Facebook or Job?

I sincerely feel that facebook is pure evil. It is a way to get you addicted and enable "push" technology on you.
I have deleted facebook and now do not even want to see it even once. But everywhere in many sites they are advertising about themselves. Even if I am visiting some other site the 'evil facebook' lurks around in the form of ads. I cannot think what is so interesting in that facebook.
I have told and will repeat that I am not at all interested in facebook or orkut or Hi5. It is only due to friends that they try to get you in. And once you are in there is no escape but fall in the trap. But I will point out that I had joined myspace on my own. Now due to facebook I have lost all interest in all the same kind of similar sites.
Orkut was popular in Brazil and India but facebook domination is seen around the world.
Now facebook deletes the account which post the uncovered portions of men and women. They also block friend requests for a person who sends too many friend requests and the users start "reporting" that they do not know the person. In essence one always remains a "slave" of facebook.
Let us also not forget the infamous marketing gimmick by facebook and their associates. They had launched a campaign in 2010 end with a site which was "Iwillnotusefacebook.com" or something like that. But fools didnt know when one is not knowing facebook why would one be interested in registering 'iwillnotusingfacebook' in the first place. Guess they are not fools but they are making everybody else as fools. The creators and propagators of facebook are highly clever intend on total domination of the world through their control of users.
I left my job in 2011. At that time my facebook account was inactive mode but after leaving job I began to use it. And till my not clearing certification in 1st attempt on August 2012, I was using facebook. What is important job or facebook? I feel job is more important. It gives you a sense of purpose and direction in life.
What does the facebook give? Nothing.
Rather facebook takes away all your productive time and makes you a slave of your computer or tablet or mobile. Also in facebook you have to operate within the limits set by facebook. And those limits is what enables the 'minority voice' to be 'squeezed out'.
When I lost my job, I made the mistake of using facebook. It had the tacit approval of my mother also. Actually in my native language Odia, some newspaper article had come praising the facebook. Also many members of my family were in facebook and active users. Then I began the use of facebook. My mother was in last stage of cancer and by using facebook I lost the opportunity to spend more time with her because at least 1-3 hours I used to be on facebook. Also, I found many employees of my earlier company were in facebook. I did not use it when I was working in my company. For me the job counted more.
Indians also are heavy users of facebook. They post their views and points in facebook.
To be looked at the mentality of Indians is visible. They feel they can dominate the World and United States by using a tool created in the United States, namely facebook.
In short story:
I had a facebook account, which was dormant. Then, I lost my job, then went into facebook, became heavy user. Lost many friends in a 'virtual world' due to my 'likes' not matching with them. (They simply unfriended me or blocked me and I never knew about it). Then deleted my account. During the same time my mother also passed away and I was also unsuccessful in finding a new job for myself.
Facebook is never beneficial to you, trust me. It is important to stay away from it.

Two more movies

I have watched two more movies. "Paranormal Activity 4". This movie just takes the scare and turns it topsy turvy. Well this movie makes it beyond scary. What it makes out is that you not need to fear silence and darkness and desolation. But you need to fear the crowds and gathering and congregation.
Similar one more movie I saw "Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag". Believe it or not I really liked this movie. The RGV guy also takes the concept and turns it around and gives something which is beyond the previous. What I mean to say, what is the need to compare it to Sholay. You watch the movie on its own merit and I felt it to be great. For RGV, case you can recollect Sarkaar and Sarkaar Raj. The movie also tuned the previous version topsy turvy. In this movie, RGVKA reality gets distorted and something beautiful happens.

Two new Movies

I have watched two new movies. "Bhag Milkha Bhag" and "Yamla pagla Deewana 2". Both movies try to get an 'interracial' fix for Indian audiences. The actors themselves get their interracial desires fulfilled through the movies.
Bhag Milkha Bhag was a movie I saw on the big screen and probably thats why it felt good. It is a pleasure to watch movies on the big screen. Watching on 14" laptop or 42" LCD is no match for a very huge multiplex screen. Also the audio system in the new multiplexes are really great. I guess one would be really blessed if one can watch all the new movies in that fashion.
Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 was on Videocon D2H.

Shaving and Meat

Going through wikipedia made me realise that there are two kinds of meat.
Actually I wanted to find out if Sikhs could consume beef and so I searched for the same in Google. That answer may be subject to research for another day but what I found out is pretty interesting.
Everyone knows that The Prophet (PBUH) has asked the men to grow the beards. "Grow the beards and trim the moustache". That is what the Islamic way says. They have mentioned that cutting the hair is allowed and even going bald. But the beard is something which should grow. Beard can be trimmed but it should be trimmed when it is "fist length".
Now Sikhism makes any hair = "Not to be removed".
Now where does meat come into the picture? Simple. Muslims eat "Halal meat". Now what is Halal meat. Halal meat is that meat which is got from an animal who is cut and is left to bleed till death. That meat makes it pure it seems for Muslims and Jews.
But I found out that Sikhs and Hindus eat the meat which is "Jhatka meat". It means that the animal is killed in an instant. Christians can eat both. That is what I understand.
Now as I understand (never witnessed one), Halal meat can be got through a slow process and "Jhatka" is 'instant'. Similarly, growing beard is a slow process. It takes minimum of 15 days to 1 month for visible beard to form. More for a bigger beard.
Shaving is 'instant'. The face becomes clean immediately. No need to wait for the hair to grow. Just as we brush the teeth or bath, shaving can be done as a routine.
So Hindus who (usually) shave prefer the "instant meat" and Muslims who by religion requirement have to grow beard need to also eat "Halal meat" for religious requirement.
A little diversion now, some people look good with beard but some don't. I feel people with round faces do not look so good with beard. People with slim faces look good with beard. I feel Morsi has a round face and Ahmedinijad has slim face. Similarly Paddy O'Connel (of BBC) has round face and I feel I also have a round face.
Also what I realised that more important than shaving is the cutting of hair. I actually got a Philips trimmer and day before yesterday I tried using it on my hair and it was not good. Actually it is far easier that someone else (preferably a barber) cuts your hair. Yourself giving yourself a haircut is extremely difficult if not impossible.
Last time for a month when I did not shave, I had two haircuts in the month. What I felt in the saloon is what defined me. I felt that the barber does not like the man with the beard. He may tolerate you but actually many people go for shaving to him. And he would not understand someone who will ask him to cut the hair real short but not allow him to touch the beard. It would not make sense to him. {I have been cutting my hair real short (such short that it cannot be gripped) ever since Class8 or 9 i.e. since I was 14 or 15 years old.} Thus last time when I grew beard (June 2013) I shaved myself on the very next day I had my haircut (which was my second haircut in the 1 month period of not shaving).

My Mom

The below is a write up on my mom which I wrote a few days following my mom's 12 days ceremonies were concluded on February 2012. I am reproducing it as it was written by me:

It has been a very tumultuous period for my mom. She was a very affectionate lady who gave her love and affection to anyone. She certainly did not deserve the trouble she went through. She was diagnosed with cancer in June 2009 after that it has been a bumpy ride for her. She breathed her last on 20^th January, 2012. She was 56 years old. Still she could survive more as per general standards.

But I am thankful to her. She gave me birth and brought me to this planet for which I am ever grateful and I would never be able to repay this deed in my entire life. Actually I am thankful to both my parents but my mom tolerated me very much. Firstly she kept me in her belly for nine months and then the task of upbringing me till I was able to take care of myself is a tremendous task. I can confirm that I was almost 20 years old when I could take care of myself. Hence for 20+ years she took care of me. Certainly I did not look after her for that long. I am very sad that she left me early and we did not get to spend more time with her.

All I remember that after my grandmother passed away, she was immersed in sorrow. My grandmother was one person who was liked by entire Sabat family and my mother was too much liked by my grandmother. Her death happened in June 2008 and following that my mother was very sorrowful. It has been well documented that being in sorrow or grief can lead to cancer. Unfortunately for my mother she got into a cycle of sorrow and regret which she could not get out of. When the cancer was detected it was already in advanced third stage. Chemotherapy sessions began and after recovery for few days the cancer used to get rebounded. Needless to say, without chemotherapy my mother may not have survived beyond six months.

In the meantime she worked hard and got me married in February 2010. God bless all who were involved in that task and helped her in that effort. I was doing job in Bangalore. In March 2011, my mother came to Bangalore and I am thankful to my father who brought her to Bangalore for treatment. I got to experience first hand the pain she was in. She had a tremendous will to survive and when chemos used to work she used to get happy. When those did not work she became sad and ‘cycle of sorrow’ returned. Later we came to Odisha in August 2011, and she was eager to return to her motherland.

Her desire was to visit holy places like Tirupati, Shirdi, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Puri and her hometown Berhampur and Jatni. She could visit Jatni for one last time before she got bedridden in August 2011 and was unable to move to Puri and Berhampur. She finally came to Berhampur when she was lifeless. She never was at peace in last six months of her life. But when the Lord Almighty gave her release she was finally at peace. It was as though she was resting peacefully and ‘in quiet’, the quietness which she never got when she was alive. In Berhampur when the ambulance arrived all people were waiting for her just as she wanted. She looked as though she was only sleeping. At times it felt that she was having conversation with the women who were surrounding her. Similarly while carrying her to the “shamshan ghat” along with chants of “Ram Nam Satya hai” and “Hari Nam Satya hai” it was as though she was smiling happy to be leaving for her heavenly abode to join her ancestors who blessed her to get relief from the pain she was in.

Cricket and Indians

I would like to say that Indians are fools when it comes to cricket. They can seriously *ck up your lives with the cricket.
In my native place almost all people starting from my grandfather's generation are crazy for cricket. Then the cricket madness carried on to my uncles and then to my cousins. And now recently I saw that my 10 year old nephew is also cricket crazy. IPL, T20 and the like are not helping it anyways. Popularity is growing and growing and it is like a "terror".
When India won the Semi final in 2011 against Pakistan, there were so many fireworks burst that it was crazy and same thing happened when India won the final against Sri Lanka. Those fireworks burst showed the Indian mentality.
Indians feel they win the world when they win the world cup. When they win a match against England or Australia they feel they defeated the countries of England and Australia. Fools they are. And it is this foolishness that makes me sick.
Like in Mumbai when I was at Churchgate station, when I was listening to FM radio music, a fool asked me if there was some match going on. He saw the fact that I was listening to radio and thought so.
It is visible in the metros like Mumbai; since cricket is of British origin, the people use to find out if you are pro-British or not. It is probably a legacy which follows hundreds of years of colonialism. If for example, earlier you had loyalties to France or Portugal or Dutch people you would get caught as you were not "pro-British".
But post Independence, the phenomena has gone crazy. Indians feel they are rulers of the world when they win the cricket matches.
It is okay that cricket obeys laws of physics. A ball which goes up has to come down (gravity). A man can jump only that much as is possible. But so do all other sports. These sports have to be done keeping the unique topography and physics of earth in mind. That does not make Indians or India the ruler of the earth if they win a match.
Like in Lagaan movie, Indians feel they will win everything if they win a match. And that is the Indian mentality.
I also feel that World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013 was fixed. Indian cricket is a rich party and it is hand in glove with the ICC. The reason they arrange IPL is to allow foreigners to visit 'India; and get a taste of "Indian summer" as IPL is held in summer. Foreigners especially Anglos (British origin folks) get the maximum benefit. Pakistan and Pakistani players have been definitely kept out for this reason only. As slots for foreign players are limited, it is logical to keep Pakistanis out so that those posts can be occupied by Westerners.
Also, with Chamipons Trophy Win the 'gullible Indian public' will be fooled to forget all about 'spot fixing' and match fixing in IPL. All players advertising contracts are also linked with the India team success. IPL outcome was also fixed. CSK lost because their owner person was caught during betting. Reliance owned Mumbai Indians won as Reliance is too rich and powerful and could twist the others into favourable outcome. IPL was also formed for this reason only. To encourage betting and fixing. Country matches can take their own course but these franchise matches can be fixed and manipulated.

Also as in my earlier post, I meant that democracy means the "rule of the majority". If there is majority rule then things would be taken care and the phenomena of 'end-time' could be dealt with better. Few hundreds or thousands ruling over millions is not the answer. Also, I am in favour of keeping religion away from politics. Practising religion is a private affair and people should not try to impose their own set of religious beliefs over the 'unwilling'. And in that sense cricket is like a religion in India and cricketers are like God and people i.e. the cricket fans 'impose' that on you. And that is what I hate. Also, I do not like armed agression and capturing power or imposing your will through force. Certain organisations like army or other religious organisations may be well organised but let us not forget the 'hapless public' who have no power and cannot organise themselves. For them the 'ballot' is the only weapon they got. 

The 'end-time'

Every person will approach an 'end-time'. It is that time when that person's relationship with this world cease to exist. This phenomena is called death. We know it is this phenomena which rules human destiny.
Empires have risen and fallen due to this. I would say that present day democracy which exists throughout the world has been made popular through death.
Earlier kingdoms and recent days dictatorships were present but if the ruler or main person dies what would happen to those structures. They would fall like a pack of cards. Democracy provides that buffer against death. If the ruler dies there is an elaborate system that the Govt. or country would not 'fall'. Democracy is like a 'shock absorber'. A total event which is not in the hands of humans , namely death, can be insulated by democracy.
Again what happens after death? Christians and Islamists are in the same ground. Christians go to the grave where they lie in eternal wait that their saviour Jesus Christ would return and lead them to the Kingdom of Heaven. I believe Muslims also have similar beliefs that 'Day of Judgment' will come and the righteous will be rewarded. Recently I saw one writing on the wall "For Christian there is no death, Jesus will give Eternal Life". How hollow is that. People make it imprinted in your mind that this is the only life you got. When you go below ground either in coffin (for Christians) or in 'white sheet', you start to decompose and in the end only bones remain. You become an archaeology figure.
Hindus,Buddhists and Sikhs cremate their dead and believe in rebirth (at least Hindus and Buddhists do). They also believe in Karma, i.e. 'as you sow so you reap' principle. Law of Karma they believe carries on to the next birth.
But people let us be reasonable. What if there is no rebirth? What if no big and massive "Day of Judgment" will come? But we know for certain that every person will die one day. When that person dies, "a private day of judgment" can take place. That is unique to that person and would be based on his character and deeds which he has done in his life. Based on that there may or may not be 'rebirth'. But my belief is that if you believe in 'karma'  you must also believe in 'rebirth'. But 'resurrection' or 'rising from graves' is stuff of movies like Zombieland and World War Z.
Best is to enjoy life as it is. But keep the best course of action in life. Good deeds can lead to something better.

Moon Landing Hoax

People,
Last month I watched video on YouTube regarding moon landing hoax.
I firmly believe so. And I also came to know about 20-30% of Americans believe that moon landings never happened. I also have become a firm believer of the same. For more detail you can search in YouTube regarding the same.
Sending unmanned satellite to moon and orbiting the earth are simpler. But sending manned spacecraft to moon and bringing those men back safely to earth is just not possible. It is the biggest hoax perpetrated by the US Govt. Subsequently, US Govt also lied about 9-11 and Iraq WMD's but that is another topic altogether.
Make this fact known to all your near and dear ones and also know it yourselves. 'Coz if you don't and then 'your end-time' comes, you may leave this earth thinking that man had gone to the moon which in fact he never did. Please do not go to your graves/leave earth believing a lie.
