Ek Ladki Ko Dekha to Aisa Laga, The Wife, Escape Room, Gully Boy, Alita

Watched five movies as mentioned above
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha to Aisa Laga
  • This movie was watched at PVR, Vega City Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • In any other country this movie would have been a comedy movie. But in India this is serious movie and makes you cry.
  • You are not sure if you will support it or not.
  • Plus they have done the setting in a very orthodox community in heart of Punjab state.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The Wife
  • This movie was watched at PVR Vega City Mall
  • I liked the movie.
  • It is a very traditional story.
  • A shadow writer who happens to be the wife of famous writer.
  • The powerful portrayal makes it worthwhile I gusee.
  • Okay to be watched once.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Escape Room
  • This movie was watched at PVR, Vega City Mall.
  •  This movie I liked.
  • Edge of the seat thriller and deserves a sequel no doubt about it.
  • It is like Saw or Hostel series but not that gore and graphic according to me.
  • This movie you can watch with your family I felt.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Gully Boy
  • This movie was watched at Vega City Mall.
  • This is made like an English movie.
  • I felt the guy who played MC Sher did a very good role.
  • Worth watching according to me.
  • Good timepass to know how rap scene is in India.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Alita
  • This movie was watched at Carnival Cinemas.
  • I liked the movie.
  • That Alita is like any girl we know.
  • It is good Hollywood is making more and more movies with women centered heroes.
  • Because women are two spokes of the human race.
  • A car runs on four wheels and if two wheels don't run, human race cannot progress.
  • Alita movie is full of special effects and sequel is coming.
  • Cannot wait as to how things will turn out.

One more False Flag Operation

  • This post is titled as "One more False Flag Operation".
  • And people you know what I am talking about.
  • That is Phulwama Blast.
  • I am inclined to say that this was no handiwork of the enemy or the "so called enemy"
  • This was an "insider job".
  • And people were sacrificed for that. Like "Bali ka Bakras" means "Sacrifical lambs"
  • People who were the Paramilitary forces.
  • Now I will further say that there was even no car bomb involved.
  • That itself is false news spread all over the world.
  • The blast happened inside of the bus where the people were seated.
  • It means there is very likelihood that explosives were loaded in the bus itself and they were triggered by timer or switch.
  • It could be the same explosives that the CRPF foces were told to carry.
  • Some "insider" created the blast.
  • Even if we assume that a car bomb was used which is not the case it would still be an insider job.
  • Some people inside of the BJP Govt elements did it deliberately.
  • Why? You may ask.
  • It is because BJP Govt. is failing in all fronts.
  • People are very much suffering under their rule.
  • They want end to the torture and the misery and not just in Kashmir. It is everywhere in India.
  • So they use their NSA Ajit Doval to engineer a blast so that people will get enraged and feel "patriotic" and BJP is such kind of patriotic that any soft corner for Kashmiris or Pakistanis will be termed as "Deshdrohi" or "illegal activity".
  • Thus the society will get polarised and people will feel that only BJP can protect them.
  • And in 2019 there will be elections and BJP will be back with thumping majority.
  • In reality it is opposite.
  • The most powerful of the bunch of people are suffering the most under BJP and that is the "Armed Forces".
  • Inspite of being "Armed" they are under attack and that too from an inside element.
  • The truth is BJP is responsible for the blast as it happened under "their watch".
  • But actually let it be known and heard and broadcasted that in BJP Govt no one is responsible for anything.
  • No one will ever resign for anything.
  • No one will ever say that "The Buck stops here".
  • They are just a bunch of people who are busy in looting the country and sucking it dry.
  • And helping certain big corporate in the process.
  • And even if enquiry will be done. They will never cooperate.
  • No external or internal or international inquiry will ever be done or evidence produced.
  • Such is the kind of haughtiness and false sense of bravado of BJP and India under BJP.

Cricket vs Football vs Hockey vs Wrestling

Cricket vs Football vs Hockey vs Wrestling
  • Hockey World Cup was held in Bhubaneswar in 2018.
  • At that time itself I wanted to post something like this.
  • According to me, Hockey is a violent game.
  • Players come "armed" with hockey sticks.
  • Though there are strict rules but the very nature is disturbing.
  • Once the match commences, it may not appear that violent but that is another story.
  • Now football is the most glorious game.
  • Football is most popular in Europe which has seen the horrors of war in First World War and Second World War.
  • What was needed was a game which is total "anti-thesis" of war.
  • No hands are used and players are "unarmed", those who assault are thrown out after warning (Red card and yellow Card)
  • Also violent countries of South America and Middle East and Africa also have Football as the most popular game.
  • Football as a game is also very easy to play.
  • Just a ground and football and you're on.
  • Now cricket is a complex game.
  • Cricket involves batsman and bowlers and fielders.
  • The act of getting out in cricket is like "death in real life".
  • And one who plays well at the crease is 'successful in life'.
  • One who also gets a wicket is also successful.
  • And the team works to defeat the opposition.
  • It is like a mini war.
  • And test matches are actually "test of endurance".
  • Compared to football outcome comes in 90 minutes of play.
  • Hockey outcome comes in 60 minutes.
  • A "test match" in cricket can last for days.
  • Cricket game also comes with their own set of "armed and unarmed" people.
  • Batsman are 'armed' with bat and covered with protective gear. Bowler has a "ball" like "grenade which does not explode".
  • And fielders are unarmed.
  • Wrestling involves individual feat of endurance and physical strength and agility.
  • And there is also "tag team" and "triple teams" in professional wrestling.
  • After analysing as above, I must conclude that each game has its own merits and demerits and no game can be criticised as such.
  • When I began writing this post my intention was to prove football is the best.
  • But now I am not so sure.
  • All the games have their own fan following and can be enjoyed by their die-hard fans.
  • And people can love all the games also or two games or three games.

Thackeray

  • Watched the above movie at PVR, Vega City Mall.
  • This is nothing but an effort to whitewash the image of Bal Thackeray.
  • Like Sanju movie which whitewashed the character of Sanjay Dutt.
  • But certain scenes in history have been replicated well enough.
  • I will list those below:
    • Belgaum agitation
    • Agitation for Single Maharashtra (including Bombay city)
    • Agitation against South Indians
    • Agitation for employment of Maharashtrians in jobs at Mumbai and in other places of Maharashtra.
    • Elimination of Communists as a force in Mumbai.
    • Aligning with Congress for the same purpose (defeating Communists in elections).
    • War with Janata Party post 1977 elections.
    • Ram Temple agitation.
    • Bombay Bomb blasts.
    • Riots with the collusion of Police where mobs of Shiv Sena were systematically ignored.
    • Then supposedly Balasaheb went to pacify the crowds as he himself answers in court whether he has a "hand in riots". He says he has "foot" because he himself visited riot affected areas by foot to pacify the "murderous mobs" who were like monsters created by him and his organisation and had 'tasted blood' and only he could pacify them.
    • He is shown offering his house/ room to Muslim people for "Namaz" or prayer. That maybe true I think, maybe it may have happened once if not more times.
    • Plot to kill him and those who came to kill him were systematically tortured by police that is shown.
    • Shiv Sena won the elections in 1995 and formed State Govt in Maharashtra that is shown.
    • He is also giving speeches in Muslim areas that when India-Pakistan cricket match happens not to burst crackers if Pakistan wins.
    • He also admits that he wants to Hitler not only of Mumbai but of Maharshtra and India.
    • And then when elections victory comes, Manohar Joshi becomes CM.
    • It is not shown why Thackeray did not become CM. Though he wanted to be Hitler..
    • But the director dwells on it and then ends the movie with "To be Continued" in the end.
    • Now will there be a sequel showing Thackeray old age.
    • I do not think so. Maybe he did not want to show "the End". But even if sequel is there I feel there is nothing much to show. Most of the history that has been shown which matters.
    • Also dumping of oil on cricket pitches and digging up to prevent India Pakistan matches is shown.
    • Also meeting with Dilip Vegsarkar and Javed Miandad is shown where he rejects cricket with Pakistan.
    • Guess present BJP Govt is following in footsteps of Balasaheb Thackeray which is bad.

Thugs of Hindustan

Watched the movie as mentioned above
---------------------------------------------------------------
Thugs of Hindustan
  • This movie was watched on Amazon Prime Video.
  • This movie was not up to the mark.
  • No wonder it deserved the fate it got.
  • The movie resembles Aamir Khan movie when he came to industry initially.
  • He used to sign films left right and center.
  • And in one earlier movie (I do not recollect the name but I am sure Google will have the answer) there was a scene where he went to some tribal area and then there were cannibals and then solar eclipse came and he and other people escaped by making it appear as magic.
  • Then I had seen one interview where he told that "I made the mistake that I used to only read script and accept the movie" but then he had modified and saw the background of the producers and directors as well as script before the movie.
  • I am talking about early 1990's dear people.
  • And in another movie "Mela" with his brother Faisal Khan he was a truck driver and could not stop and so did piss in a bottle and Johny Lever, the cop pulled him over and drank that thinking liquor and enjoyed it.
  • Thugs of Hindustan is such kind of movie.
  • Maybe they should have stuck to history like Manikarnika movie then the movie would have been great.
  • Instead they showed some crazy things which the audience found unbelievable and gave Aamir the boot.
  • It is slapstick movie and China public also rejected it.
  • I think Aamir Khan got carried away by watching too many Chinese Martial Arts movies.
  • And showed the Western man as villian which is common theme in Indian and Chinese historical movies.
  • But the movie bombed and I guess it serves them right.
  • The people making movies cannot take people watching movies as granted.
  • Sooner or later they will teach them a lesson.
  • Also I agree with KRK review that Amitabh Bachchan has been shown as a powerful warrior who rescues the princess.
  • If he was such brave why could not he prevent the kingdom takeover by East India Company in the first place.
  • Amitabh Bachchan has done a good performance.
  • Also the actual thugs were land based and not sea based as shown. If sea based then they would have been pirates. Guess they should have stuck to history.

The Accidental Prime Minister

Watched the above movie as mentioned in the subject line.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Accidental Prime Minister
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Koramangala
  • I liked the movie.
  • I will say the movie has thrashed all the leaders including BJP and not just Congress ones.
  • But the movie is not disrespectful towards Sonia Gandhi I felt.
  • And the movie shows Narendra Modi as the Messiah.
  • The so called Messiah who will lead his people to the promised lands.
  • And in that case this movie is like a "propaganda movie".
  • The movie is most disrespectful towards Dr Manmohan Singh who lead the country for 10 years and that is sad.
  • It is bad situation for the country while the leader who lead the country at times of hatred and instability for 10 years gets treated like this while Pranab Mukherjee was awarded Bharat Ratna.
  • Dr Manmohan Singh is more deserving of Bharat Ratna than any other present leader.
  • Several situations are covered in the movie.
  • (Spoiler Alert)
  • Naveen Patnaik has also been shown in the movie and treated like subordinate to PM whereas in actuality CM is as important as PM I think.
  • Communists leaving Govt is shown. When they oppose the Nuclear deal.
  • Narsimha Rao being denied funeral and resting place in Delhi is shown.
  • Radia tapes are shown.
  • Anna Hazare protests are shown.
  • The movie also brushes off as a joke where notional loss and actual loss in terms of 2G and Coalgate is shown
  • That is bad for the country because the BJP came to power riding on a crest of so called scams of Coal, 2G and Commonwealth games.
  • But in reality there was no scam.
  • The coal was never extracted.
  • 2G was a scam in sense at what rate the 2G Spectrum could have been sold. Now when 4G has come and 5G is coming it is even bigger scam if people are prosecuted based on 2G.
  • Commonwealth games was actually held and it was a big respect for India.
  • Also World Cup of Cricket was held.
  • But BJP propaganda will portray those as scams.
  • BJP is actually looting the country where black money of their own people was conveniently converted to white using "Demonetisation" as a tool.
  • Everything in whatever BJP does is a scam including the "Swach Bharat Abhiyan" or "Giving Gas Cylinder connection" and so on.
  • Words will not suffice as to how corrupt and morally depraved the BJP Govt is.
  • Coming back to the movie.
  • The movie deals with the events leading up to the release of the book "The Accidental Prime Minister"
  • And since the book is named as thus, this movie is actually a movie on the book or movie on the events leading to the publication of the book.
  • The consequence of the release of the book that Dr. Manmohan Singh never met Sanjay Baru the writer ever again.
  • How could he? Obviously being PM comes with its own sets of perks and Sanjay Baru extinguished the prospect of Dr Manmohan Singh becoming Pm again by publishing this book which defamed his boss PM or "ex-boss".

Manikarnika-Queen of Jhansi

Watched the movie as mentioned in the subject line.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Manikarnika-Queen of Jhansi
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum Mall.
  • It is too good movie.
  • I am inclined to rate it 5 Star.
  • This is perhaps the best movie of Kangna till date.
  • Danny Denzogpa is also such a good actor. He has got a role of lifetime. I do not understand why he does not get more roles in Bollywood like he used to in 1980's and 90's.
  • She has proved that a slice of history can be captured perfectly if right effort is made.
  • This movie deserves to be the biggest blockbuster of all time.
  • It will also do well in overseas market especially China if right marketing is done.
  • The history of Rani of Jhansi is captured quite perfectly.
  • We have read about her in books but only we get to see her come to life in this movie.
  • (Spoiler Alert)
  • She is Brahmin by birth not Kshatriya and adopted by the Maratha King.
  • She does not lead her son to battle carrying on her back as we imagined.
  • Her (adopted) son died post 50 years completion (old age for that time).
  • Her actual son and husband are poisoned by own people.
  • She leads Jhansi as widow (breaking custom) (widows are supposed to retire).
  • Her resistance as Jhansi proves futile and ultimately she leaves while Jhansi is laid to waste by the victors.
  • She goes to Gwalior and there she leads the Army and dies in battle.
  • Thus she does not die in Jhansi like we imagined.
  • The Gwalior resistance was like a "rebellion" as the King of Gwalior is a "compliant bitch" to the British.
  • We can safely say that whatever resistance was there to British from the Kings and Queens of Indian subcontinent was effectively ended in 1857-58 Rebellion.
  • The Kings and Queens who existed in India post 1857-58 till Independence if India were "Compliant Bitches" or "Puppet Regime" of the British.
  • It is also amazing while Tipu Sultan is controversial and Hindu Extremists are protesting against him, basically Rani of Jhansi and Tipu Sultan were one and the same.
  • They resisted the British and Rani of Jhansi is universally accepted while Tipu Sultan is protested which should not be.
  • What Rani of Jhansi did in 19th Century, Tipu Sultan did in late 18th Century.
  • The British deposed Tipu Sultan and put a "Compliant Bitch Ruler" or "Puppet Regime" in his place as the ruler of Mysore State.
  • Post 1857-58, the job of getting Independence for India was now left to Civil Society and mass movement and Kings and Queens were like "Napunsak" or ineffective to get rid of British Rule.
  • In such case this movie is like a masterpiece as it gives us chance to ponder over our history.
  • If Rani of Jhansi was not that fierce as shown in the movie (perhaps she was more than what is shown we do not know) her legend would not have lived on like it has.
