I will say that a person who clean shaves himself is bringing nothing but ruin upon himself and his near and dear ones. Because the ruin is starting from his face. Morning he gets up and shaves. Thus he begins the day with a 'ruin kind of event' which may get compounded in time. And by person we mean man because a woman does not need to shave.
There is a term knows as "Ujde hue Chaman" and few comedians like Razak Khan have used it certain times like "Abbey ujde hue chaman".
I will say that men who shave become 'ujde hue chaman'.
It is important that men preserve their natural look and that is with beard. That is how the Creator intended it to be. Man is defying his own creator when he starts to shave.
I will say with beard at least the mans face is safe. No one can accuse him of bringing ruin to his face at least. Rest of the things we leave it to karma. And the saying "As you sow, so you reap".
There are people who live without beard and they are the womenfolk. A man does not need to compete with a woman for beauty. Women are naturally beautiful.
The 'so called beauty' of a man can only come from a beard. Man was made to exist with a beard.
I fully agree that the beard needs to be "full". One should neither trim it or shave it near the neck and cheekbones. But one may shave the moustache but only the upper lip portion. Thats what I think ought to be.
A beard should be 'in entirety'. And this I have realized after more than one year of trying out different permutations and combinations of facial hair.
I have tried moustache, french cut, mutton chops, clean shaven, just trim among others.
I feel that one should either be completely clean shaven or one should have the beard. And if one opts to be completely clean shaven one should shave daily. There should not be any excuse for not shaving.
But if one opts for a beard, I feel one can connect with ones creator as well as one does not need to put an effort to shave daily. I will say shaving is an effort and takes 10 minutes of your life on a day to day basis. Not to mention the nicks and cuts which can happen if you are not using a perfect blade.
If you keep a beard you will notice after two-three weeks of growth it feels smooth. But if you trim it, it will satay rough. Daily shaving can keep your face smooth.
