Captain Miller, Fighter, Crackk

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

Captain Miller

  • Watched this fictional movie on Amazon Prime Video.
  • It shows a world before Indian Independence when India was under British rule.
  • It shows Communism has already arisen so more likely it would be set in 1920's or 1930's.
  • Such violent movie. Hundreds of soldiers die. Mainly British and British Indian soldiers.
  • But they are unable to win even after using heavy weapons as Indians also have the weapons.
  • It also shows the caste differences and protection of temples.
  • No one can defeat the Indians is shown in the movie. Thanks to Captain Miller.

Fighter

  • This air action movie was seen on big screen.
  • Okay movie to be watched once.
  • It is not like Pathaan but is watchable.
  • I guess even producer or director do not know why a film will face extraordinary success while some will face little bit less.

Crackk

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Movie is set among Mumbai kids.
  • They could have set in any other location like Delhi, Rajasthan or Goa but they could not have shown local trains and racing on them.
  • Arjun Rampal is shown to be very rich but it beats me why he stayed in a dilapidated castle as shown in the movie.
  • I guess they showed how much the budget allowed.
  • Shot in Poland, Azerbaijan and little bit Hong Kong from air is shown in the movie.
  • What I want to say is that it is shot in foreign locations and they have not specified a single country.
  • They have said that it is somewhere in Europe.

Hi Papa

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.

  • Too good movie worth watching.
  • This movie also shows the importance of family as is the case in many Indian movies especially Telugu film industry movies.

Salaar, Pushkara, Expendables 4

Watched three movies as mentioned above.

Salaar

  • This just amazing movie was watched on Netflix.
  • Prabhas has proved once more that he is true action star.
  • Something very new is shown in the movie and that is why the movie is such a big hit.
  • Several years are important in the movie and those are 1747, 1947, 1985, 2010 and 2017.
  • What happened on 2010 and between 2010 and 2017 and subsequently is yet to be shown.
  • They will show it in sequel.

Pushkara

  • This Odia movie was watched on Tarang Plus App.
  • Too good movie.
  • Though movie is set in Puri town it can be set in any small religious town in India and would still work.
  • Worth watching.

Expendables 4

  • This terrific action movie was watched on Lionsgate Play.
  • Too good action.
  • Full of brawn and nothing else.
  • Worth watching.

Bloody Daddy, The Moon, Black Phone, Amsterdam

Watched four movies as mentioned above.

Bloody Daddy

  • This movie was watched on Jio Cinema.
  • I liked the movie. Truly modern movie.
  • They have shot in Abu Dhabi and made it as Gurgaon.
  • Worth watching once.

The Moon

  • Watched this movie on Prime Video.
  • I will say imagination runs wild and shows humans racing towards the moon.
  • And South Korea is successful in landing a man on moon.
  • Good special effects and impossible is shown in the movie.
  • Worth watching.

Black Phone

  • Watched this movie on Netflix.
  • It shows supernatural as well.
  • Worth watching once.

Amsterdam

  • This movie was watched on Prime Video.
  • It shows how US was dangerously close to becoming Fascist like Germany or Italy of that time in the early 1930's.
  • Endorsement by military veterans was one step to legitimize the big business who backed the fascists with links to Germany and Italy.
  • Worth watching this movie.

Joram, Killer Book, Nowhere, Leave The

Watched four movies as mentioned above.

Joram

  • This movie was watched on the big screen.
  • Nice movie.
  • It shows a conflict and it is very much like Israel-Palestine conflict.
  • This conflict is very much similar and that is like fight between indigenous people and invaders from more progressive society who want to destroy forests for development and exploitation of resources.
  • The tribals just happen to be on the way.
  • Worth watching.

Killer Book Club

  • This Spanish movie in English was watched on Netflix.
  • Worth watching.
  • It is like "Scream" series but I guess this is a standalone movie with great performances by the actors.

Nowhere

  • This is also a Spanish movie was watched on English language on Netflix.
  • It is too good movie which shows a dystopian world where people are killed because of lack of availability of materials including food and water.
  • So some people think of abandoning their lands and fleeing to foreign shores like Ireland and Norway.
  • The pregnant woman makes a journey alone through the ocean and drifts in a container and even gives birth to a daughter.
  • The women resembles a lot to Anupama serial heroine i.e. Rupali Ganguli and that makes it like watching an Indian movie.
  • But they have shown child birth and lactating woman and hence A+ certificate.

Leave The World Behind

  • This movie was watched on Netflix.
  • Producers are ex President Obama and his wife.
  • This does not show supernatural events but shows how society descends into chaos and civil war slowly but surely.
  • Civil war is preceded by crippling cyber attacks and destruction of society.
  • People do not trust each other and so on.
  • Those who do not prepare themselves are left in the lurch.

Dirilis Ertugrul, Kurulus Osman

Dirilis Ertugrul : Season 5

  • Last I had watched till Episode 145
  • Finally I completed the entire Ertugrul series with 5 seasons.
  • This series is to Turks as Ramayana and Mahabharata aired in Doordarshan in late 1980's is to Indians.
  • When Ramayana and later Mahabharata got aired in India, streets used to get deserted and people never used to miss the airing of the episodes.
  • Similarly for Ertugrul in Turkey.
  • I first got to watch it after Pakistani PM Imran Khan recommended it to the world during first phase of Covid in 2020. Link 1
  • I started watching Ertugrul Season 1 since June 29, 2020.
  • And I completed yesterday i.e. December, 14, 2023 so it took little less than 3 and half years for me to complete the series.
  • I do not regret watching the series.
  • I enjoyed it and in fact when I was watching last episode I got kind of sad that it would get over.
  • Coming back to the series from Episode 146 to 150, they do not show the Western front (i.e the remnants of the Byzantine empire) of Turkish mainland.
  • They show only internal Turkish struggle and the struggle with Mongols in those last five episodes.
  • New Mongol villian Arkbukka is introduced.
  • And series ends with a positive note.
  • I started Season 1 with watching on Youtube.
  • Then I watched on Netflix till Season 4.
  • Season 5 I started watching then first Netflix removed Season 5 from its catalogue.
  • Then on March 31, 2023 Netflix removed entire series from its server.
  • So I found other ways to watch it.

Kurulus Osman Season 1 - Episode 1

  • Immediately after Ertugrul series ended I started with Kurulus Osman first episode.
  • I can say the quality of filming of Kurulus Osman is far superior to Dirilis Ertugrul.
  • They have used super HD camera and tiny details like even droplets of water when the horse crosses streams becomes visible.
  • They have shown several mountains, streams, rivers, forests and even sea in Dirilis Ertugrul but they never showed a snow capped mountain but now in very first episode of Kurulus Osman they have shown it.
  • Horse battles shown in Episode 1 is like never seen before.
  • It exceeds all horse battles shown in entire 5 seasons of Dirilis Ertugrul.
  • As I see now, more than 139 episodes have already been aired of Kurulus Osman.
  • I have started with Episode 1 and hopefully it will not take 3 years to watch those 140 episodes.
  • I hope to complete or "catch up" early.

Drop of Semen

  • People we have heard that a drop of semen is equal to 100 drops of blood.
  • As we age we can realise that it is true.
  • As we age we suffer from diseases and get dependent on medication.
  • When we discharge semen we get weak.
  • The body works overtime to restore the semen "lost".
  • Semen production requires a lot of components.
  • One component is collected from joints and tendons.
  • So joints and tendons become weak.
  • And this leads to Arthritis and joint pains.
  • The body will do its duty.
  • The body will replenish the stock of semen "lost" or discharged.
  • This process is automatic and we can do little about it.
  • So the thing is if you want to save yourself from joint pains and maintain flexibility is not to discharge any semen as you age.
  • We are aware that during young age we can discharge a lot of semen and not get affected by it.
  • We can discharge almost everyday.
  • But as we age the frequency keeps reducing and then it comes to stage that even if we discharge semen once a month it becomes too much.
  • Also we may discharge without getting erection.
  • That is common as we age.
  • This is applicable to males mind you.
  • Physiology of females is entirely different.
  • But females do get to the stage of menopause where they stop having periods.
  • I guess men also go through "menopause" and that is how their ability to discharge semen reduces.
  • And they can do "severe body harm" if they keep discharging semen as they age.
  • This severe body harm includes body pain, joint pain, frozen shoulder and so on.
  • Men (and women) can keep donationg blood upto 60 or 65 once every three or four months.
  • But discharging semen will leave them weak.
  • And hence the saying goes one drop of semen equals hundred drops of blood.
  • The truth is no one knows how many drops of blood equals a drop of semen.
  • It may differ from person to person.
  • Even among races it may differ.
  • Just think about it.
  • It might just be true.
