I would like to say that Western press is very biased. It is skewed in favour of Western values and Israel. It is less inclined to report things 'as they are' and it is more inclined to report things as it 'sees to be' or 'wants to be'. Here I would like to mention AP News and it is very biased according to me.
I first came across AP News around January 2011 after I bought my Galaxy Tab in December 2010. AP News came installed as 'an app' in my Android based tab. Around that time I had also come across the 'google reader' and I used to access it to get news. Perhaps after that the Arab Spring happened. At that time in my office computer, I was also accessing the US State Govt website to know various details regarding the foreign countries.
I had also enrolled in the www.fpa.org website for US Govt. Foreign jobs. I used to get emails from fpa which used to mention topics such as "reshaping Middle East". (Thus the so called Arab spring had some amount of foreign backing including US backing as well, and it was 'not so covert', it was quasi-official policy.) Then I shifted my house in Bengaluru city in Feb 2011. Somehow I feel I am also responsible for the Arab spring. Now when I shifted back to my old residence in Bengaluru, the 'Arab spring' was 'undone' as the democratic Govt. in Egypt was deposed by a bloody coup.
When the Egypt coup happened, a lot of news sources and let us face it the vast majority of English News sources covering these issues are Western based gave a view that "Military coup was necessary" and "Islamic society cannot have Islamic Govt.s" and so on. Agreed that these news was particularly for their own consumption, i.e. their own people consumption but by propagating these they are making a "stiff society" which would leave "no room for any maneuver". We need to accommodating and why meddle in other people/country's internal affairs. Why not mind your own countries.
Then what happened. A bloody crackdown in Egypt and all the 'lovey-dovey' about the Egypt revolution and the Arab spring 'simply evaporated'. Only if the Western press was more 'truth based' and not 'propaganda machine', the outcome would have been different. Here, in the case of Egypt we found the Western press people were just "waiting in the wings" to 'unleash their armaments' and in this case armaments means nothing but the power of the words and their articles posting the point of view so skewed against the deposed Govt. of Morsi that it would simply be unable to beat. And these Western Press people are very good in English. No one or few can match them in their writing skills even if they have the full knowledge of English.
Then the 'propaganda about Syria' began immediately when not even one week had passed after the bloody crackdown in Egypt. Attention of their peoples and the World was now diverted from Egypt to Syria. And for a few 'hundreds alleged deaths' (and in reality we don't know who were responsible) people were were being coerced to believe that millions can be killed and the means would be justified for the ends.
We saw how the public opinion was fabricated in Libya using false reports allegedly using someone's twitter account and very big articles were printed and published in Western news sources and it justified an eight month bombing campaign which ultimately resulted in Libya being taken over by Western oil interests and Gaddhafi 'murdered by thugs' and leaving Libya more divided than ever before.
I would like to say here that 'this supposedly reality' is actually fiction and this 'supposedly reality' sucks. Actual fiction which is the 'world of movies' is better. As we know movies are fiction and are 'staged' from the beginning. The movie world gives us an outlet to escape and 'it is better'. This 'manufactured reality' by the Western news agencies sucks big time.
I would like to say that xinhua, news agency from China and Russian news agencies like pravda as well as Iranian news agencies and to some extent Pakistani news agencies provide an often accurate news and alternate news which is often accurate and slightly different from the ones given by Western news agencies. Unfortunately, Indian news agencies mostly 'toe the Western line'. Just 'copy-pasting from Western news agencies' will work to the detriment of the world. Alternate news is required. News which is more 'humanity based' and takes into account the will and aspirations of the people of the different nations in question.

Watched two more movies. "Aatma" (Bipasha Basu starrer) and "Love Ka Tadka"(Nauheed Cyrusi starrer). Both movies are worth watching at least one time according to me.
