 Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line

50 Shades of Gray

• This movie was watched on Netflix.
• This movie is a classic.
• It is like Basic instinct movie from decades ago.
• At that time the movie created a lot of controversy.
• This movie also has or had the potential to create the controversy.
• I feel the nude scenes are nothing compared to what we can see on Porn.
• But the movie is like the fact that we are still like animals and we emerged from cave man days where we could see people dragging others by the hair.
• But we are also modern in the sense that we cannot be like that in public.
• And love is something which traverses the hurdles.
• There are sequels already and we should be watching those soon.

A Quiet Place

• This movie I rewatched.
• Earlier I have seen this on Amazon Prime Video in April 2019
• Now after seeing The Silence movie I saw in Reddit one person had remarked that A Quiet Place is probably a sequel to The Silence.
• I had forgot the movie a little bit but I could remember Birdbox but not A Quiet Place.
• Now it was not available on Amazon Prime anymore.
• So I turned to MX Player and watched the Hindi dubbed version.
• Since there are very few dialogues in the movie it was okay in Hindi version.
• But no way is this a sequel to The Silence.
• The Silence creatures are like Bats who emerge from the depths of the earth.
• The creatures in A Quiet Place are "Aliens". 
• It is not clear in Hindi version and so I will rewatch it when it is available in English version.
• Also the hero and family visits a town and not much damage is shown. There are no bodies or skeletons either decomposed or fresh. And cars are parked neatly.
• In that sense Birdbox or The Silence shows damage clearly.
• If humans die en-masse who will do the cleanup.
• It is highly unlikely. Damage will remain as it is.

Hereditary

• This movie I watched on Netflix.
• It is a scary movie.
• Comparable to best in horror.
• But they have seen an associate of the Devil, the demon king Paimon who does the damage.
• I feel if you become a victim of such a powerful entity like shown in the movie there s nothing to be sad or scared.
• And hence that is the purpose of 90% of horror and scary movies.
• They want to show the "Evil" on the other side and bring you closer to the good like "God and Jesus".
• And in situation like this movie like The Silence is powerful because there the hero fights with the Christian like cult for his family and does not succumb to them inspite of the challenges.

Cargo (Hindi), The Old Guard

 Watched the above two movies on Netflix.

Cargo (Hindi)

• This movie deals with rebirth.
• People who die are "taken care" of by people who do not die.
• Like there memory is erased, body is cleared of blemishes and resend back to earth possibly as a baby to continue the cycle of  life.
• In Indian context especially Hindus it will be perfect movie.
• In fact you may be tempted that this is how birth and death and rebirth happen.
• But if you don't believe in rebirth then what.
• But if you believe then you may feel there is no alternative.
• Important thing is that those "caretakers" who do not die are called "Rakshahsas" or "Demons" in the movie.
• They are like "X Men" or people with extraordinary powers each gifted in a unique way.
• And when they come across people whom they have "dealt with" earlier they should retire and that is the system.
• It is well though story, traditional and science fiction merged into one.
• Definitely worth watching once.
• Movie is slow and if it would have released in theaters it would not have gone for more than 1 weekend or a few shows as you may put it.
  

The Old Guard

• This is a very well made movie.
• And unfortunately villains are made to be heroes.
• Why they become villains? Actually they are immortals and they cannot die.
• So when some scientists want to use them as guinea pigs and do experiment on them to benefit "normal human beings", they turn on them and kill several people.
• Now it is debatable whether what they did was right or wrong.
• The thing is if we do not allow science to prosper human beings will suffer collectively.
• Now another person who has been gathering their history believes they have done several things over the past centuries which have benefited human beings "exponentially"
• My belief if they had offered themselves for research humans would have benefited more.
• But what they did.
• They did not want to end their "freedom" and hence fought their way through.
• They are immortals and no one can kill them and they are fighters also.
• They have discovered their "immortality" in the "line of fire" so as to speak i.e. when they are killed while fighting.
• My view if such a thing does happen then it would be more frequent as humans must have fought hundreds of thousands of wars among themselves over the past thousands of years.
  
• But the concept is good and movie is well made.
• They have also shown a person who is dropped to the bottom of the ocean in an iron maiden coffin so the moment she dies she gets back to life and the cycle continues infinitely.
• She is shown in the last scene.
• Now it is to be seen what they show in the sequel.
  

Cargo (English), The Silence

Watched four movies on Netflix in past few days. Two are as below:

Cargo

• This Australian movie is a must watch.
• Actually they show a family which have infection of deadly Zombie virus.
• When you bleed fast you convert faster.
• The movie is perfect and no faults.
• They show how the hero gets bitten and wants to kill himself through a syringe. 
• That syringe comes in  pack which is probably distributed by the authorities following the outbreak.
• You get 48 hours but if you bleed more you get converted faster.
• The hero changes his mind when the "so-called" family he meets is actually not a family but the person is keeping the lady as a "keep".
• It is complicated because the hero has a two year old baby.
  
• The hero then gets in touch with the native Aboriginal people who are able to fight the zombies using fire and traditional weapons.
• And in the end the hero gets guided to the tribe after he has become a Zombie by using teeth guard and being led by meat in a stick like we see in "carrot and stick illustration".
• Movie is must watch
  

The Silence

• This movie happens because a subterranean chamber unexplored and unmapped cave system hidden for thousands of years under the Appalachian Mountains is opened by explorers.
• And this unleashes monsters who are like coming straight from hell.
• They are like huge bats and light brown in colour.
• After living for thousands of years under the ground in the dark they have no eyesight but have developed acute sense of hearing.
• And this sound enables them to attack their victims.
• Anything which makes a sound is potentially their victim.
• The hero family escapes alongwith his friend.
• They get caught in jam on the highway and they take country roads and the friend suffers an accident.
• But the creatures manage to reach them.
• I feel what would have happened in the jam.
• Though nothing is shown in the movie, I believe it would have been a massacre.
• The did well to escape from the jam.
• Then they take refuge in house and during visit to a local town to get some medicines they come across a cult actually a group of people who have taken refuge in God like traditional Christians.
• They are believers of traditional religion like man is made to live in the world and procreate and accept the beasts as Gods curse and adjust to it. 
• Their members have cut off their own tongues so that no one will be able to speak and make a sound anyway.
  
• When they want to kidnap the hero's daughter as she is "fertile", the hero knows their intention and it is war and in the struggle many people from the cult die in the kidnap attempt and few from hero family also die.
• The creatures supposedly cannot tolerate cold and freezing conditions and so the hero family escape up north.
• In the end of the movie they show that man has evolved including the heroes daughter who has connected with her friend from earlier days and they are hunting the creatures using traditional bow and arrows.
• The end begins with the question whether the creatures will evolve to survive the cold and will they develop eyesight and so on. But no doubt the world has changed.
• Thus there are two "silences" shown in the movie. One is the silence to avoid the creatures and next is the silence not to take refuge in cult like religion where we accept something as "God's will" and resign to it.
• If they would have accepted it the heroes family would have joined the cult, cut off their own tongues and the daughter would have been used for procreation.
  

Army of Dead Movie through Saas Bahu Saazish

• Joined Netflix after several months and watched "Army of Dead"
• Actually for several weeks I was watching the episodes of "Saas Bahu aur Saazish" or SBS in ABP Hindi Channel.
• It has been airing on ABP News Channel for several years now in fact as far as I can remember.
• It airs at 2:30 PM India Time everyday on ABP Hindi News channel.
  
• I must confess I watched "Radhe" on Zee5 after joining only because of their showing stuff about Radhe in Saas Bahu Saazish episodes.
• Similarly for several episodes of SBS now they have been showing about Zack Snyders's "Army of Dead"
• They would not have shown that much but only because of Huma Qureishi guest appearance in the movie it is of special importance to them.
• Finally the movie got released and they gave a review as well (on SBS).
• So I just thought I have to see it.
• Since Netflix is not giving annual membership I was not joining them.
• But due to this movie "Army of Dead", I joined with monthly membership and watched it as well.
• The main faults in the movie are as below 
• The "Alpha Zombie" could be killed just as simply as the ordinary Zombies i.e. with shot to the head. So there was no need for Special Forces carrying the Alpha in the first scene to lose him in the first place. But the director wanted the movie to happen and people wanted to see the movie and so the Alpha Zombie had to escape.
  
• Next was that if getting a Zombie was that important, money was never the issue then why did not give the purpose to the team. Maybe lives could have been saved.
• Then the Queen Zombie head goes on living even after head is dismembered. Does it not sound strange. If the head can go on living so can other body parts.
• In other words Zombie can never get killed.
• Also when the head is dropped to the ground it gets squashed like brain matter while in the bag it stays solid as a rock.
  
• Now the daughter of Batista goes on with a mini mission of saving Geeta played by Huma Quraishi.
• But in the end they do not show whether she lives or dies.
• Batista converts to Zombie and is killed by daughter.
• The coloured character escapes the safe but does not convert even after several hours of having being bitten.
• But movie is okay for a one time watch.
• Guess better leave brain outside the room and watch the movie.
  

Cyclone Yaas and Tauktae and India

• The topic of this blog post is "Cyclone Yaas and Tauktae and India"
• India is a country which is diverse in its nature.
• People wear different clothes, talk in different languages, follow different cultural and religious practices and so on.
• India is a country which has "unity in diversity"
• We may be different but we are the same people.
• Any person who challenges this unity of India is shown his place.
• If not by people either general public or people in authority, then by nature itself.
  
• Weather disturbances and phenomena like cyclone prove the same that India is one.
• Recent cyclones Tauktae and Yaas prove this point.
  
• Now let us study these two cyclones which happened in India in this month of May 2021
• Cyclone Tauktae happened on the West Coast of India.
• It dragged itself along the Western Coastline affecting states along the way.
• States like Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Daman and Diu were affected.
• The Cyclone finally made landfall in Saurashtra in Gujarat and that was not the end of it.
• It proceeded from Gujarat in North East direction towards Rajasthan, MP and Delhi and Western UP and Uttarakhand where it collided with Himalayas and met its end.
• Next Cyclone Yaas is still in motion.
• As per Windy.com, it has crossed Odisha coast making landfall and proceeding in North Western direction in straight path crossing Jharkhand and will cause rains over Varanasi, Allahabad and Gorakhpur in Eastern UP.
• Then it collides with Himalayas in Nepal and goes along the Himalayas moving Eastwards crossing Bihar, North Bengal, north Bangladesh before getting extinguished in Meghalaya.
• Thus the above two cyclones have shown how geographically united India is.
• Anyone who has doubt should just end his misconception.
• India is a one nation.
• Whichever path both the cyclones followed is one nation.
• There is no doubt about it.
• Nature or in other words God proves so.
• If God controls nature we should believe that God has destined the Indian landmass to be together.
• God has created the Cyclones and the path of the Cyclones.
• If we believe not even a leaf will rustle without the will of God we must accept that it is the will of God that India is one.
  
• There can be no two minds about it.
• And from here we should appreciate each other and respect each other.
• That is the lesson we get.
  

Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai

• Watched this movie "Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai" on Zee5.
• I took special membership in offer now at Zee5 website and App.
• That is 499 for 1 year membership and includes "Radhe" movie watching for 21 days.
• I will say it is good deal.
• Instead of 1250 I was charged 500 in simple words.
• The movie is too good.
• Movie is set in Mumbai.
  
• People think of Dubai as the ultimate destination but I will say Mumbai has potential.
• What is the potential of Mumbai vs Dubai you may ask.
• I will the areas surrounding Dubai are deserts but areas surrounding Mumbai is the Indian landmass.
• Indian landmass comprises of deserts, mountains, rivers, forests, lakes, hill stations, snow capped peaks and so on.
• Indian peninsula has more potential than the Arabian peninsula.
• Indian peninsula is blessed with plenty of water supply both ground water and rains in the form of Monsoon.
• While in many regions of the world there is water problem and agriculture problem, there is no problem in India if managed properly.
  
• So there is no doubt Salman Khan based the movie in Mumbai.
• I heard that the movie duration was 2 and half hours but producers decided it to reduce it to 1 hour 50 minutes to appeal to OTT platform.
• People do not watch long movies on OTT at one go and so the research says.
• Movie is too good a package.
• There are three persons who are super-villians and Randep Hooda is their leader.
• They usurp the traditional dons and forces them to come together with the cops.
• I will say Disha Patani is in the movie for the "oomph factor" and running around in skimpy clothes for "eye candy".
• First fight scene is bloody like Quentin Tarantino movie like Kill Bill or Ertugrul series fight scene with swords.
• That scene has no relation to the main movie story and only shows how Salman Khan is a protector of "womankind" and women.
• And the person who is attacked by Randeep Hooda and injured results in Randeep Hooda being killed by Salman Khan in video call with that person.
• So Salman Khan is the deliverer of justice for the weak.
• This is a mishmash of Salman movies like Wanted, Dabangg, Race 3, Tiger Zinda Hai and so on.
  
• This movie is a copy of Vijay Master also, the way Salman Khan engages with the students to catch the villians.
• Also the scene where the villian henchmen in bikes are chased by Salman in jeep is hallmark of Master movie where the trucks driven by henchmen is chased by Vijay in truck. Such minor changes have to be made or it will be an out and out copy and will be caught red handed or with pants down as you may prefer to call it.
  
• Movie is worth watching according to me.
• Salman Khan is the numero uno star according to me.
• Past laurels cannot be yardstick according to me.
• Whose shop is still open. Since Salman Khan has come with latest movie he is the man and the star.
  
• Please avoid piracy and watch through official channels only is my appeal.
• It is the way to go for the future.
• If Salman Khan can do it all producers and actors can do it. They should not wait for halls to reopen. 
• To cut losses they can release on OTT.
• They can issue tickets. So for watching the movie you have to "pay extra" and hence they can make some collection in the process.
  

Do Not Use Mask

• People after seeing fatalities in India for several weeks now I have been analysing and came to the conclusion that masks are responsible for this huge toll.
• During last year 2020 also I had read that a person in Madhya Pradesh had died of breathlessness and at that time also I suspected it must have been due to indiscriminate use of mask.
  
• Here we must realise that people have a natural way of breathing.
• So we have learned from school.
• People breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon Dioxide.
• I think all mammals breathe why just people.
  
• In other words people breathe in O2 and exhale CO2
• Now when masks are used the normal process of breathing is interrupted.
• People breathe in CO2 or Carbon Dioxide continuously and that causes irrepairable damage to their lungs.
• People must realise that lungs if damaged is irreversible.
• It has long term consequences.
  
• It is like heart attack. 
• After heart attack the heart never goes back to the "way it was".
  
• Following lung damage, then now they need a fresh supply of oxygen via cylinders or concentrators.
• Now use of these cylinders and concentrators in humid cramped conditions gives rise to Black Fungus or Mucormycosis
• That is a different story.
• But if they do not take oxygen through cylinders they suffer from breathlessness and ultimately are unable to breathe.
• Now new oxygen concentrators have come in scene and they also aid in oxygen supply to patients.
• There is also a technique of "proning" which augments the oxygen supply into the lungs.
• I am asking you will you do proning with mask on?
• Only a fool will try get more oxygen inside the body with a mask on.
• I mean how gullible are people?
• Would you deliberately do something to worsen your health.
  
• So why use mask at all?
• If anything the mask will worsen your lungs to the point of no return except release from life.
• People who love their lives will not wear masks.
• Even if Coronavirus as a deadly thing is a reality which I doubt, but, by the indiscriminate use of mask it goes on increasing problems in the body to the point of no return.
• Then we watch people on TV in China, Singapore and Japan and other countries that people are wearing masks.
• Somehow I cannot reconcile how people in some countries continue to wear masks and have the Coronavirus in control.
• Then again in Japan and Singapore there is rebound of the Virus as of May 2021 though not in numbers like India.
• So looks like use of masks is not proving effective.
• Even if Coronavirus as a deadly entity is a reality which I doubt, by use of mask we are destroying the body's natural ability to fight the virus among other things by depriving our organs and cells of oxygen which is possible through normal breathing.
• We need no oxygen cylinders or concentrators if we continue to breathe normally and not place a barrier between us and the atmosphere by mask.
• Then you may ask why Govt. is advising us to wear masks?
• I fear the worst.
• Govt is working on an agenda to "control population" in various countries including India.
• That is why while people in United States and UK have stopped wearing masks while it is being enforced in countries like India.
• Some people have realised that it is simpler to control population like this than through legislation and population control law.
• If population control law is brought in people will produce more children as open defiance of Govt. 
• Giving example is like in British Rule period in India if child marriage was prohibited people violated it left center and right and married kids at early age.
  
• This so called epidemic is a problem of our own making.
• We blindly believe what the Govt is suggesting and enforcing without using our minds and common sense.
• If we follow the Govt like this blindly I will say nobody can be blamed but us for the catastrophe happening like in India today.
