Ertugrul Season 2

  •  People I have finished Ertugrul Season 1 and now started watching Ertugrul Season 2.
  • While Ertugrul Season 1 dealt with internal struggles with the Tribe and interference from the Crusaders by collaboration with traitors, season 2 appears to deal with the Mongols.
  • I have only watched two episodes of Season 2 so far.
  • As we know Mongols laid waste to a huge area in Central Asia and Middle East.
  • Ultimately they got assimilated in the areas they conquered.
  • We can say the brunt of Mongol expansion brute force was taken by the Turks.
  • Mongols simply expanded by destroying the cities and people who fell on their path.
  • Europe was defended to a lot of extent by the Turks who stopped the Mongol expansion at Anatolia.
  • Hence Europe owes that much to the Turks.
  • Since watched only two episodes, looking forward to more episodes.
  • It is like getting a crash course in history.
  • At the end of Season 1 the discussion Ertugrul had with elders of the tribes pointed out what is coming in future.
  • It was clear that they needed a land where all tribes can be safe.
  • They know Mongols were coming.
  • They know that Crusaders came from Europe with the dream of capturing Jerusalem but when they reach Asia Minor they forgot their purpose and just "waste themselves", not their words but my interpretation. (Watch the episode for more details)
  • I must say the cinematography and use of horses and way the chase are captured and stunts are photographed are simply brilliant. Watch the episode for more details Season 2 Episode 1.
  • It doesn't look like special effects are used.

Beard and Throat Infection

  • People I must say that on October 2  I was admitted to hospital with very high Diabetes where my blood-sugar reading exceeded 700.
  • I could have easily slipped to Diabetes Coma on that fateful day.
  • It happened because I did not control what I was eating for almost a month including all sugary drinks and Falooda.
  • Initially I suffered from Acidity due to drinking tea with tea masala and banana chips.
  • So I went for Sweet curd and Amul cool cold milk and had Electral powder which gave rise to diabetes.
  • The last straw was Yakult which people with Diabetes should not take I advise.
  • I used to get up at night 8-10 times for piss and have cold water at night.
  • But luckily I got myself admitted to hospital on that day of October 2 and I was there in ICU for three days and ward for 1 day and I recovered.
  • Subsequently I was getting myself shaved at the hands of the barber every week (weekly once).
  • Then I had throat pain and then I had fever of 103.4 degrees.
  • I was Covid negative at hospital where they had tested me.
  • But then subsequently I might have gotten positive I feared.
  • So I contacted Doctor and he gave a 5 day course of Anti-biotics and fever was gone and throat pain also reduced significantly.
  • In the meantime my beard grown and one week period of going to saloon elapsed.
  • So I decided not to go to saloon anymore.
  • So once more I have come to the conclusion due to personal experience.
  • PLEASE DO NOT SHAVE ONCE A WEEK.
  • IF YOU SHAVE, SHAVE DAILY.
  • ELSE NEVER SHAVE AND USE TRIMMER TO KEEP BEAR SHORT.
  • OR KEEP A BEARD.
  • That is what is above is reality.
  • We better accept it.
  • If we shave once a week, it gives plenty of time to microbes and little worms to create something like throat infection.
  • If we do not shave and keep a beard however short it may be, the microbes and little worms love it and do not bother you with something like pimples, moles, warts or throat infection.
  • If you shave daily and better do it yourself you can get rid of the microbes and little worms.
  • You may feel skin irritation but you can always apply after-shave lotion and creams.
  • Else keep a beard. And let the microbes and little worms survive in peace. They will not bother you.

Kaaba and Babri Masjid

  • The topic of this post is Kaaba and Babri Masjid.
  • As we know in Ayodhya there used to be a "Babri Masjid"
  • It was an imposing structure and present day people cannot build something like that.
  • It was huge and and it was imposing.
  • When people cannot build something like that they get jealous and they destroy it.
  • That is what is happening to these present so called "Hindus" who have "taken over" the reigns of the religion.
  • The Babri Masjid had three huge domes and should have been protected for future generations.
  • It was part of "collective heritage" the likes of Hindu extremists know nothing about.
  • Now let us see what had happened.
  • The British left in 1947 and "Ram Lalla" idols were placed inside the Babri Masjid almost immediately.
  • The extremist Hindus insisted that Ram Lalla was born at the very spot the Masjid existed.
  • No matter that legend says Lord Ram's father had a 10000 room palace and how to know in which room he was born, plus there were multiple claimants of property owners in Ayodhya who claimed Ram was born at their property.
  • Okay even if we assume that Ram was born at the place of Masjid how to identify in which spot of the Masjid was the birth spot.
  • If we assume a random spot inside the erstwhile Masjid and would have made the full Masjid "sacred" just imagine.
  • Then Ram Lalla would have been "housed" inside the three dome structure which was Babri Masjid and all other rituals/procedures/gatherings would have been "outside" the Masjid structure which was already cleared well before the Masjid was demolished.
  • So what would have the Masjid become?
  • It would have become something like the "Kaaba" which the Muslims go to Mecca to circumambulate.
  • So Hindus would have something like the Kaaba in Ayodhya and Ram Lalla would have been inside the "Kaaba" which would be the erstwhile "Babri Masjid".
  • To avoid that the Babr Masjid was demolished.
  • The God of Hindus was "liberated" from four walls of Kaaba like structure which was Babri Masjid.
  • Now the idol can be placed wherever the Temple builders want and Hindus can do whatever rituals around the idols.
  • Space is not a constraint anymore.

Street Dancer 3D, Ujda Chaman, Shikara

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.

Street Dancer 3D

  • This movie was watched on Amazon Prime App.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Varun Dhawan and Prabhudeva and Shradha Kapoor have all done good roles.
  • This is a big budget movie and lot of effort must have gone to the movie.
  • Worth watching at least once.

Ujda Chaman

  • This movie was watched on Prime Video App.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The hero is being made fun off due to baldness.
  • In the end he accepts himself and embraces his baldness and that is the story of the movie.

Shikara

  • This movie was watched on Prime Video App.
  • This movie deals with Kashmir and Kashmiri Pandits and how they have been made as refugees.
  • Basically this movie can signify any person around the world who has been uprooted from his traditional land and has become a refugee
  • It is a good movie.
  • The essence of the story is why will the President of United States be bothered by anyone's plight.
  • It is just news getting "packaged" that shows the President is bothered.
  • Essentially people have to deal with their problems alone.
  • Each problems are unique and particular to the individual or their community.

Armenia-Azerbaizan Conflict

This blog post is about Armenia-Azerbaizan Conflict

  • This Armenia-Azerbaizan Conflict is not just Muslim-Christian conflict as it appears.
  • It is a conflict which is more complex than imagined.
  • It involves Russia as well.
  • We know throughout history Western Forces have been a thorn on Russia's side.
  • As we have seen in Ertugrul
    • Knights Templars were equally brutal towards Orthodox Christians
    • Plus there was internal power struggle in their ranks which led to several killings.
    • Also there were many differences between themselves which led to killing
  • Thus it is myth that Christians were a "united lot"
  • There was plenty of infighting between Christians even before the "war for colonies" or "war for naval superiority"
  • Let us not forget the War between England and Scotland as was seen in the movie Braveheart
  •  Also the Anglo-French wars
  • Or the US War of Independence of War of 1812
  • Or the conflict between Catholics and Protestants
  • Or the American Civil War
  • Or the Spanish Civil War
  • All the wars mentioned above were very bloody and repercussions reverberating to this day.
  • Thus Muslim-Christian conflict feels minuscule compared to above.
  • If anything it adds to to the tally of "Wars which have no solution" list
  • Now coming back to Russia, it is clear that Western countries have been pretty harsh of any moves of Russia.
  • Russia when it was USSR was subjected to the "Cold War" and Soviet-Afghan War when it dared to transgress to Afghanistan
  • Let us not forget The Crimean War or the War to liberate Soviet Union during the October Revolution
  • Recently Western powers have been pretty active in Belarus and Ukraine after Russia took over Crimea and portions of Georgia.
  • Thus anything Russia does has been of objection of Western Powers.
  • Russia sphere of influence has been diminishing day by day and Belarus and Bulgaria and some other countries have been falling for the charms of Western powers after Russia lost Poland and host of countries of Western Powers.
  • Even in Balkans Russian power is getting diminished. The Balkan War and Nato bombing of Serbia all prove the same.
  • Now Serbia has been reduced to a small landlocked country after the War in Kosovo
  • Serbia is one of Russia's closest ally.
  • Thus what I am trying to say that Russia is the ultimate target.
  • Please remember that Western powers are trying to squeeze Russia more and more.
  • Russia is the ultimate target.
  • Western Powers know that if Russia is subdued all of Eurasia region will become a pawn to them including Iran, China, 4 Central Asian countries of Kazhakstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrghyzstan and Tajikistan as well as Crimean region.
  • It is power politics at play.

Greatest Events in Human History

Here I will list out or try to list out "Greatest Events in Human History". Try to limit the same as much as possible. I may miss out something but I guess opinions may differ on the same.

  • First event was use of weapons and implements for food hunting.
  • Next event was discovery of fire.
  • Third event was cooking food and eating. Man used to eat raw food or meat and cooking greatly increased the value.
  • Fourth event was discovery of agriculture. The fact that man could grow his own food was an important step.
  • Fifth event was humans stepping out of Africa. That was a big step. As we know life originated in Africa and then it spread around the world first through land mass then through boats. Much of it was undocumented.
  • Sixth event was discovery of writing or rough noting of stuffs. We can say that writing in walls caves was going on for long before the discovery of writing. Related to this is the emergence of civilisations of Mesopotamia, Egypt and Harappa.
  • Seventh was the discovery of religion. We know that some religions are more than 5 to 7000 years old. Religions like Hinduism or Zoroastrianism or Judaism.
  • Eighth main event was discovery and the spread of Buddhism. Buddhism emerged around 2500 years ago and dominated Indian subcontinent for almost 1500 years plus before Hinduism re-emerged again under Sankaracharya and other Gurus and present temples are testimony to that which are about 1000 years old or lesser. In the meantime Buddhism also spread Eastwards to South East Asia and East Asia including Japan. Thus it spread to far reaches of the known World of the time. The Westward expansion was probably stopped by Muslims. Also documented fact is Muslims tolerated Hindus more than Buddhists and thus Hindus thrived under Muslim rule. Before Muslim rule in India there was a struggle between Hindus and Buddhists and that is vast undocumented conflict of history.
  • Ninth major event was discovery and spread of Christianity which happened around 2000 years old. Christianity subsequently over hundreds of years finished off the old religions especially in Middle East, North Africa and Europe and Russian regions. Christianity also eliminated the Greek, Egypt and subsequently Roman Empires over 4-500 years.
  • Tenth major event was rise of Islam which happened around 1400 years ago. Islam subsequently over hundreds of years finished off Christianity and other pagan religions in many regions around the Middle East and Africa and China and India. Rise of Islam gave rise to Crusades and Holy Wars which lasted hundreds of years.
  • Eleventh major event was "takeover" of Asia Minor region by the Turks and Muslims and this small patch of land was denied access to Christians for a land-based route towards Jerusalem which was a holy place for all Christians, Muslims and Jews alike. The Turks went on towards Europe but were never able to completely take over the regions in Europe and Balkans where they faced severe resistance from the Europeans. This eleventh event gave rise to twelfth event.
  • Twelfth major event was due to losses in Middle East the Europeans used knowledge gained from Arabs and Muslims to give rise to "Renaissance" and then began the voyages to far ends of earth and challenge the "flat earth" theory. It was the age of exploration and gave rise to Vasco Dama, Magellan and Columbus. Europeans began proceeding towards new lands in Americas in North, South and Central America. This gave rise to genocide of local people and establishment of new countries in particular Unites States of America which became the most powerful nation of the earth subsequently.
  • Thirteenth major event was colonial exploitation and slave trade and finally takeover of lands and establishment of colonies thousands of kms from their homes by the Europeans.
  • Fourteenth major event was rise of inter-European wars for getting access to resources. It was rivalries in foreign lands which led to wars near their own borders. Gave rise to several wars which culminated in Second World War and hopefully no more inter European Wars have happened since.
  • Fifteenth major event happened just after Second World War and that was "freedom" granted to India, Pakistan and Israel. This paved the way for the granting of "freedom" to countries around the world in Asia, Africa.
    • The Israel case was a particular severe one as it entailed the expulsion of Arabs already living in the region known as Palestine and influx of people following Jewish faith from Europe and elsewhere.
    • The India - Pakistan - Bangladesh case was also severe as Pakistan was created by British to stop "Indian" expansion into Middle East and Central Asia. Pakistan was like a "wall" to Indians. But Kashmir remains unresolved as Pakistan, India and China also claimed parts of Kashmir region as their own.
    • In South East Asia, Vietnam had to play a great price for freedom as when French were defeated in Indo-China, America got involved and got defeated as well not before 3 million Vietnamese and more than 50000 American people were killed. The twelfth event in human history got defeated in Fifteenth point. The westward movement of Europeans was halted in Korea (in Korean War) and Vietnam. The Americans(descendant of Europeans) did manage do drop nuclear bomb in Japan but could not do so subsequently in Korea and Vietnam as there was USSR and China which now had their own nuclear weapons.
  • Sixteenth major event was American, European and Russian involvement in the Middle East. They had propped Israel as kind of "buffer state" in Middle East. Listen to what Joe Biden said in 1986. American involvement is particularly harsh like sanctions, regime change, bombing using proxies using dictators against each other and so on. Since America got defeated in Vietnam and uneasy stalemate was reached in Korea the "new world" has returned to "old world" to reconcile themselves.Asians including Chinese and Indians have proved too tough for America to handle and so they have chosen weak disunited regions like Middle East to interfere.
  • Looking at above chronicle there will be no any major development in near future.
    • There wont be any seventeenth major event.
    • Age of Colonialism is not coming back. No country can old hold another country hostage. People from the occupied region will never accept foreign interference and dominance.
    • Jerusalem will not return back to Muslims or Christians. As of now Jerusalem will remain a Jewish Capital. People from other faiths can visit Jerusalem as tourists and that is it.
    • Similar is the case with Turkey and Asia Minor region. No way can Christians hope to reverse what happened in fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. They want to visit Turkey and they have to go in as tourists.
    • Leaders in Europe and America may come and go but countries around the world will continue to function in loose coalition with each other. They have no other choice. "With or without you" is the motto where the countries have to function.
