Natural State of Hair and beard Part 1

• This blog post is about what should be our natural state of hair.
• Yes everybody's got hair on top of their heads unless they have gone bald or chose to remain bald.
• I have written plenty about how our facial hair i.e. beard should be in earlier blog posts.
• In this post I will club hair and beard.
• But about beard I will write in brief here. Hair follows later.
• The beard should be maintained if one goes all the way. If one maintains full beards.
• Just shaving off moustache is not acceptable according to me.
• Because if you can afford to shave the moustache why leave rest of the face.
• It only shows stubbornness on you part.
• You should shave fully;
• Else not shave at all.
• If you do not shave you can use trimmer because using scissor on your own face is kind of risky and  you may cut your own face or lips in the process.
• Trimmer is safer.
• Then when you use trimmer what length should you leave the beard is it 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm or 5 mm. You will always be in confusion.
• Then if you have white hair growing out of your beard then what will you do?
• You can apply color. But if beard is too small then the coloring is useless as white hair will come again very fast.
• You can make it grow to some decent size let us say 5 mm and then color it.
• But anyone seeing your face from close up can see the white hair below as coloring may only be effective for top.
• So option is to shave completely.
• That is simpler, shave once every 24 hours.
• Just like you have bath or brush your teeth just do the shaving.
• But if you have no problem showing your white hair in your beard then no need to shave.
• One thing is certain if you die today or any day then the beard will not go with you.
• Beard will remain with your body while your "soul will get released" as per belief.
• So I think that there is no problem in shaving because if you die today it does not matter whether you were clean shaven or had a beard.
• Even if you were clean shaven you would still have a very small amount of "beard" let us say 0.1 or 0.2 mm.
• Thus to "afterlife" the beard will not follow you.
• And you will not carry your beard.
• It will just be one of your "earthly possessions" which you leave behind and it will be destroyed in due time depending on whether you are cremated or buried.
• So ultimately keeping or having the beard or shaving is dependent on the fact whether you are capable (to shave or not) or willing or can afford it (water supply, shaving kit, blade or barber) or are too lazy to not do it.
• Thus it is a personal decision and should be left to the choice of the individual.
• But the beard will show your age because as you age the beard will turn whiter and whiter and whether you feel good about it is upto you.
• The next post I will continue with hair details.

1917 Movie

• Watched this movie "1917" on big screen
• Watched it at PVR IMAX Screen at Koramanagala
• I liked the movie
• Basically it is a true story narrated by a survivor.
• If we had seen on some channel like Discovery Channel then the story would have been over in 2 minutes.
• But when it is captured frame by frame like in a movie like 1917 it takes more than 2 hours and the story feels so real and we can relate to it.
• But if we listen to the story or someone narrating it, we will dismiss it.
• We may say that the man has gone through tough times.
• Or something like this can never happen to me.
• Or something like has happened and we can do nothing to change the past.
• Or bad things have happened and in future nothing like this will happen and the future is in our control.
• But that is not fact.
• We look into the painful aspect of history and work towards a future free of pain.
• We learn from history. That should be the motive.
• In that aspect the movie is too good. Well made movie and worth watching.

Brightburn

• This movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
• The hero is actually a Superman kind of guy who comes from "alien world".
• But instead of becoming hero he goes to the dark side and does villian like of activity and hence becomes villian.
• I will say upbringing has a lot to do whether such kind of person becomes hero or villian.
• Thus such kind of superman from another world is actually like a normal human being.
• Also a person who is a hero needs "a villian" to succeed and become hero else he may end up targeting innocent and become a villain by conduct.
• That is the way world works.
• In order to show yourself as hero you need to dominate innocent and project them as villians as real villians may not be readily available.
• So a hero is actually a villian who harms innocents.
• And that way this movie is a classic and worth watching.

Jeepers Creepers 3

• I liked Jeepers Creepers both 1 and 2 which came long back and I had seen on Video CD.
• Now Jeepers Creepers 3 was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
• I will say this movie and the Jeeper character goes in the way of IT Clown monster.
• It seems the Jeeper monster is "Ancient" and has been around for thousands of years.
• Perhaps he has also troubled the Native Americans earlier just like the IT Clown Monster.
• Then he goes into hibernation once more.

1965 War was also about #Kashmir. It was another thing that the then PM #Shastri #LalBahadurShastri decided to take the war to #Pakistan heartland. In the video all the SecurityCouncil members wanted war to end ,peace to prevail no matter what like today.

Nice video on #Kashmir. Shows segments from 1947, 1948, 1965 and 1966.
It shows how #Kashmir became "independent" and then was forcefully incorporated and elections were held in 1957. #Pakistan was still in backfoot in 1965 and goat wool being exported.

If anything people of #Jammu and #Kashmir region have nothing to celebrate following the #bifurcation of #JammuAndKashmir. Meanwhile people of #Ladakh have got real reason to celebrate. It is not 73rd independence day for them rather it is 1st Independence Day ever.

• This movie based on Third Battle of Panipat.
• This was watched at PVR Forum Mall.
• I liked the movie.
• I am inclined to say that Arjun Kapoor looks more like a Maratha than Ranvir Singh who appears more like Rajput.
• My observation is the movie is a based on facts and facts cannot get any better.
• Though the relationship of Marathas and Sikhs shown may not be factual.
• Relationship would be more complicated.
• But still one cannot sugar coat the story too much.
• It must at least be digestible.

• First movie which had come was starring Robin Williams and I had watched it in Hyderabad in Starling theatre in 1996.

• This movie is okay to be watched once at least if not more.
• I mean what thinking has gone into the movie.
