Tumblr, PinInterest and Facebook

Since I touched upon Twitter and Linkedin in earlier post, I will try to touch upon the other three which I am using namely, Tumblr, PinInterest and Facebook.
Tumblr : I have never deleted this account ever. This is great way to view images and GIF's. NSFW stuff is plenty. But one drawback I noticed you have no option to stop "autoplay of GIF's". They happen naturally. So what I feel that they will be consuming a lot of data. Much like Youtube or other websites which HD video at first loaded based on the Net speed they adjust the speed. In Twitter you can block all images as well as stop "autoplay of videos and GIF's"
PinInterest : This is great way to get knowledge and info but since there is 'no nudity clause' there will be less use by me.
Facebook : I will not open this account ever again and that is what I have decided because they do not allow nudity and they have the system of 'penalising users' who send unwanted Friend Requests or post 'objectionable content'.
By the way, Twitter also has a system issue when one tries to follow "too many people" in one shot. But it gets resolved in a day or two. It is not like Facebook which bans user for 15, 30 or 45 days altogether. Also while Twitter has a System issue, Facebook is more like a 'punishment doler'. Just like teachers punish us in young times like "stand up on the bench" or "kneel down", similarly Facebook punishes its users.

Twitter and Linkedin

I must tell that I have restarted accounts with Twitter and Linkedin. There are reasons for the same and I will try to outline them below:
Twitter
I get up at around 7 AM and then cleaning lady comes to our house at 7:30. So I have about 30 minutes to do stuff. Maybe read the paper or watch TV channels or go through Internet. What I mean to say there is just not enough time to do something worthwhile.
So one day I began browsing "nudes" at Google images. Then one link led to a Twitter user page which was "protected". It was an image off a 'shemale'. Thus I opened the Twitter account to access the 'protected account'.
But then it is not that easy to access the page is it. So I began searching for other images on Twitter. Ones whose accounts are not protected. "Images of shemales" but those were a little hard to come by. But there were and are plenty of nude images of ladies. Yes naked women and nude selfies were plenty.
Then I began to follow many such pages. Then since I have associated with Twitter for long (though I have kept deleting the accounts), I began following other pages, ones with Politics or with photography.
Then what happened the NSFW stuff and SFW stuff collided and it became a clutter. Since I was primarily using it in smartphone, I saw that there is a feature to add another account. So I used my other Email ID to create another account and then I made that account purely NSFW and the SFW account was different. The SFW account was where I followed celebrities, WWE, TNA, News and politicians among others. And the NSFW account was where I got my dose of the nudity available on the Internet for which the Internet is so popular.
Linkedin
Linkedin is for building a career network. I went back my history and realised that after MBA I worked with Wipro and then when they did not give the support or recognition I deserved I left and then did SAP-FI course with NIIT. It was my luck that NIIT and SAP disassociated themselves when I completed the SAP course and so I was left without getting posted to any job.
Then a branch office of my father was opened but at the end of 2015 it was shut down. So now I am stuck without any worthwhile job and any job will prove good to be me. I hope Linkedin helps me find the same.

Peabody and Sherman, Tamasha, Fitoor

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.
Peabody and Sherman : Watched this movie on Tata Sky Showcase channel. Movie is too good and worth watching.
Tamasha : Watched this movie on Tata Sky Showcase channel. Movie is too good and worth watching at least once. In this movie they have shown that 'real life' is a Tamasha and we should try to find our 'inner self' and ensure that even if it is a 'Tamasha' (or show) it should come from our hearts.
Fitoor : Watched this movie on Tata Sky Showcase channel. Only after watching twice or thrice I could get the essence of the movie and then realised it is too good.

Museum Fire

Today morning I saw the news that a massive fire has destroyed the National Museum of Natural History at New Delhi at posh area right where prime Govt. property exists.
I will say that this is the handiwork of the present ruling elite which is the Neo Nazis and Hindu fundamentalist Govt. of BJP and RSS (Riot Sevak Sangh).
They are anti-science and anti-Scientific. For people like them it is horrific that such a museum exists. They are also working for Congress mukt Bharat which means India free from all vestiges of Congress. Now I read that this museum was established by India Gandhi. And hence this is what is meant by Congress mukt Bharat. They will destroy this vestige which was not Congress related but scientific related.
For them Science does not matter. It would not be surprising if they decide to give this museum property to Baba Ramdev or Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to propagate Hindu ideals which is wrong.
As India is a secular democratic Republic.  Not a destructive narrow minded country which destroys progressive and scientific outlook and imposes anarchy and blind belief.

Surkhaab, Dhoondte Reh Jaoge, In the Heart of The Sea

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line
Surkhaab : Was watched on Tata Sky Miniplex Channel. I liked the movie for the actress and since there are no actual adult scenes in the movie, it is only left to the imagination what could have been.
Wow she became a Nun
Dhoondte Reh Jaoge : Was watched on Tata Sky Miniplex Channel. I liked the movie for the comedy. Basically it is like Hollywood spoof movie where they take big blockbuster movies and then take few scenes from them and make it as comedy. In this movie they have taken Lagaan, Gadar, Sholay, Mr.India to name a few and made a full comedy movie.
In the Heart of The Sea : This movie was watched on Tata Sky Showcase HD Channel. Too good a movie. Supposedly this is a true story and Moby Dick novel was written from this story.
Few takeaways from the movie:
  • Just like these days people go after petroleum oil, in those days also people went after "whale oil".
  • It was before discovery of petroleum and before steam engine and "gold rush". It was before 'west was conquered'.
  • It shows how the communication improved in the world slowly and slowly and hats off to the pioneers who went to "unknown parts".
  • Sailors risked their lives and there was no guarantee they would survive a sea journey and return home alive.
  • Since Panama Canal is a recent development, we can imagine just how the need would have arisen for the same. Sailors from the US would have sailed all around South America only to realise that it was better to park their ships on the other side of the ocean and return by land and get on another boat. We can fit this story in other parts of the world as well like Asia and Africa.
  • Thus what we can conclude that people would have been required to guard those ships and ports and then "military would have been required" to guard the bases. These bases would then have become a "necessity" rather than an "imperialistic mindset". It would take brains to understand this.
  • So what we can say, what Britain and US among others accomplished by capturing territories through military is nothing short of a miracle. It is due to the efforts of hundreds of thousands of braveheart men.
  • Some brutal things like "people dying of hunger in remote islands after getting shipwrecked" and survivors resorting to cannibalism in raft boats also shown.
  • Money and promotion were also important in those days it is shown.

Philips Aquatouch

Last week I was downloading a WWE event from a website and then a pop-up ad came about for Philips Aquatouch shaver.
Those ads are being shown on TV for more than a year and I do know that.
Also I have been confused whether to keep the moustache or beard or both and so on.
But when I used trimmer to make my beard 2 mm what I found that boils happen and leave a mark on the cheek.
But clean shaving will eliminate the occurrence of boils provided we shave everyday.
This boil happens due to organisms known as Demodex.
Thus how to go about it?
Since I was not interested to shave using razor. Also razors leave nicks and cuts which makes the face look like one with scars what was the solution?
The solution is Aquatouch from Philips.

When I went to Philips website I found out that Amazon and Flipkart supply the Philips Aquatouch machine. So after some deliberations, I went ahead and ordered the Philips Aquatouch model S5050/06. There were other models but I found lesser price models were not as good as this one and expensive ones there was one more which was almost Rs 2000 more. After discount this model S5050/06 came to about Rs3800 while the other model S5420/06 was almost Rs 5700.
Only these two models came with the "swivel head" which I personally feel is revolutionary.
The earlier models were "fixed" heads.
Thus I will say with this new shaver you can say "Makes Shaving Great again" just like the Trump slogan "Make America great again".
But let me reiterate that shaving is still a personal decision and one should not be forced to either shave or not shave. It depends from person to person.
Girls can also shave it is nothing bad. Now a days men and women are equal in all aspects. Women also go to "lengths" to get rid of the unwanted hair. So why not shaving. It is a simple procedure of shaving with Philips Aquatouch. It takes less than a minute to actually shave using the Aquatouch and you feel sophisticated using this machine. With a razor you feel you are "scraping a bit of yourself" and "several movements are involved" and it takes 5-10 minutes.
I will say even a 18-20 year old should go for this Philips Aquatouch.
But finally whether one shaves or not is a personal decision.
It is also a question of hygiene and whether one wants to give 'organisms like Demodex' a 'free run' or 'make it is a struggle for them'. Because if you shave daily these organisms will be pushed out of the body again and again.
I tried keeping a little bit of patch like a "French cut" but what I found that there was a little bit of irritation around the neck. So I have gone for the full shave and the photo is as above.
Let us see what happens going forward. But the machine is very good.
Another motivation was that in the movie "New years Eve", I saw Hillary Swank flip a switch for the "ball release" at Times Square and the switch had Philips written over it. So it is but obvious that we can rely on a Philips product.

Race, Jugni, Fan

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.
What I did that I unsubscribed from the Airtel Miniplex HD Channel but recording facility is still on on Airtel. They take Rupees 75 per month for Miniplex HD and Rs 33 for Recording.
Then I have subscribed for Mininplex HD on Tata Sky. Mind you Tata Sky box is without recording. What I though let me watch "live TV movie" and not recording.
Just the "hope of recording and watching" does not materialise into actually watching. Thus in a case like this recording function has no use. It is better to 'take out some time' and watch movie live when it is being shown on the channel.
I may still use recording function during certain occassions or I can still record other channels part of my package like Zee Cinema HD or Star Gold HD among others or I can record sports events like WWE pre show or live events being shown at odd times.

Race : Watched this on Tata Sky Miniplex HD channel. I liked it.
Jugni : Watched this on Tata Sky Miniplex HD channel. I liked it.
Fan : Watched this on the big screen. I will suggest no need to waste your hard earned money and watch it on the big screen. You can catch it later on TV or watch on DVD. This movie is for die hard Shah Rukh Khan fans only. Shah Rukh Khan the shrewd person that he is has tried to use the "sympathy factor" to his advantage. He has become a star using this 'sympathy wave'. What happens that when Shah Rukh Khan "dies off" on screen, the viewers are left with sympathy towards him and then he becomes popular. He has become popular using these methods in Darr and Baazigar amongst others. Thus again when he is close to 55 years he has tried the same method. But I hope that audience is able to see the tricks of "This Khan brigade" Shah Rukh Khan included and then decide for them. Not only Shah Rukh Khan but the entire Khan brigade, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan use these tactics.
