• The reason this BJP Govt chose August 5 as the date when Article 370 was abrogated is because that is the same date in the year 1965 when Pakistan sent its "irregulars" to Kashmir for "Operation Gibraltar".

• "On 5 August 1965 between 26,000 and 33,000 Pakistani soldiers crossed the Line of Control dressed as Kashmiri locals headed for various areas within Kashmir. Indian forces, tipped off by the local populace, crossed the cease fire line on 15 August"

• The Wikipedia article also mentions that at that time, the local Kashmiri populace gave away the locations of the infiltrators. "tipped off by the local populace"
• Now the Kashmiri people must be regretting the decisions of their forefathers.
• They must be thinking at the time it would have been better to do otherwise.
• They got *ucked by India really bad over the decades and even more now with just what happened in August 5, 2019.
• What has become of India.
• It has become like a blood sucking vampire surrounding the Kashmiris.

• If we listen to Lal bahadur Shastri address he was not "overtly Hindu" but placed emphasis on all religion and peoples. And that was in 1965.
• Now in 2019 if such kind of regressive thinking can happen in Indian leadership just think where the world is headed.
