hero as well.

OK Jaanu, Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman
This movie was watched Maheshwari 4K theatre at Bannerghatta Road.
I liked the movie.

• This movie is an anti war movie. As to how war needs to be prevented at all costs. That is in-spite of the fact that Wonder Woman deals with an Amazon tribe of Ancient Greece.
• It is welcome to see that Wonder Woman belongs to earth. I mean we have just too many Superheroes who have extra terrestrial origins. Wonder Woman is welcome change.
• Towards the end it is shown that she gets in touch with Bruce Wayne aka Batman. So we can definitely see more of Wonder Woman in the future.
• The setting is First World War and the villain happens to be with the British side who is Aries from Ancient Greece.

Movie can definitely watched once without any problem. It deserves all the success it is getting and that is my opinion.

Baywatch, Taylor and Burton

Baywatch
This movie was watched at Lakshmi Theatre Tavarakere on the big screen. Movie is okay for a one time watch.
I will say there are two ways to look at the movie, one is the American view and second is the Indian view.
In American view the movie is great and all actors have done a great role and Priyanka Chopra is a great villian and gets blown into pieces in the end. She is different than traditional villians who re males usually and who are mostly Mexican or other Europeans not allied with Americans
Kudos to Dwayne Johnson who takes the villian out. He is a true American hero. Even Zac Efron has done a great role. Also a Chinese business man is kept hostage by villian and gets rescued by the Baywatch team. Hence the movie seems to imply that Chinese are better than Indians. That is my opinion.
In Indian view it is bad. People will pay or rather not pay money to go to a movie and see modern day Mother India blown to bits. Yes she gets eliminated and her hand is the only part which remains intact at least that is what they have shown.
Priyanka Chopra or modern day Mother India is shown as a drug dealer and not only that she has wants to acquire all the properties in the Bay area and Indians work like that as well. They consider and have proven Bay of Bengal bordering India as their own 😉

Movie is okay for a one time watch.
The fact is that if one makes a historical movie one can chose to ignore what really happened and make it as they wish. But it is fact that entire gamut of what had or has happened cannot be captured in a movie made several years or decades later. One has bound to become selective.
