- This post is to highlight that you need to use the right shoe for walking.
- If you are comfortable using walking shoes or running shoe it is okay and you can continue using the same.
- But for case like me, I find use of running shoe or walking shoe constricts the foot.
- The foot gets squeezed and blood circulation reduces and leads to pains due to affect of nervous systems (veins around the foot).
- So what you need is the use of cotton or fabric shoes or sandals.
- You cannot use flip-flops as they will come out easily while walking.
- Walking is the most simple form of exercise.
- Daily walking of at least 40 minutes is required to keep your body and mind healthy.
- If you do more severe exercise you are good.
- But if you do not do any exercise at least you should walk.
- So now if you use sandal for walking you need to pick the right sandal for walking.
- Any shoe you use should not wear out from inside.
- If it has worn out from inside you need to get rid of the shoes. And time to get a new pair.
- Similarly for sandal. It should not get worn out from inside.
- It should provide a firm support to your feet and in turn to your body.
- I have personally used this sandal for walking for perhaps more than 2 year.
- Yes people I have found Decathlon perfect when you want to buy sports related equipment or accessories.
- Recently in the month of May (16th to be precise) I bought another pair of sandal from Decathlon. It was this one.
- Notice the difference between the two models.
- The one I had been using for 2 years has the strap at behind of the foot above the heel bone.
- The second one which I bought in May has the strap above the foot near the navicular bone.
- What I am trying to say is that the strap has to be at the right spot to be a perfect sandal.
- And the right spot is behind the foot above the heel bone.
- Why you may ask?
- It is because the very reason I am not wearing shoes while walking and that is constriction of the foot.
- In the case of sandal where the strap is on top and the rear portion is fixed there is not much scope for the feet to expand and it would lead to pain in the foot especially the heel.
- You don't want to experience the heel pain. It is painful.
- I learned the hard way.
- So what I want is for all of you not to go through the pain and learn the hard way.
- Better to buy a sandal which has the strap on the rear of the foot above the heel bone and that will give flexibility to your feet and while you walk your feet will get "freedom of movement".
- That will avoid getting it constricted and you will enjoy the benefits of doing walking as exercise.
