Mobiles Phone I have used

My age is now 39 years and will complete 40 years this year.
In my entire life I have used only 14 mobiles.
Yesterday I got my new mobile Intex Cloud Tread and then decided to update this further.
I felt I should update this in a blog post and so this post.
First I saw a mobile being used in 1997 (age 20) in Cinema theater at Hyderabad.
I saw Hutch (Orange) billboards in Mumbai in 2000 year.
But I came to have a mobile in 2002 when talk time was too expensive (like 20 rupees per minute).
Large scale mobile use was seen only when I reached Chennai in 2002. Like I saw mobile ads in billboards. And the ever pervading influence became evident.
Now is the age of touch screen and smartphones.
I must say I never have used Pager and never seen large scale pager use in my life. But pager is technology where a person would be paged and he would call back perhaps using a landline that was before advent of mobiles.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Mobile No. 1
First mobile used was Nokia 3310. This the iconic mobile which they are planning to reintroduce.
I have used this from January 2002 till March 2002.
This was given by my father and I remember in one talk I consumed all the talktime and I have never recharged it. That was in 2002.
Then again used the same phone from June 2004 till April 2005.
When I came to Bengaluru in 2004 I took a GSM number (which I am still using today) and I inserted that SIM into this phone.
Current Status:
This phone was handed back to my father (April 2005) and it probably ended up as scrap and not in my possession anymore
Money Spent on the phone for Acquisition : NIL ( As was provided by my father)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Mobile 2
Second Mobile I used was Nokia 2280.

This I used from  January 2004 till June 2004.
This was a Reliance CDMA phone which my father gave to me. The phone came with the connection.
Current Status:
This phone was handed back to my father (June 2004) who gave it to my sister and water got inside it and it probably ended up as scrap and not in my possession anymore.
Money Spent on the phone for Acquisition : NIL ( As was provided by my father)
-------------------------------------------------------------------
 Mobile 3
Third mobile I have used was Sony Ericsson T230.
This mobile I ordered through Sify Shopping from Chennai.
I sent Cheque and they sent the phone.
Phone was very cute one. But no FM radio or Camera.
I used it from April 2005 till May 2007.
Current Status:
This phone was handed to my father (May 2007) and it probably ended up as scrap and not in my possession anymore.
Money Spent on the phone for Acquisition : Rs 6000 approximately.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Mobile 4
Fourth mobile was LG RD 6230
This phone also came along with Reliance CDMA connection.
I came to know that GSM Sim can be put in any phone. But CDMA phones were different and could only be activated or deactivated by the mobile company.
This phone had a camera and I clicked many pictures with it.
I handed it back to my father when he needed it back.
I was using it parallely with my GSM phone from August 2006 till January 2007
Current Status:
This phone was handed to my father (January 2007) and he used it for time but ultimately it probably ended up as scrap and not in my possession anymore.
Money Spent on the phone for Acquisition : NIL ( As was provided by my father). But for Activation I had to Pay money at Reliance World.
I will continue in another post.

Rock On 2, Terminator Genisys, Rangoon

Watched three movies as mentioned in the Subject line.
--------------------------------------------------------
Rock On 2
Had watched this movie way back in November but forgot to post about it. Movie was a casualty of demonetisation. It is okay for a one time watch I guess.
--------------------------------------------------------
Terminator Genisys
This movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
Like I had said Amazon Prime video is really nice as it is cheap and allows download so that you can watch at your liesure. Netflix has a bigger library or does it? I found more regional content in Amazon. And if subtitles are available for all titles than nothing like it.
As far the movie goes. John Connor has become the villian now. So it is like life has come full circle. Like the person who would save the human race against Skynet is now Skynet's best hope to rescue it.
--------------------------------------------------------
Rangoon
This movie was watched on big screen today. Actually I booked the ticket at one place Cinepolis mall in Banswadi but by mistake I reached Cinepolis ETA mall. No way I could have travelled from ETA Mall to Banswadi while the show was about to start so I bought new tickets and watched it.
Movie is okay for a one time watch. This movie is about "Desh bhakti" but what I feel the greatest gift of British Rule has been the gift of English language to India. As long as we are using English language to the max we continue to remains under the grip of history of British Rule.

Ishk Actually, Chal Guru Ho Ja Shuru, Jolly LLB 2, Maazi

Watched four movies as mentioned in the subject line:
--------------------------------------------------------
Ishk Actually
This movie was watched on Airtel Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive this month. Movie is too slow but still can be watched once without any problem.
--------------------------------------------------------
Chal Guru Ho Ja Shuru
This movie was watched on Airtel Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive this month. Movie is very good and worth watching. The movie is about Gurus or two unemployed persons turning into Guru as a business and having full enjoyment of the gullible public.
--------------------------------------------------------
Jolly LLB 2
This movie was watched on the big screen and it is worth watching. I will say it has elements of humour which may force people to take notice. If we had had a movie like "Shahid" which is serious then people would not have watched the message and message would not gone through. Ultimately the message has to reach the people and they should know what is right and wrong.
--------------------------------------------------------
Maazi
This movie was watched on Airtel Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive this month. Movie is very good and worth watching. The movie deals with a gangster family man who wants to be good but is drawn to his roots unwittingly.

Fever, Raees, Aamir

Watched three movies as below:
-------------------------------------------------------
Fever : This movie was watched on Airtel Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive this month. Movie is definitely okay for a one time watch. But why Gauhar Khan commits suicide by crashing her car to a truck is a mystery.
 -------------------------------------------------------
Raees : This movie was watched on the big screen. This movie is what every Muslim should hate. No wonder that this movie got banned in Pakistan. I feel movies like Jolly LLB 2 and Kaabil has shown Muslims in a better light than Raees.
I have always felt the Khan brigade (Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan) are very cunning and know how to keep both Hindu and Muslim fans under their feet so as to speak. They know how to deal with people from diverse backgrounds.
I will say this is a waste for a movie. If we compare recent movies perhaps Dangal was the best among the lot. That is what I felt.
-------------------------------------------------------
Aamir : This movie was watched on Airtel Miniplex HD Channel after recording on pen drive this month. Movie is definitely okay for a one time watch. This is also an anti-Muslim movie. There are few movies which show Muslims in a good light and that is sad I will say.

8 Movies Watched

Hi All people, So many months more than 2 months have passed and I did not post any latest movies watched. The thing is I was busy travelling and had gone to my native place where my Grandfather passed away. May his soul rest in peace.
But in the meantime I have watched some movies and those are as below:
-----------------------------
Raman Raghav 2.0 : This one was watched in December on Netflix. This movie is about a crazed serial killer and a drug addict cop who turns serial killer towards the end. Movie is okay for a one time watch.
-----------------------------
Footloose (2011) : This one was watched 2 days ago on HBO channel. This is a great movie. A Christian town takes all steps to ensure safety after some kids get killed in a car crash after party. Definitely enjoyable.
-----------------------------
Befikre : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in December. This movie is okay for a one time watch.
-----------------------------
Kaabil : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in January. This movie became a surprise hit. And I feel I know the reason why. The reason is that the world is in short of not only heroes but also villains. So the producer director manufacture villains out of thin air and then give space for the hero. Though it scenes which are not possible in real life, I feel all movies are like that. They show impossible things. So the best we can do is to leave our brain outside before watching a movie.
-----------------------------
Dangal : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in February. This movie is a nice one. Perhaps for the first time Aamir Khan takes a back seat in the movie and has given space to other actors to assume charge and that is commendable.
-----------------------------
Wajah Tum Ho : This one was watched on Amazon Prime video. It is just like Netflix but significantly cheaper. While Netflix charges Rs 500 per month, Amazon is Rs 500 per year. That is practical because when we are spending thousands on tata Sky and Airtel it makes no sense to pay thousands to Netflix and/or Amazon. They should be cheaper to have some value.
The movie is excellent. The heroine is too beautiful and this movie is rated "A" so there are few erotic scenes (but no nudity which is left to imagination) which are well shot I would say when you consider it is an Indian movie. The story is also revenge based so the heroine triumphs in the end at the cost of the villains.
-----------------------------
Kahaani 2 : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in December. This movie is okay for a one time watch. And also the villain gets killed in the end. That is a recurring theme in movies where the villain gets eliminated in the end and the hero and these days the heroine triumphs.
-----------------------------
Baar Baar Dekho : This one was watched on Amazon Prime video. This movie is very good. It shows time travel and alternate universe. But even for time travel and alternate universe fans it may be too much to digest. Also normal people would not get the plot and perhaps that is the reason for the movie not scoring well in the box office.
