Hi All people, So many months more than 2 months have passed and I did not post any latest movies watched. The thing is I was busy travelling and had gone to my native place where my Grandfather passed away. May his soul rest in peace.
But in the meantime I have watched some movies and those are as below:
-----------------------------
Raman Raghav 2.0 : This one was watched in December on Netflix. This movie is about a crazed serial killer and a drug addict cop who turns serial killer towards the end. Movie is okay for a one time watch.
-----------------------------
Footloose (2011) : This one was watched 2 days ago on HBO channel. This is a great movie. A Christian town takes all steps to ensure safety after some kids get killed in a car crash after party. Definitely enjoyable.
-----------------------------
Befikre : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in December. This movie is okay for a one time watch.
-----------------------------
Kaabil : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in January. This movie became a surprise hit. And I feel I know the reason why. The reason is that the world is in short of not only heroes but also villains. So the producer director manufacture villains out of thin air and then give space for the hero. Though it scenes which are not possible in real life, I feel all movies are like that. They show impossible things. So the best we can do is to leave our brain outside before watching a movie.
-----------------------------
Dangal : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in February. This movie is a nice one. Perhaps for the first time Aamir Khan takes a back seat in the movie and has given space to other actors to assume charge and that is commendable.
-----------------------------
Wajah Tum Ho : This one was watched on Amazon Prime video. It is just like Netflix but significantly cheaper. While Netflix charges Rs 500 per month, Amazon is Rs 500 per year. That is practical because when we are spending thousands on tata Sky and Airtel it makes no sense to pay thousands to Netflix and/or Amazon. They should be cheaper to have some value.
The movie is excellent. The heroine is too beautiful and this movie is rated "A" so there are few erotic scenes (but no nudity which is left to imagination) which are well shot I would say when you consider it is an Indian movie. The story is also revenge based so the heroine triumphs in the end at the cost of the villains.
-----------------------------
Kahaani 2 : This one was watched on the big screen in a multiplex in December. This movie is okay for a one time watch. And also the villain gets killed in the end. That is a recurring theme in movies where the villain gets eliminated in the end and the hero and these days the heroine triumphs.
-----------------------------
Baar Baar Dekho : This one was watched on Amazon Prime video. This movie is very good. It shows time travel and alternate universe. But even for time travel and alternate universe fans it may be too much to digest. Also normal people would not get the plot and perhaps that is the reason for the movie not scoring well in the box office.
