Dono, Saw X, Khamosh, Thank You

Watched four movies as mentioned above.

Dono

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Both lead actors have done great job.
  • Rajvir Deol and Paloma I meant.
  • Both have potential to be big stars.
  • Movie is worth watching once.

Saw X

  • This movie was seen on the big screen.
  • This movie shows how doing evil things can get you killed.
  • Basically it absolves the Saw instigator of any wrong doings.
  • It shows that people who take advantage of other peoples weakness get to pay in the end.
  • It is a bit like Karma story.

Khamosh

  • This movie was watched on the big screen as part of the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film festival.
  • This is one of his early works.
  • Since VVC is from Kashmir this movie is shot in Kashmir.
  • Too good movie.
  • Google search shows that when this movie got released in 1984 there were no takers to screen this movie.
  • But now almost 40 years later this movie is like a cult classic.

Thank You for Coming

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Starring Bhoomi Pednekar this movie missed the scene of Swara Bhaskar vibrator scene from Veere Di Wedding.
  • One scene like the Swara Bhasker scene and the movie would have been complete.
  • Story is the same as how one should find pleasure oneself and not from partner.

Mission Ranigunj, Ganapath, The Creator

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

Mission Ranigunj

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • This movie based on a real life story, chronicles the rescue attempt of Mr Gill
  • He personally saw to it that 30 plus miners are rescued safely from a coal mine collapse.
  • Worth watching this movie.

Ganapath

  • This movie was was watched on the big screen.
  • This movie shows a dystopian future and the important thing in the movie is the villian.
  • The villian portrayed by Tiger Shroff himself is shown to be like a "Djinn" who appears as a mist or perhaps is artificial intellegence.
  • The secret would be revealed in Part 2.

The Creator

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Here they have shown a geographical area called "new Asia" and it encompasses entire South East Asia and includes Eastern Himalayas which means North East India.
  • They have spent huge sums showing "world of the future".
  • And though nuclear device is detonated by A.I in Los Angeles towards the end they have shown LA with its ships going all the way to the moon.
  • Thus LA is better than it ever was and they have done it without AI and so they claim in the movie.
  •  AI is thus contained only in geographical entity called New Asia.
  • The West goes on without AI.
  • I wonder if that is possible.
  • I mean so much progress without AI or robotics is just not possible.

Fukrey 3, Rocky, Haunting

Watched three more movies as mentioned above.

Fukrey 3

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Movie is full of comedy and worth watching once.
  • It would help if you have watched Part 1 and 2 but it is not compulsory.

Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • This is actually 2nd time I watched the movie.
  • Movie is full of entertainment with good songs and drama.
  • Worth watching at least once.
  • 2nd time may be watched for the acting and the performances plus to recollect how the sequence of events transpired.

A Haunting in Venice

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • How the case was cracked by Hercule Poirot is shown in the movie.
  • It is a simple case but could only be solved by Hercule Poirot.
  • As initially the case appeared too complicated with supernatural elements as well.
  • Worth watching once.

Smugglers, Ertugrul, The Vaccine War

Watched three more content as mentioned above.

Smugglers

  • This South Korean movie was watched on big screen.
  • It is too good movie set in the 1970's before Korea became a manufacturing superpower.
  • It shows how small to big items were getting smuggled and movie is full of comedy and action scenes.
  • Movie is worth watching once.

Ertugrul Season 5 Episode 140

  • Last I had watched till Episode 139
  • This is too good series and each Episode packs a punch.
  • Will watch more episodes soon.

The Vaccine War

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Movie is too good and worth watching.
  • Mainly there are three "wars" shown in the movie.
  • First is the war between virus and the scientists and doctors.
  • Next is the war between misinformation and facts.
  • Third is the war between the vaccines itself.
  • Like between inactivated virus vaccine and mRNA vaccines.
  • Overall a good effort by the filmmakers and movie does not seem long or slow.
  • Probably because we have all lived through the Covid period and have actually seen things unfolding.
  • That is what they have shown in the movie.
  • Why mRNA vaccines were not introduced in India was shown without criticising the mRNA vaccines.
  • The director walks a fine line and shows "Confidential reports" for the same.

Great Indian, Heist of the, Nun 2

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

The Great Indian Family

  • Watched this movie on the big screen
  • When I first saw this movie trailer and poster and came to know about it, I wondered why it is named so.
  • Instead of the Great Indian family it could have been named as the Great "Bharatiya" family or simply as Bhajan Kumar which is the popular name of the hero.
  • But after watching this movie I came to know that since the movie is about communal harmony and people of all religions and castes living peacefully that is why it is named so.
  • "India" surmises that, any person who lives in India and calls it as his home becomes Indian.
  • Just like American or African.
  • Calling himself Bharatiya or Hindus or Hindustanis is not quite the same feeling.
  • I could get that.
  • The makers also deliberately wanted the people to know what was in  store for them.
  • They did not name it otherwise and could have faced more ridicule and charges of "being tricked".
  • Movie is okay for a one time watch.

Heist of the Century

  • This movie was watched partly on BookmyShow stream and partly on Amazon Prime video.
  • Movie is Argentinian and worth watching.
  • I suspect that the series "Money Heist" could be "inspired" by this movie.
  • It is a question of which came first.
  • Definitely this movie is worth watching once.

Nun 2

  • Watched this movie on the big screen.
  • Movie was okay for a one time watch.
  • It would be not much scary for a few that's what I felt.
  • I have not watched part 1 and hope to watch part 1 soon.
  • It is not essential that you watch Part 1 but it would be helpful.

Jailer, Jawan, Equalizer

Watched three more movies as mentioned above.

Jailer

  • This movie was watched on Prime Video.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Movie though is serious movie is filled with several comedy moments and that makes it worthwhile.
  • Movie does not feel slow at all.

Jawan

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • This movie is superb direction.
  • It requires a south director. Certainly one from north could not have made a movie like this.
  • I mean a north director could have made a movie but it would have been different to what this is presently.
  • Basically the movie is like a high speed train and we get to see it or be a part of it.
  • And just like Jailer the movie "takes off" quite fast.
  • 10 minutes into the movie and the plot seems to have advanced quite fast.

Equalizer 3

  • This movie was watched on big screen.
  • Denzel Washington has become like death personified.
  • Denzel has become like Grim Reaper or Azrael.
  • I can't help but remember this song.
  • In that song the duck becomes like death personified.
  • Actually the director has got all the power.
  • Cinema is nothing but "make believe".
  • If he can convince you that what you're watching is true his job is done.

Ertugrul, Re/Member, Retribution

Watched three more movies as mentioned above.

Ertugrul Season 5 Episode 139

  • Last I had watched till Episode 136
  • The series proceeds and sad scene is encountered when Ertugrul's nephew is killed by Albasti who is nothing but Mongols agent.
  • There are basically 5 parties in the conflict, Mongols, other Turkish tribes, Ertugrul tribe, Remnants of Seljuks, Remnants of Byzantine Empire
  • The struggle for foothold in Anatolia or Asia Minor in Early Middle Ages is real.
  • Worth watching.

Re/Member

  • This Japanese movie was watched on Netflix.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The creature effects are too good.
  • The stars of the movie are condemned to repeat the story until they get the details right that is shown in the movie.

Retribution

  • This Liam Neeson starrer movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Too good action.
  • Movie would have been shot without much effort and time but still it is classic.
  • It is set in Berlin but it could have been set in any modern city.
  • Worth watching once.
