Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Style

Watched two movies as mentioned above.
Oye Lucky Lucky Oye
This is an excellent movie. It has come out much before "Special 26" but it has been the sort of pioneer of that movie. The story is about a thief and he gets caught in the end. They have tried to make it "geographically correct" which is appreciable.
Style
This is a 2001 movie and I just cannot believe that this movie is that good.
They should have come about with a sequel for this movie. It is that good. Like classics like "Raffoo Chakkar" or "Khiladi" or "Golmaal" and so on, this should get cult status. I just cannot believe that the hero of the movie one is Sharman Joshi and the other one Sahil Khan did not get famous. He is definitely star material and is cross between all the three major Khans namely Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
This movie is not "geographically correct" means they have shot in Goa and mentioned it as Madh island and so on. But it is shot in several locations Goa, Mahabaleshwar, Mumbai, Hyderabad Ramoji Fim City and so on.

Syrian War Jewish Connection

This blog post is for the Syrian War Jewish Connection.
  • As we know Jews are the people of Israel.
  • Britain France and post World War Germany are all working in favour of Israel.
  • USSR and present Russia are also working for the favour of Israel.
  • That is because there are many Russian Jews in Israel and they have a shared history against Anti-Semitism propagated through Nazi Germany.
  • United States and Royal families of Arab States are also supporting Israel.
  • Israel is also in favour of Shias. And Shias and Israel have reached a secret understanding as well.
  • Now we come to the question who is against the Israels and the Jewish people?
  • When almost all people are in favour of Israel who is against them?
  • And those are people who try to be the leader of the Muslims.
  • Israel has realised that when the Muslims remain divided and weak it has the most to gain.
  • Earlier Great Britain was a colonial power and it used its Indian territories to recruit Indians to fight in the Middle East against the Ottomon Empire.
  • Not only in Middle East but all over the world soldiers from the Indian subcontinent were used.
  • Main areas include North Africa and Europe.
  • But the maximum Indian soldiers were used in Middle East.
  • Simultaneously Britain made its policy to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine.
  • Subsequent discovery of oil and importance of petroleum implied that client states in Arab areas will help a lot to countries of Europe and North America.
  • Thus the Arab royal families were made the rulers.
  • When Saddam Hussein invaded Iraq it became a shock for the US and Britain and France.
  • Their own person turned against another state which was backed by them like in miltary conflict with Iraq during Iran-Iraq war..
  • But Saddam was of military origin and not Royal lineage and that implied that he would in future could even invade Saudi Arabia.
  • Or when he got more powerful he would have targetted Israel itself.
  • Israel being the baby of the West could not be attacked and needed to protected at all costs even if it meant genocide in Iraq and that is what happened.
  • Now the creation of the ISIS also favours Israel.
  • As long as one faction fights the other, Muslims are getting reduced in number.
  • That is leading to depopulation of a vast stretch of area between the Mediterranean Sea and Iraq.
  • Iraq is a well endowed country as it is blessed with a river valley of Tigris and Euphrates which since ancient times have sustained Civilizations.
  • And it should be known that just like earlier Britain had made its policy to the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, now it has made its purpose to make the whole area which is called "Levant" as a Jewish area.
  • In BBC I have seen programs where Britain has stressed that right upto Baghdad is what is the traditional "homeland" of the Jews.
  • Also one anchor had told that in 1930's Baghdad had a majority Jewish population.
  • They have also created "ISIS" or "ISIL" which is not 'Islamic State of Iraq and Syria/Levant' but is actually "Israeli Special Intelligence Service" or "Israeli Special Intelligence Logistics".
  • That can be known from their modus operandi.
  • It is a low cost option for Israel and no one will raise a finger at Israel as the rebels are getting armed by other countries and not Israel
  • We know that Israel has captured territory after expelling the original inhabitants who were living there.
  • Now the blood thirsty Jews are not satisfied and they want more and more territory stretching right upto Baghdad from the present borders of Israel.
  • They (Jews) consider this area called "Levant" as their god given right. No matter what happens to the original residents (Arabs whether Muslims or Christians) living there.
  • This a deadly game which Israel is playing.
  • Now no longer anyone is talking about Israel human rights abuse and the way they have been committing atrocities for decades.
  • The focus is battle for Aleppo or battle for Mosul and not Israel.

Circumcision

This act is what defines a man and that is the act of Circumcision.
  • Actually when I was coming from Jaisalmer to Mumbai by train in March 2016, I met a Doctor who got on at Baroda and got down at Vapi.
  • During discussion he told that he had heard from another Doctor from Chennai that Muslims have less chance to suffer from cancer because they have done circumcision.
  • At that time I stayed quiet and didn't think much about it but now months have passed and I am able to think rationally but to be honest I am still not clear about it.
  • Like we hear on radio "Actor calling Akthar", where Farhan Akhtar calls his dad Javed Akhtar and poses some question to him. Javed Akhtar has been imitated as he does shows in a Channel on Tata Sky "Active Javed Akhtar" and he says "Dekho bete halaki isme do raye hai...arz karta hoon mulayza farmao" and goes on.
  • What it means that in some cases we can have two different views and both the views will appear right.
  • Circumcision is that kind of area.
  • We know all Jews are bound to do Circumcision by religion and so do Muslims.
  • Nowhere we find that it is bound in Christianity. Still much of United States, Australia and Canada follow this practice.
  • Also interesting in South Korea it is common maybe as a fallout of the Korean war when there was American influence.
  • Is circumcision necessary?
  • The origin can be traced to "pleasure". When one person is circumcised, he cannot stimulate his penis and indulge in masturbation. The traditional religions of the world prohibit masturbation.
  • They say that one drop of semen is equal to 100 drops of blood.
  • It is a fact that when one is circumcised one cannot masturbate.
  • Hence to get the benefit of the circumcision one has to be circumcised at a very young age.
  • It should happen before he becomes aware of these facts related to sex and stimulation.
  • Thus to to get the full benefit one has to be circumcised when one is a baby or a young boy.
  • Then again is it necessary?
  • Does one drop of semen equal 100 drops of blood.
  • Doctors have dismissed this view and say that semen is being continually produced by the body and if it is not released through masturbation or sexual activity, it will come out during night as nightfall.
  • Pleasure is bad. But calling out to God is good. And that is the reason for circumcision. Even females get circumcised in some countries because they feel "pleasure" will ruin their societies and make their societies "adulterous".
  • Even in Christianity we find nuns who have left their worldly life and dedicate themselves towards God. But they do not get circumcised do they.
  • World over people are getting the view that female circumcision is barbaric and should be done away with.
  • But if female circumcision is bad, so should male circumcision be.
  • A male baby or young boy will get circumcised and will not be aware why it being done. He will realise it when he grows up and will know that he was subjected to choices which were not in his control.
  • Does circumcision prevent cancer? This "C" word is something which everyone dreads. I have also heard "Cancer, No Answer".
  • Now why cancer happens is itself a very big mystery.
  • But common sense should be a banana. We know a banana has a covering/peel. That covering/peel keeps it safe. To eat a banana we remove the peel and eat it. A banana remains safe due to the peel. Think about it. Due the peel the banana lasts for days and weeks. Once we remove the peel the bana gets spoiled in a matter of hours.
  • Similarly is a man's penis. think of the foreskin as a peel of the banana. When the skin covering is removed, does the penis become safer?
  • Over a period of time the skin becomes thicker after brushing against fabric of underwear and the pants. The foreskin is naturally thicker and original foreskin also has more than 20000 nerve endings. All will be lost when a male child or man undergoes circumcision and the foreskin is removed.
  • Also we find a higher incidence of prostrate cancer among Americans. Now it could be due to higher consumption of red meat over decades or it could be due to circumcision. We just don't know.
  • Like I had said things for men are not simple. Like women men too have complicated issues and one of the major one relate to circumcision.
  • It is something which is not necessary I feel. But if we look at religion they do it to prevent "pleasure from self stimulation", loss of semen. Sexually Transmittable Diseases may be avoided upon circumcision but when one is too much Sexually Active with multiple partners. If one has just one wife with limited sexual activity it just doesn't matter whether one is circumcised or not.
  • Also religions may have prescribed it for hygiene issues and to avoid "non essential sexual activity" i.e. one which does not involve for propagating oneself (for children).
  • But without circumcision also one can stay clean by retracting the foreskin and cleaning the area.

Idol Worship Observations

There are few Observations about Idol Worship which I would like to point out in this blog post:
  • We know Hindus indulge in this sort of obsession known as idol worship.
  • Is there any scientific basis for this?
  • There are two ways to look at it.
  • One is that there is a scientific basis but it is yet to be discovered by "Science".
  • People pay in hundreds of thousands at famous idols all over the world over the course of days, months or year.
  • Now we know that these people are real.
  • People are living entities and they make the "journey" to these temples and "they pray".
  • Their prayer is a call to the almighty for desires which they want to be fulfilled.
  • Like some may want a child, some wants high marks in exams, some wants promotion in job, some want a perfect husband or wife and so on, the prayers are endless.
  • We cannot deny the fact that a person every person is unique.
  • And something powers this person.
  • This person does not have a man made battery or motors making him work.
  • He or she is powered by a unique system which is still a mystery and science is still working towards uncovering all the graphic details.
  • Some people will say that a "soul is inside a person" and this soul drives that person.
  • But even if we deny the soul we cannot deny the fact that every person is unique and something makes that person "work".
  • Now idols may not have life. But people have life.
  • And people pray to these idols. So a little bit of life gets transferred to this idol.
  • People don't pray to people in hundreds of thousands.
  • Maybe there are a few elders whom many bow down and seek the blessing. But in no case it would be in hundreds of thousands.
  • Maybe some "living gurus" or leaders would be there whom many bow down.
  • But it cannot match the very fact that the idol stays in one place and people pray where the idol is standing.
  • A living person would be keeping on moving.
  • If an idol moved than it would be a "horror story" or a "sci-fi thriller".
  • We can then expect full fledged coverage in News channels and Armed forces would be taking full fledged action to take it down in case it turns hostile like we see in Extra terrestrial movies like Independence Day or Godzilla movies.
  • Thus the idol is worthy of worship only because we are human and it is an idol.
  • If it were moving it would no longer be worthy of worship but it would be a fit candidate for military action to protect the safety of humans. That is what I feel.

Mirza Ghalib, Project Marathwada, Khwaish

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.
Mirza Ghalib
This movie was watched on Zee Cinema HD Channel after recording on Pen drive on Airtel Digital TV. This movie is a cartoon movie and is full of the sadness of the story of poet and writer Mirza Ghalib who lived during the first part of 1800's. Okay to be watched once.
Project Marathwada
This movie was watched on Miniplex HD Channel after recording on Pen drive on Airtel Digital TV. It is thoroughly enjoyable for once at least. Om Puri is an old farmer from Marathwada who has come to the city and the story is on these lines.
Khwaish
This movie was watched on Miniplex HD Channel after recording on Pen drive on Airtel Digital TV. It is thoroughly enjoyable for at least one time watching. the story deals with love at the time of the situation when health does not cooperate and so on. It is the debut film of Malika Sherawat.

Ae Dil hai Mushkil, Shivaay

Watched the above two movies recently. Both were watched on the big screen.
Ae Dil hai Mushkil
This movie is okay to be watched once. There are all Muslim characters in the movie except Ranvir Kapoor who is Hindu.
But the Muslim characters indulge in all sort of "haraam" activities i.e. activities which are prohibited in Islam. Like drinking, extra marital affairs, wanton sexual activity, casual sex, DJying, partying, listening to music and so on. If you see like that Ranvir Kapoor is the most decent character in the movie. I don't know why the Hindu organisations are protesting for the movie.
Maybe the Hindu organizations are doing the work of the Islamic organizations.
In hardcore religious following maybe the Hindu and the Muslim organizations like Taliban have found common ground. Maybe there is no difference between fundamentalism in Hindu and Muslim religions. Both are two sides of the same coin.
The true enemy of both Hindu and Muslim fundamentalists are probably the liberal people and the athiests. And that is bad.
Shivaay
In fact what I felt is that this movie is better than the previous one.
Because in the previous movie there are several stars involved but in this movie it is a one man show and that is Ajay Devgan show.
But what i felt after watching the movie is that they could have made the heroine Indian. And that would have given it even better success because these days women are a very big audience and consumer of movies. Indian women cannot digest the fact that Ajay Devgan the Alpha male in the movie has gone for a "Videshi girl". And they would have appeciated if an Indian was the heroine. the plot line could have been the same. And the Indian heroine would be the one living in Bulgaria but maybe the producers thought otherwise.
Technically also I felt this movie is better than the movie "Ae dil hai mushkil".
Okay to be watched once.

Bengaluru Steel Flyover

I will say there has been a lot of debate both for and against the Bengaluru Steel Flyover.
In this post I will try to outline a few points.
  • People will try to paint it as a Congress BJP conflict.
  • But the fact is it is not a Congress BJP conflict.
  • Each party wants to use the issue for its advantage.
  • Now I just read an interview where DV Sadanada Gowda is linking UP Elections with the Steel flyover.
  • Let me tell that it is foolishness and malice on part of BJP to link a distant UP Elections with the Steel flyover issue.
  • The issue is actually between "politician builder" nexus.
  • It is the same thing like politician bus operator nexus which is not making the one way happen again in Madivala.
  • What has happened in Madivala let me outline:
    • Madivala there is too much traffic around the St. Johns hospital area.
    • There has been experiment of one way and then traffic used to flow smoothly.
    • Then work was started for cementing the road near Madivala market.
    •  For several months, traffic was restored to two way and it was decided to resume one way after the completion of the cementing work.
    • Now the cementing work is completed but the one way will never happen again?
    • Why? because of the bus operators.
    • They take the straight road to Madivala Masjid and then take a U-turn there and join to pick up the passengers.
    • In the absence of that they have to take a full roundabout after St. Johns hospital.
    • So the Govt./traffic police simply obliged to this bus operator mafia and two way is continuing as it was inconveniencing thousands as the traffic is simply too heavy.
    • If it was one way, traffic flow would have been faster but not anymore.
    • They have even cemented the divider so that no one thinks about making it one way again.
  •  Now let us go back to the earlier flyovers.
  • There are three main flyovers to look out for:
    • Flyover at Mohammad Ali Road in Mumbai
    • Flyover over KR market at Bengaluru
    • Flyover at Hosur road (Silk board to Electronics city).
  •  Apart from this there are flyovers in other cities like Hyderabad and Kolkata but we can ignore those for now.
  • When KR market flyover was done it was like a boon. I had come to Bengaluru in 1996 and there was no flyover at KR market. Fast forward to 2002 when I came to Bengaluru there was already this flyover at KR market.
  • Similarly the Md Ali flyover at Mumbai was not there in 1998 but by 2002 it was up and running.
  • Hosur Road flyover construction also started right before my eyes late in 2006 and by 2010 Feb it was open for public.
  • All there flyovers were like "ready to assemble" ones.
  • The pillars were built in place but the structures which were to support the vehicles were built elsewhere and just shipped and fitted.
  • That makes the construction speed too fast and completion sooner.
  • Now if you build a bridge at the spot it takes time.
  • But if you assemble it after importing the parts from elsewhere it happens fast.
  • It is much like furniture. If we build in out house it will take months. but if already ready to assemble ones are ordered it would take days.
  • Now the Hosur Road flyover was a disaster. I think the road comes under National Highways Authority of India which is under central Govt. And when Hosur Road flyover was built there was UPA i.e. Congress in Center. Also the contractors were from Hyderabad and Govt. in Andhra Pradesh (capital hyderabad) was Congress and there was a like minded Govt. here in Karnataka.
  • Unfortunately, when such kind of flyover work has already commenced, nothing can be done by succeeding Govt.
  • And BJP Govt. did not come into power on its own in Karnataka until 2008 when much of the flyover work was already done.
  • But we should not elevate the BJP as we know that much of area around the Agara lake was developed when BJP was in power in the state.
  • Also they were planning to build two underpass in Koramangala and a flyover from Shoolay Circle till Silk Board.
  • Those underpasses never happened and gladly we don't hear about the elevated road from Shoolay Circle till Silk Board.
  • What we hear about now is the flyover from Chalukya Circle till Hebbal.
  • I will say this flyover is welcome if the Govt cannot find any other option.
  • Why is it better than Hosur Road flyover I think. It is because of below:
    • Hosur Road flyover has no exit. Once you enter you exit at the end and its bad. The Steel flyover will be having plenty of exits.
    • Hosur Road flyover is blatant builder-land owner nexus. Where they want to "jack up" property prices at the other end of the road. This steel flyover wants to improve access to airport which is always welcome. Property price and acccess should be secondary when airport is involved. At Hosur Road there is no airport.
    • Hosur Road flyover is paid road. The Govt. promises the Steel flyover to be free. And that should be the criteria for the same. Money collection should not be the motive of Govt.
    • At Hosur Road following flyover we find no trees in the entire stretch. For steel flyover the Govt. has promised 60000 trees in place of 1000 or 2000 which will be lost which is fair enough.
    • Much of the land 80% is Govt owned. So Govt. can always use its land for the betterment of the city. We do not know if the Hosur road flyover was built on Govt land. Maybe not.
    • The Hosur Road was built by Center Govt and not state so there was not good planning.
    • This Steel flyover is being built at the heart of the city at the heart of where the State govt is based so obviously they will think how best to help the citizens of the city. The Chief Minister is also taking personal interest in this.
    • Metro access to airport can happen anytime and through any route of the nine routes suggested by the Govt.
    • But no harm in having a latest flyover from Vidhan Soudha till Hebbal where it can join the Airport road.
