Panipat, Jumanji The Next Level

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Panipat
  • This movie based on Third Battle of Panipat.
  • This was watched at PVR Forum Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • I am inclined to say that Arjun Kapoor looks more like a Maratha than Ranvir Singh who appears more like Rajput.
  • My observation is the movie is a based on facts and facts cannot get any better.
  • Though the relationship of Marathas and Sikhs shown may not be factual.
  • Relationship would be more complicated.
  • But still one cannot sugar coat the story too much.
  • It must at least be digestible.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Jumanji The Next Level
  • This movie is based on a game in which the players are transported inside the game.
  • First movie which had come was starring Robin Williams and I had watched it in Hyderabad in Starling theatre in 1996.
  • Person there had commented "Phis se wahi jawani laut aati" when the characters return to the real world they are restored to their same "young state".
  • This movie is okay to be watched once at least if not more.
  • I mean what thinking has gone into the movie.
  • Imagination running wild.

Pati Patni Aur Woh, Hotel Mumbai

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Pati Patni Aur Woh
  • This movie was watched at Inox
  • I liked the movie
  • Worth watching according to me.
  • Fully enjoyable.
  • Enjoy with your family.
  • All actors have done good work
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hotel Mumbai
  • This movie was watched at Inox
  • I liked the movie.
  • Based on 26-11 terrorist act in Mumbai (erstwhile Bombay).
  • Glad that so many people were saved but felt sad for the casualties.
  • We pray that no such incident takes place ever again.
  • As these kind of incidents are a blot on society.
  • Humanity must not suffer.
  • Hope all people get their humanity back and work for welfare of people.

Maharashtra politics observations

  • This post is dedicated to Maharashtra politics.
  • What happened in Maharashtra over past few days is simply unbelievable.
  • Maharashtra is a big state in fact a very big state.
  • It stretches from Vidarbha to Marathwada to Konkan.
  • In fact I had the opportunity to travel to Ganpatipule and Mahabaleshwar and it was an experience.
  • I must say to govern such a huge state you have to have two options.
  • Either divide the state into smaller units else people of diverse backgrounds need to come together.
  • What has just happened. People of diverse backgrounds came together. Like Shiv Sena,  Congress and NCP.
  • One size fits all will not work in Maharashtra.
  • That was what BJP and RSS were offering.
  • One size fits all may work in any other state but definitely not in Maharashtra.
  • BJP was in power in 2014 to 2019 and people  have seen what they offer.
  • Promises Vs what was actually offered there is a lot of difference.
  • Now in 2019 BJP is raising the issue of farmer distress bloody who is responsible.
  • You BJP are in power in both Center and State of Maharashtra and now after not solving farmers issue you raise the bogey of farmers. Shame on you.
  • I had a feeling that BJP when it issued Presidents Rule in Maharashtra would want to apply "Kashmir formula" in Maharashtra.
  • Meaning "keep it under Presidents rule for extended period and then split the state into two or three parts"
  • The BJP has always been in favour of small states.
  • They feel they would be easier to manage plus it would suit them as they can "manage" the opposition and "manipulate the public" quite well in a small state.
  • Then I looked up the numbers and found that BJP has faltered in its traditional strong areas of Vidarbha and Marathwada were the Congress and NCP have won handsomely.
  • Certainly then applying the Kashmir solution was out of the question.
  • They could have done but without public support that could have resulted in Civil unrest and possibly Civil war in India's most prosperous state.
  • Hence what has happened in right.
  • When initially Ajit Pawar went with BJP it appeared that entire NCP was with them and then it appeared that Amit Shah with or without Shared Pawar had played a masterstroke and had done surgical strike at enemy camp which means opposition  camp.
  • Then Ajit Pawar resigned after BJP hastily dropped all the charges against him and BJP was left red faced with Fadnavis left with no option but to resign.
  • Fadnavis I must confess was looking like a school boy during his swearing in while the Governor was looking like the Principal.
  • It was nothing but a mockery of democracy.
  • I must say that when Ajit Pawar returned the truth was out that it was Shared Pawar who has done the surgical strike on BJP camp.
  • He actually went inside the BJP camp destroyed them from inside and returned.
  • He was like "Tanhaji" in new Ajay Devan movie.
  • It was a real surgical strike.
  • Now if the alliance sticks together for five years my respect for Marathis and people of Maharashtra can only increase.
  • They would have then proved that they are the real descendants of the Marathas  who resisted Mughal rule from Delhi and protected the South and Deccan from North.
  • The BJP are worse than the Mughals but they are ruling from the North and that is where the similarity ends.
  • And if the alliance sticks together means BJP cannot divide the state on the lines of Kashmir and Kashmir formula cannot be applied in Maharashtra and Maharashtra will stay united as one.

Pagalpanti

  • Watched this movie Pagalpanti at Inox.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Full enjoyment.
  • Initially I did not like the movie, means immediately.
  • But now I think about the same and find it is a perfect movie.
  • Nirav Modi and Mehul Chokshi are the villains in the movie.
  • I mean the movie is full of villians.
  • One beating the other but they are the super villains.
  • All the heroes have good screen presence and deserve more roles.

China vs India problems

  • This blog is dedicated to the Hong Kong crisis which China is facing and problems that India is facing like in Kashmir, Urban Naxals and the like.
  • I will say that India problems and China problems are totally different.
  • Like let us take the case of Hong Kong.
  • When Hong Kong reverted back to China from British rule in 1997, Hong Kong was more developed than China.
  • At that time people from China were flocking to Hong Kong.
  • It was a magnet or Mecca so as to speak.
  • Now fast forward 20+ years and China has developed in ways which can't be imagined.
  • No Chinese now would want to go to Hong Kong to improve his standard of living.
  • China is developing in ways that many countries (including India) can only dream of.
  • And where is Hong Kong?
  • Hong Kong is no longer the "magnet" it once was and hence is "left behind".
  • They will have to be happy to 'maintain there standard of living' which is getting increasingly diificult.
  • And hence the conflict and protest.
  • Part of it is funded by Western powers who are jealous of China's rise in the world.
  • Now problems of India are exactly opposite.
  • India as a country is not growing as China and growth may be due to large corporation s or fudging of numbers.
  • In other words India has nothing to offer except despair and suffocation.
  • That is why there is anti India or anti Govt demonstration whether in Kashmir or North East or Naxals or Urban Naxals.
  • You are with us or against us will not work in India case.
  • Because with us means poverty and no development.
  • It is not like China or what happened in post World War in South Korea or Japan or Western Europe.
  • That is the difference of China and India problems.

Charlie's Angels, Bala, Marjawan

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.
Charlie's Angels
This movie was watched at Inox.
I liked this movie as a popcorn flix.
You watch this movie while munching popcorn and you have a good time.
Do not play much importance to the storyline and stuff.
Bala
This movie was watched at Inox.
I liked the movie so much.
I will give it 5 star rating.
Once again Ayushman Khurana proves that he is the man.
Definitely worth watching.
Marjawan
This movie was watched at Single screen hall.
I liked the movie.
The actors have done tremendous roles.
This movie shows that the world we live in is "Mrytyuloka" means those who are born here are bound to do.
We may hide from it or escape it but that is only temporary and ultimate reality and we cannot escape it.
We have to realize it sooner rather than later.
Our time of death may differ meaning what age we die will differ.
Also what causes the death may differ.
But reality is we will all die.
That is shown in the movie.
Hence this is worth watching.
To realize the truth.

Travel and stay at places

  • Earlier I used to like travel to different places and stay at different places.
  • That was the situation for much of my life.
  • I used to go by Sleeper train, land at a place and then walk down to nearest lodge or hotel and stay in the room and in subsequent days explore the city.
  • I have gone like that to Bangalore (1996 and 2002), Calcutta (1996 and 2004), Delhi (2004), Hyderabad (1996 and 2002), Chennai (2002), Mumbai (1998), Visakhapatnam (1996 and 2002), Vijaywada (2003), Goa (2004), Pune (2003).
  • Then once I got used to staying at one place it did not interest me anymore.
  • Then I had broadband connection at home and that was where the heart is.
  • Sometimes I wish to go back to the places where I was to see how things have changed.
  • For that to go back where I was is it worth to travel in Sleeper and stay in not so good hotels?
  • I don't think so.
  • Even if I travel in Sleeper class, I need to stay in rooms which are at least little bit decent.
  • Nowadays when trains have bio toilets and we can see potty swimming in the toilets. Earlier they used to fall through the train below and at least it was hygenic or seemed so unless the water got finished and potty stuff was all around the toilet seat.
  • Now if a long journey in train is nothing short of a nightmare.
  • Better to starve yourself and not use the potty.
  • Okay you reach a place through difficult means and then stay in a decent place by spending quite a bit of money. Maybe not very but still too much.
  • Now what you do? After three four days you roam around and then you need to return from wherever you came from.
  • Is it worth it?
  • To travel to a place where "you were" and find out what has changed in the meantime.
  • And then return to a place where you "are" and get on with your lives.
  • That is the full confusion in life.
  • Also if the place is not decent there is no need to stay. That is what I feel.
  • If you have a Club or Resort membership you may chose to stay in affiliated resort and enjoy luxury and that will make it worth it.
  • Else you may stay in decent hotels and spend considerable amounts.
  • But is it worth to travel on a shoestring budget so as to speak.
  • Not to a new place because that desire is no longer there but to places where you were or where you have been.

Tipu Sultan the hero from Mysore

  • Recently I heard about Tipu Sultan controversy happening in Karnataka and elsewhere.
  • Then I did some research which basically included reading about Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan on Wikipedia.
  • I also read about Anglo Mysore wars and Mysore Maratha wars.
  • Also linked to above  are French-British wars and Anglo Dutch wars and of course Napoleon Bonaparte.
  • That more research is required but what I must say is that everything is linked and the present can be traced to the past.
  • I will like to say that though Tipu Sultan is controversial he is a hero.
  • He is brave hero and the present day Karnataka state owes it's existence to Tipu Sultan.
  • He was not working for unity of the country as we know of it today which is India.
  • But he was working for freedom and independence of his own Kingdom of Mysore.
  • The fact is even after Tipu Sultan was killed in battle with the British, the British preferred to not incorporate Mysore into Madras state like it happened to Nizam state or the territory under the Marathas.
  • This "quasi-independence" which Mysore state enjoyed immediately following the death of Tipu gave rise to present day Karnataka which is able to stand on its own.
  • British never had the guts to incorporate Mysore with their own Madras Presidency. And it is due to severest fight given by Mysore by Tipu Sultan.
  • Karnataka got chance to fully integrate with India only post independence.
  • And today Karnataka is home to people from all over the country as well as the world.
  • Without heroic fight of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan, Karnataka would have been swamped by Telugus and Tamils and be part of Madras state which did not happen.
  • Else Karnataka would have swamped by Marathas from up North.
  • Mysore was at war with Marathas, Nizam as well as British during Tipu Sultan time.
  • Hence we have to appreciate what has happened in history and not force distorted versions.
  • Particularly those versions which were written by British appointed writers sought to demonise Tipu following his defeat to show that British rule was better.
  • Under Tipu Sultan the Mysore state was the most developed portion of India with lot of trading happening which was taken over by British following 1799.
  • Else those who do not appreciate the differences are bound to face them again and again.

Doctor Sleep, Midway

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line.
Midway
This movie was watched at Cinepolis.
I liked the movie.
I am sure Japanese did not have a chance.
Once America was fully mobilized they were bound to lose.
Just look at the map of the world.
Japan is an island. America is a continent.
Japan was bound to get smashed in Ww2.
Sometimes bravery is not enough. You need a giant like structure to support you.
The statistics that 250000 Chinese were killed by the Japanese for making Americans escape who bombed Japan and landed in Chinese held territory is simply tragic.
Doctor Sleep
This movie was watched at Inox.
Superb must watch movie.
Those who liked "The Shining" will bound to like this movie.
It deals with dreams and immortality.
Movie can kick start your grey cells.
Worth watching.

Apocalypse WWI and WWII

  • Watched the above series in Airtel XStream.
  • The name of the series is Apocalypse WWI and WWII.
  • As the name suggests this series deals with World War 1 and World War 2.
  • Apocalypse WWI has five episodes.
  • Apocalypse WWII has six episodes.
  • I mean I have seen the series "World War 2 in Colour" on Netflix.
  • First I watched Apocalypse WWI on Xstream.
  • Airtel only suggested it though notification on my mobile.
  • I tried to download it and watch it and then after Google Search realised that since Airtel Xstream does not own the content it cannot be downloaded and can only be watched through streaming mode.
  • Then I tried to download XStream App on Amazon Firestick but it just does not happen that way.
  • XStream has got its own "stick" and it can be bought on Flipkart.
  • Else you can watch it on Airtel DTH XStream Set top box.
  • But Airtel XStrem app on mobile works fine.
  • On Amazon Firestick there is the Silk browser and using the browser you can open websites.
  • And Airtel Xstream has a website just like Netflix and others which have website+app.
  • So I watched it in a combination of Mobile and Firestick using the Silk browser.
  • It was great to see moving images from World War 1 and in colour.
  • World War 1 itself became highly mechanized towards the end.
  • World War 2 presentation was also brutal.
  • It was shown how war is futile and waste.
  • Hitler took the world and his own country Germany to ruins.
  • United Nations was formed at the end of World War 2 and its main aim was to prevent war and I feel history shows that it has not been successful as powerful countries still harass weaker countries on various issues.
  • Let us not forget the Korean War or Vietnam War or Middle East Wars.
  • Let us hope better sense prevails and people realise that war is no solution to problems of any country.
  • People should come first.
  • Also racism is bad for the world.
  • As was in World War 2, there was racism against the Jews among others in Europe which led to the extermination.
  • There was racism of White man against the Yellow man which resulted in Korean War and then Vietnam War.
  • Second World war did not end this racism and racial superiority.
  • Now that is the reason for conflict in the world.
  • People need to realise that our creator is one and the same.

The Current War, Overcomer

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line above.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Current War
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • It shows us an aspect of history which we may not have knowledge about because it wasn't taught in schools and stuff.
  • Now that we have seen the movie we may be inclined to do more research about it.
  • I will say it is very important to know about our past because it has already happened and it should give us an idea how the present has come to be as it is.
  • This movie was supposed to release in 2017 but due to Weinstein and #Metoo controversies this has got delayed and saw the light of the day in 2019.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Overcomer
  •  This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Very good "Christian" movie with family values and stuff.
  • After watching this movie we can say that though we may follow other religions we lead lives which are like shown in the movie.
  • In other words general public will also like the movie.
  • This movie can be shown to school kids and groups of people who can go directly from Church to the Cinema hall.
  • Definitely worth watching.

Housefull 4, The Sky is Pink, Dream Girl, Terminator Dark Fate

Watched four movies as mentioned above in the subject line.
------------------------------------------------------------
Housefull 4
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum Mall.
  • Full comedy movie.
  • But after watching the movie you feel "drained" .
  • Still okay to be watched once.
  • And if you do not watch it you will never know how bad or how good(?) the movie is.
------------------------------------------------------------
The Sky is Pink
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum Mall.
  • Full emotional movie.
  • Movie brings tear to the eye.
  • Okay to be watched once without any problem.
------------------------------------------------------------
Dream Girl
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Vega City Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Ayushman Khurana by doing such roles proves that he is "the man".
  • Surely he has got big future as he is not willing to be afraid and try out different kind of roles.
------------------------------------------------------------
Terminator Dark Fate
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Vega City Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • John Connor happens to be Dani and the movie is worth watching for all.
  • In spite of what the critics say, this movie is the way to future as it is "empowering" for women.
  • Even if the audience is predominantly male, the makers have shown a future which is very likely.
  • Maybe the makers want more and more women to become Terminator fans like for Star Wars among other series.

Downtown Abbey, Gemini Man, Joker, War

Have watched four movies as mentioned in the subject line.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Downtown Abbey
  • This movie was watched at PVR, Forum mall.
  • I liked the movie as time pass only.
  • I did not like the gay element in the movie.
  • Then browsing through Google and Wikipedia I came to know that this was a highly popular series which aired from 2010 to 2015.
  • Movie has also made quite a tidy sum of money.
  • This is like a phenomena.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Gemini Man
  • This movie was watched at PVR, 4DX screen at Forum Mall.
  • I was the only person in the hall watching the afternoon show.
  • But they did not sent me back and the show ran.
  • It was first 4DX experience for me.
  • I watched IT Chapter 2 in IMAX screen in same PVR, Forum Mall. It was my first IMAX experience after great many years.
  • I had seen IMAX screen at Wadala Mumbai and nowhere else.
  • But 4DX experience was first ever.
  • And the seat was jerking and there was breeze and smell and flash of lighting.
  • I guess 4DX experience should be experienced.
  • IMAX is huge screen with curved form but 4DX is small screen with associated motions and experiences.
  • As far as the movie is concerned I liked the movie.
  • Worth watching according to me especially for Will Smith fans.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Joker
  • This movie was watched at Onyx Theatre which is also known as Shankarnag.
  • Upon Google Search it was known that Onyx theatre is made and promoted by Samsung Company.
  • The theatre is also refurbished and made new.
  • The above is the news article when the theatre was launched.
  • It is supposedly some new technology which is being deployed.
  • As far as the movie is concerned the movie is okay to be watched once.
  • I mean the movie is very well made no doubt about it.
  • But I did not like how the society is being degenerated is shown.
  • I mean the movie is set in 1980's but it has a very 21st Century feel to it I felt.
  • Certainly they could not have made like this movie in 1980's.
--------------------------------------------------------------
War
  • This movie was watched at Lakshmi theatre, Tavarakere.
  • I liked the movie for a one time watch.
  • And I felt Tiger Shroff is not in the movie inspite of being in the movie.
  • This is sort of like Badla movie where though Amitabh Bachchan is in the movie he is not there in the movie.
  • As Tiger Shroff character dies off in the movie and that si why it felt like that.
  • I feel that is the magic of movie.
  • Even when Tiger Shroff is in the movie we feel he is not there.

It:Chapter 2, Saaho, The Goldfinch, Rambo:Last Blood

Watched four movies as mentioned in the subject line over the past few days.
------------------------------------------------------------
It:Chapter 2
  • This movie was watched at PVR Movies, Forum Mall
  • I liked the movie.
  • Now in this movie the It is revealed and he is been there for millions of year at Derry, Connecticut. (It is Maine as Google Search reveals)
  • Before the "new Americans", American Indians have dealt with It.
  • Basically It is a monster which is residing there.
  • I feel the story now becomes not much different from Indian legend stories about demons or "Rakshashas".
------------------------------------------------------------
Saaho
  • This movie in Hindi version was watched at PVR Cinemas, Vega City.
  • I liked the movie.
  • I feel or felt that Prabhas is a truly "Hyderabad feel" actor.
  • By watching Prabhas or Saaho in action you feel you get transported to Hyderabad without actually physically traveling maybe just like when you watch a Rajnikant movie like Robot you get transported to Chennai.
  • Movie is a pain but for the last 10 minutes when the "prodigal son" returns.
  • So this movie is like "Bahubali redux".
------------------------------------------------------------
The Goldfinch
  • This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum mall.
  • During the movie itself I was browsing through Net and came to know that this movie lost 50 million Dollars.
  • I mean it is unbelievable that this movie lost $50 million.
  • But I liked the movie.
  • Worth watching if you ask me.
------------------------------------------------------------
Rambo:Last Blood
  •  This movie was watched at PVR Cinemas, Forum mall.
  • I liked the movie
  • The main villain looks like Jon Snow of Game of Thrones if you ask me.
  • The villians did not have to be Mexicans.
  • They could be based from John Rambo own country or Canadians if you ask me.
  • John Rambo's action and response would still have been the same.
  • It is hardcore action and "fully male" movie if you ask me.
  • A+ Macho movie.
  • John Rambo is still ready for more in the end it is shown.
  • Does not have to be Last Blood if you ask me.

Three pillars of democracy

  • We have learnt in school that there are three pillars of democracy
  • The three pillars are judiciary, executive and legislature.
  • That should be the case if healthy democracy is to survive in any country.
  • But what is happening in present BJP RSS ruled India is that there is no difference between those three.
  • All are acting as one to push the BJP RSS agenda through.
  • They are just not bothered as to what happens to ordinary people in the process.
  • Their slogan is #uck democracy.
  • "We will do what we think is right".
  • "We have the Jewish lobby and the State of Israel who back our harcore Hindutva agenda".
  • "We have to just do our things in our land."
  • And at the international level, Jewish lobby will do the work and then International Community will turn a blind eye.
  • Apart from this there is fourth pillar which is the press.
  • Now since many years press is nothing but a stooge to Politicians including BJP RSS no matter how regressive or backward or tribal their agenda.
  • Whatever bad happens they don't give coverage.
  • Whatever good or even if something minuscule good happens they cover it like India has won the world many times over.
  • And cover the news like they are pushing their agenda.
  • It is really like a dark world with no hope we are living in
  • Further if Elections are themselves in doubt what would be the whole objective of the exercise.
  • Looks like more and more never ending cycle of suffering for the people of India.

August 5 2019 vs August 5 1965

  • The subject of this blog is August 5 2019 vs August 5 1965
  • The reason this BJP Govt chose August 5 as the date when Article 370 was abrogated is because that is the same date in the year 1965 when Pakistan sent its "irregulars" to Kashmir for "Operation Gibraltar".
  • Check this below link.
  • The above link consists of Radio address by the then PM Lal Bahadur Shastri who has confirmed the date not once but twice or thrice.
  • The Wikipedia entry also tells as below
  • "On 5 August 1965 between 26,000 and 33,000 Pakistani soldiers crossed the Line of Control dressed as Kashmiri locals headed for various areas within Kashmir. Indian forces, tipped off by the local populace, crossed the cease fire line on 15 August"
  • The Wikipedia article also mentions that at that time, the local Kashmiri populace gave away the locations of the infiltrators. "tipped off by the local populace"
  • Now the Kashmiri people must be regretting the decisions of their forefathers.
  • They must be thinking at the time it would have been better to do otherwise.
  • They got *ucked by India really bad over the decades and even more now with just what happened in August 5, 2019.
  • What has become of India.
  • It has become like a blood sucking vampire surrounding the Kashmiris.
  • Now let it be clear to each one and all, BJP Govt is out for vengeance.
  • Since it happened on August 5, 1965 we will also do it on August 5, 2019.
  • Please remember no matter where you are from or where you are based, if you are reading this remember that the Hindu cannot be trusted.
  • You may trust a person from India but when the Indian person has made his intentions clear like he is a Hindu and stuff he just doesn't care from anything or anyone.
  • If Kashmir is today, tomorrow it would be Afghanistan, day after tomorrow it would be Pakistan or China and subsequent to that it may be Japan, Australia and even US or UK.
  • No country is safe from these Hindu Zionists.
  • My only appeal is that you people use your heads and don't give space to this Hindu Zionists.
  • If we listen to Lal bahadur Shastri address he was not "overtly Hindu" but placed emphasis on all religion and peoples. And that was in 1965.
  • Now in 2019 if such kind of regressive thinking can happen in Indian leadership just think where the world is headed.

Angel has Fallen

  • Watched the movie Angel has Fallen at PVR Cinemas, Forum mall
  • I liked the movie
  • Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Nick nolte and others have done great roles.
  • Basically the movie shows how the Military contractors are doing false flag operations and even willing to kill the President of the United States to blame Russia for war.
  • Worth watching for the action sequences.

Snapshot of Twitter @anupsabat on April 24, 2019

Chowkidar Chor Hai Twitter Account

My Chowkidar Chor Hai Twitter Account
  • Before I deleted Twitter on May 23, 2019 I had the Name of My Account as "Chowkidar Chor Hai"
  • That was in response to BJP-RSS brigade naming themselves as Chowkidar.
  • Since I am opposing them, I had to side with Congress and Rahul Gandhi and named myself as "Chowkidar Chor Hai"
  • But then BJP won a landslide victory and I deleted my Twitter Account.
  • Since Twitter takes 30 days to delete completely, I waited till June end and then restored my ID @anupsabat with a new Account.
  • Initially Twitter thought it was spam account but when I wrote to them they restored it completely.
  • Over the years I have deleted Twitter several times. Initially I joined Twitter in 2010 end (2011 beginning).
  • First I deleted Tweets and then even deleted Account as well.
  • My fear was that someone may takeover my ID and start impersonating me and that was real fear for continuing to stick with Twitter.
  • That operating with a phony ID was happening with top persons (including PM Dr. Manmohan Singh) so why should I think myself immune.
  • So I have restored my account and sticking with it.
  • Now when I saw a dream that I was being shown around WWE campus which wont be anything like reality (http://anupsabat.blogspot.com/2019/08/subject-of-two-dreams.html)
  • Then I wrote a blogpost about it.
  • Anything I have learnt over the years for Twitter is Tweets and even account is not permanent.
  • And so better to write blog which will stay for longer.
  • Now I began to see on Google whether I can get back deleted Tweets.
  • It is not possible to restore deleted tweets.
  • And since the account was already deleted it was even more difficult.
  • But then on Quora.com, I read that we can get some info from Web Archives and so I found the below link.
  • Though I did not get back the Tweet related to the dream I had seen, I faced the reality that I had named myself "Chowkidar Chor hai"
  • Now better to face the past as a man and no hiding from it so I made this blog post.
  • Here is the snapshot from April 24, 2019
  • It seems I had joined in August 2018
  • And My deleted Tweets are as below. These are the basic Tweets without the accompaniments meaning images and videos and links.
  • I got only limited Tweets and not all the Tweets.
  • #ConstitutionofIndia is under threat. #Constitution #Elections #Elections2019 #Election2019 #GeneralElections #GeneralElections2019
  • Better sense would have prevailed if #Modi #BJP would have gone closer to #China and #Russia while solving existing problems with #Pakistan rather than going all out to woo imperialist #UnitedStates #America. Increasing hostility with #Pakistan & opposing #BeltandRoad is disaster
  • It is like "Dhobi ka kutta na Ghar ka na ghat ka" means "the washerman's dog neither belongs to the river steps nor his home". #India has became like Dhobi ka kutta under #Modi #RSS. They neither belong to United States nor to China nor to Saudi nor Iran nor Israel nor Turkey
  • Trump puts #India in a fix over #Iran sanctions. https://m.timesofindia.com/india/trump-puts-india-in-a-fix-over-iran-oil-and-regional-strategy/amp_articleshow/68995777.cms …
#Modi #BJP Hardline #Hindutva #RSS failure. They considered #Trump #UnitedStates to be India's bitch. Means whatever India wants Trump will do that is why #demonetisation was done when Trump came to power.
  • Reason for #jalianwalabagh #jalianwalabaghmassacre is mentioned here
  • US military #USMilitary promotes #ISIS in #Afgjanistan. Looks like #US #NATO cannot stomach defeat in #Afghanistan. After 18 years of "active involvement" with 'no end in sight' this is a 'low cost investment' by these warmongers to keep themselves involved in the region
  • Computer glitch possible cause of #NotreDame fire. We know renovation work was happening and blaze could have been through short circuit and may have been difficult to be contained.
  • In an attempt to "push its narrative" and 'implicate certain community' #India is pushing itself too hard and painting itself to a corner and I feel that it is like digging a grave for itself. We have heard the saying whoever digs ditch for others himself falls into it.
  • If #India knew that #SriLanka blasts were about to happen it is very likely  that #India #RAW has done it. After the event has happened such information is meaningless. Or this is an attempt by India to come out as "holier than thou" image in an attempt to 'come out on top'.
  • Initiative by #China on #BeltandRoad is laudable. If #PMModi would have openly joined China instead of working with #China in back criticising it at front he would have at least achieved something in his 5 year term in office. Painting China as Boogeyman is harmful for the world
  • I agree with #MrsGandhi on this one. #PMModi calls himself one with #56inch chest and #PradhanSevak but when it comes to criticism he can hardly stomach it. He is not open to anyone. He is autocratic. I will say that is not what people of #India, various #Indian States deserve.
  • और बनाओ #Train18 और #Bullettrain. जब मौजूदा ट्रेनों की हालत ये है तोह बाकी सब को तो जुमला ही कह सकते हैं । #poorvaExpress #trainderailment
  • No Pakistani was killed in #Balakot airstrike. Says #BJP #SushmaSwaraj I am against war and I feel not a single person man woman or child should die due to war. But I have one thing to tell to #BJP why are you drumming up war beats if you are not willing to fight a real war.
  • Islamic position on Tie (continued)
  • Islamic position on Tie.
  • Is it permissible for a Muslim to wear a tie. Contrary to popular belief Muslims not prohibited to wear a tie. It doesn't represent the cross. Origin of tie can be traced to Croatian soldiers in 16th Century. If required for workplace it is permissible.
  • I will speak again and again "Chowkidar chor hai " "Chowkidar chor hai " "Chowkidar chor hai" l I will repeat again and again # ChowkidarChorHai  # ChowkidarChorHai  # ChowkidarChorHai
  • Down with this # Fascist  # BJP Govt.
  • He has come to see if he can find some more good candidates.
  • #SadhviPragya is a terrorist. Anyone  who wants to kill innocent people going about their daily lives is a terrorist. Defination does not change just because the person is #Hindu or #Buddhist or #Sikh.  Also is another #dramaqueen of the BJP. If #Modi #Shah #Yogi were not enough
  • Due to #BJP #India is suffering. Trade and commerce are the lifelines market economy work. Foolish BJP along with their army of #trolls is destroying the soft power of #India. Cross border trade through #LoC is suspended. None should blame #Pakistan if they get close with #China.

Once upon a Time in Hollywood

Subject of two dreams

  • The subject of this blog is "the subject of dreams" or rather the "subject of two dreams that I have watched recently.
Dream 1 - yesterday night
  • Yesterday I saw a dream that I went to WWE Center and Triple H showed me around.
  • And it also had my relatives from Berhampur, Odisha in it.
  • Trust me the Performance Center was unlike what is actually there in Reality.
  • In Reality it may be nothing like what i saw in the dream.
  • In the dream there was a hall and buildings and some sort of function was taking place (that explains my relatives).
  • And people were exercising like they do with the ropes and hanging in the air and doing somersaults in the air while being suspended and so on.
  • There was also a semi-forest area which was being cleared for making new development.
  • But there was also a mountain the middle.
  • Triple H said that mountain also belongs to them and they are not touching the wild life remaining in the mountain.
  • But everything around it was being cleaned to make way for something.
  • Any new construction was not being planned. But that doesn't foreclose that it could not be done in future.
  • Triple H said that while they were cleaning the grounds they came across a variety of species like humanoid kind (probably what was shown in Poor Leno music video), species which were not encountered anywhere in the world.
  • The dream was such intense and felt real.
Dream 2 - about six to eight months back (don't remember exact date)
  • That dream involved a man living on the edge of a cliff with his family.
  • The area kind of like was desert like.
  • A team of assassins came in black SUV's wearing black suits and glasses like Men in Black kind of people.
  • The hero of the dream was Gerard Butler kind of guy.
  • I had written in Twitter about that.
  • There was a woman assassin also.
  • There were senior citizens inside the house and his wife and child who are also involved who got killed by those people.
  • Our hero probably was one of them but now doesn't work for them or with them.
  • Our hero is held at gunpoint while he is kneeling where he says "please don't kill them" such that he is not sure whether anyone can hear him while the camera is zooming into his face.
  • And then there are gunshot sounds and probably the assassins have done their jobs.
  • But they leave our hero alive.
  • As the pain of hero would be too great as he lost his family.
  • It is the pain which would have been lesser if he were dead.
  • But somehow our hero does not think of suicide or taking revenge.
  • He knows like a force of nature this has happened.
  • Probably the hero was "one of them" and then left them and so the revenge like we see in movies. No one can leave them that is what is the message.
  • Trust me it felt like watching a movie and the feeling was such intense like I was the hero.
  • The day I saw the dream I Tweeted about it but then I deleted my Tweets like I do from time to time.
  • So this time I have decided to write a blogpost which is more likely to stay as I delete Tweets quite often.

One Party Rule in India

  • The subject of this blog is "one party rule in India"
  • India is headed towards one party rule by the BJP and RSS like Fascist party of Nazi party.
  • Ever since they seized power in 2014 by using the so called anti corruption movement led by Anna Hazare and team Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Baba Ramdev and so on and so forth their aim has been for a Congress Mukt Bharat and that my friends is the crux of the problem.
  • The Congress Mukt Bharat is only a misnomer actually their aim is opposition mukt Bharat.
  • They want to finish all opposition by hook or by crook and anyone opposing their policies is a target.
  • They use the TV and press which is like that lapdog to just insult and to do character assassination of the people their despise.
  • People in opposition will have no option but to join them like in the case in various States we have seen that just many people including the MLAs from opposition parties just joined the BJP and the opposition cease to exist.
  • They are also targetting visual appealing people who are easily recognisable and powerful people in the opposition and we can see them in such an extent that the opposition is crippled.
  • And then opposition will have no option but to give up and die.
  • Ultimately what will happen is that there will be a single party existing in the country and without that the country will not function.
  • People will forget that there was ever any opposition.
  • For a second forget there is Hindu Muslim issue and think that all people are the same and what matters is only power and nothing.
  • If you visualise a situation like this you will know what is reality which is happening in India in the present Times.
  • Case in point is this related to INX media involving P Chidambaram and how he has been made a villain in this case.
  • He is an important vocal leader and could have been PM also but now BJP and RSS are baying for his blood and that spells doom for all the opposition.
  • It's a master strategy by BJP and RSS to finish off the opposition for good and cling on to the power as much as possible perhaps for decades altogether.
  • That friend spells doom for Indian democracy in fact what is the meaning of India is a country if there is no democracy and there is only single party rule it will be like the Nazi party of Germany Communist Party of China or earlier Soviet Union. How much western countries are free can be debated but we can say it is not good for the country.
  • Ultimately the country will survive no matter what but what about the people ?
  • The people will suffer and that is bad for the country.
  • Nobody will question them. Human rights abuses will increase.
  • People will be killed imprisoned disappeared just for being unlike them or being different to them or not playing by their book.

No land called Hindustan

  • The title of this blog post is no land called Hindustan
  • My friends let it be very clear but there is no land called as Hindustan
  • Official name of the region called as India the country known as India is India or Bharat.
  • I know that RSS and BJP people want to refer India as Hindustan but it is misnomer.
  • A place called as Hindustan existed in history not now.
  • I think we should go by the official name of the country and that is best for the country
  • Hyper ventilating and hyper nationalism and referring India as Hindustan so as to keep people from Central Asia and Middle East in check has no meaning because Hindustan just doesn't exist
  • Pakistan can say Pakistan zindabad and it is valid term but when India says Hindustan Zindabad it has no meaning because Hindustan just does not exist
  • You can say Bharat zindabad or Bharat ki jai or Bharat mata ki jai if you want to refer to your country as motherland.
  • Youu can also refer to individual States like Jay Maharashtra or Jay Karnataka but telling Hindustan Zindabad is just wrong to the point it should not be allowed by any Sane person

PKMKB and Indian hypocrisy at its best

  • The title of this blog post is PKMKB and Indian hypocrisy at its best
  • While India and Indian trolls would like to call themselves and India as the father of Pakistan but when it comes to Slang they use this term quite frequently on Twitter and that is PKMKB which means Pakistan ki M ka B.
  • Basically my whole question is why is in some situation India is the father of Pakistan and not the mother and when you call yourself as father why not mother
  • When you use abusive slang against a particular country and abuse the mother you are abusing the country which claims itself to be the so called father or mother which means you abuse India
  • It is a shame what these people are doing.
  • While they make India as Bharat Mata and make people chant "Bharat mata ki jai" which means long live mother Bharat when it comes to abusing Pakistan they use a slang against mother which means they have no respect for mother, women or even if they think Pakistan's mother is India they are abusing India.
  • It is the worst abuse of India perpetrated by the so-called supporters of India.

Nuclear threat by RSS BJP led India

  • This blog post is titled nuclear threat by RSS BJP led India.
  • Let it be clear that BJP and RSS now have their fingers now on the nuclear trigger.
  • They can deploy nuclear weapons at a very short notice.
  • I will tell one incident which I have experienced it happened in Mumbai in December 2016.
  • While I was going on an Ola share cab another person was in the cab who was going to BARC and he told and he was praising Prime Minister Modi that in the past 2-3 years that Modi is PM he has visited BARC several times maybe a dozen or fifteen times I don't remember the exact times which he told.
  • The person told to me that you will not read about it in the newspaper Modi comes quietly and he goes quietly.
  • Even that person who used to work in BARC did not know or confirm why he was visiting so many times.
  • Later on I realised and I've been thinking about it for several years now it is 2019 so far 3 years I've been thinking about it and now I realise that it could be for miniaturization of nuclear weapons.
  • There was also a news that India is building a nuclear City in Chitradurga District in Karnataka
  • Let us go back to April 2019 when PM Modi was touring India for elections and in the process went to Chitradurga district also.
  • There a big black box was removed from helicopter and two or three people ran carrying it and it was loaded on a black van.
  • Opposition parties haddemanded to know what was in it.
  • Maybe money they thought. As plenty of money is blown away during Indian elections.
  • At that time also I was wondering if it was a miniature nuclear device which came from BARC and was in PM helicopter so that nobody will question it.
  • And it was being offloaded in Chitradurga district to be mass produced in the "nuclear city" nearby to where PMs chopper landed.
  • Maybe Modi visits to BARC as told to me by its employee in December 2016 was related to that.
  • But now when nuclear threat from Rajnath Singh makes everything apparent.
  • Already Indians are spread around the world.
  • And Modi as PM is amply supported by these Indians spread out around the world.
  • Now there may be smuggling of these nuclear devices around the world either in piecemeal form to be assembled later or in one piece.
  • At correct time these may be detonated or used as a coercive tactics to blackmail Western Govt.s into submission and we may see takeover of these countries by Indians.
  • Trust me the threat is real.
  • There are millions of Indians all around the world.
  • And then there are the "travelling Indians" .
  • Smuggling of nuclear devices may be possible.
  • I think Modi and Shah and RSS think tank may be cursing Rajnath Singh as to why he declared such kind of open threat.
  • They work in secret and soon the smuggled miniature nuclear devices may be used as "bargaining chip" by India and Indians to get the best deal from the West.
  • The West needs to be wary of the Indian threat. It is existential threat for all including them.
  • They think they are all powerful but Modi and Shah and RSS will get the better of them.
  • I fear much of the smuggling would already have been done.

Transportation of Cattle and Beef ban

  • This post is dedicated to transportation of Cattle and Beef ban.
  • I will tell you how the BJP and RSS enforce their beef ban politics.
  • Firstly I will tell you about myself.
  • I am from Odisha and a Brahmin.
  • All throughout my life upto 19 years (year 1996) I have eaten only food which was available through my parents or in my surroundings.
  • It was fish, egg, chicken, lamb or goat mutton and chicken.
  • Then I went to Hyderabad for 2 years for my B.Com and there three or four times I had "Kalyani biryani " near Mozamzahi market which was likely beef.
  • Then I went to Mumbai (Bombay) and was there from 1998 till 2002 when I used to have again chicken or egg and only for breakfast I used to have Kheema and pav usually while on the way to office.
  • I never used to go "out of the way" to have the meat of choice.
  • In Mumbai I also used to order pizza from Smoking Joe's "Meat Feast Pizza".
  • Never knew what the meat was in that pizza.
  • Maybe it was beef or maybe it was pork.
  • Only Smoking Joe's used to offer that type of pizza. Now I do not know whether it is still in menu.
  • Dominoes pizza never offered that pizza. All it offered was pepperoni which was not that nice (tasty) apart from chicken which was available of course.
  • Then I went back to Odisha for one year.
  • In between I also went to Chennai for about ten months.
  • In Chennai beef was available, items like beef chilly and beef fried rice was available.
  • In Chennai also available was chilli chicken with bone and it was a welcome departure from what was available in Mumbai.
  • In Mumbai chilli chicken or for that matter chicken manchurian consisted of small piece of chicken which was fried along with a batter to make it a big piece.
  • Hence what was available in Mumbai seemed like peanuts to what was available in Chennai.
  • Everything in Chennai was bigger and better in terms of non veg food.
  • And I never have explored the City much. What was available in my locality on the way I used to have.
  • In some restaurant in Chennai the guy used to bring a large tray with lots of non veg items and then you made your selection. Even blood was available. Blood fry to be precise.
  • In 2004 I came to Bangalore and here beef is available in restaurants and I enjoy having beef here.
  • While I am in Bangalore for the last 15 years in the meantime BJP has captured power in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra Gujarat and so on.
  • And they have banned the beef consumption in those areas.
  • How do they ban beef you may wonder.
  • Well the first step to do it is by banning transportation of cattle.
  • The reason is below.
  • Most of the people who consume beef live in urban areas.
  • In urban areas people cannot rear cattle it is just not possible.
  • They expect cattle to come from the rural areas.
  • When a farmer rears cattle expects to get milk for a few years and then sell the cattle for beef.
  • To the persons to whom the farmer sells his cattle they transport them to urban areas
  • Now now the BJP strategy is to ban the transportation of cattle altogether.
  • Places where the police is weak or inefficient or corrupt they use Gau rakshaks who are nothing but organised gundas goons who can sieze the truck, burn the truck, release the cattle into open fields and even kill the transporter and no questions asked and that is how how the gorakshak function.
  • But where the police is strong and efficient the BJP government uses them to enforce what they use the gorakshak for except it is legal and result is that the cattle transportation stops.
  • So people are unable to get cattle for slaughter and beef becomes unavailable.
  • At the same time they go to the next stage and that is sieze any meat which is available or being transported which they think is suspected beef.
  • Ultimately people will have no option but to to switch to other meats like chicken or mutton.
  • Mutton is quite costly and poor people cannot afford mutton whereas chicken is not quite the same as red meat.
  • Due to religious and emotional reasons people may not prefer pork and hence they will face food starvation because they are used to eating a certain kind of food and it becomes unavailable.
  • It is a tragedy and people cannot but be happy that in certain places where there is no such ban it is continuing to be available.
  • That will reduce their sadness that at least there is a place in this world or universe where there is no such restriction whether that place is Japan., China , Pakistan or Australia. Places which are free of scumbags like BJP. RSS.
  • They may then get satisfaction by watching beef photos or videos on Google, YouTube or Lifestyle channels on TV.

Scary stories to tell in the Dark

  • Watched this movie Scary stories to tell in the Dark in PVR, Forum Mall
  • I liked the movie
  • The oversized scary girl looking like a scary doll in the corridor was scary.
  • And it swallowed one of the character of the movie.
  • And one where the character turns to a scarecrow.
  • Or the other one where spiders comes out the face.
  • It has its scary moments no doubt.

Kashmir and UN Security Council

  • The subject of this blog post is "Kashmir and UN Security Council"
  • Recently the UN Security Council discussed Kashmir in a so called "closed door" meeting.
  • I feel when India has taken unilateral steps like abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A it has probably kept the UN in mind.
  • India knew what will happen in the UN.
  • It had probably kept the worst situation in mind.
  • And frankly I will tell India does not care.
  • UN Security Council may think they are all powerful and stuff the fact is whatever they do will not matter to India.
  • India does not give a fuck or does not give a shit to what the Security Council does.
  • At least not the present BJP-RSS govt.
  • The present BJP-RSS Govt is led my Narendra modi and Amit Shah who are high level "Goondas" or "thugs".
  • They are now the real "Thugs of Hindustan".
  • They have known what is to be ostracized and ignored by the people all over the world.
  • When BJP and RSS orchestrated the Gujarat riots in 2002 they were under sanctions by the World Govts for years altogether.
  • They were not granted permission to even visit the countries of the West. Visas denied and stuff.
  • Now it is "payback time".
  • They are now in full full mood to play.
  • They (Amit Shah and Modi led BJP-RSS Govt) are saying we do the fuck what we want now you do what the fuck what you want to the International Community.
  • They know India is too powerful and strong and cannot be ignored by investors.
  • They will play India all along.
  • India and Indians are working hard to make a dent all over the world and earn goodwill all over the world.
  • And Modi and Shah are using the same goodwill in the world to let loose "reign of terror" on hapless Kashmiris.
  • They know that in the collective din of the Indians around the world the voice of 7 million Kashmris will get drowned.
  • The Kashmir conflict will get drowned in the weight of history.
  • As William Darlymple the historian has said India was captured not by the British Govt but by the East India Company who used its own Army to destroy existing Kingdoms which were hostile to it. And installed puppet Govts.
  • We have all read history. All this happened before the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857 when the British Crown actually took over the region called as India.
  • Now it is upto the International community to decide what it wants to do.
  • Does it want to appease the Indian Govt led by BJP-RSS which wants to impose itself on the world.
  • Remember now it is Kashmir, tomorrow it can be Pakistan and day after tomorrow it could be Sydney or Washington or London or Beijing or Riyadh who could be facing existential threat.
  • Hindu nationalist party just does not care if existing structures and configurations of the world are disrupted.
  • They have already kept the worst situation in mind.
  • Remember what the Defence Minister Rajnath Sing said regarding the nuclear weapons.
  • They can use nuclear weapons against anyone now and that is their outlook in the world.
  • They just don't care. They will just bulldoze their way through.
  • Indians goodwill is there and they using it as shield.

New Kashmir Policy is Disaster

  • New Kashmir Policy is Disaster is the subject of the blog.
  • The policy was announced on Monday August 5, 2019.
  • I will say the blueprint must have been provided by Israel (Isra-Hell).
  • If BJP really wanted to solve Kashmir policy, they should have resolved with Pakistan first.
  • And the only way to resolve would be to make the LoC as the International border.
  • After making Loc as International Border, India could have internally organised the border.
  • The answer is not bifurcation but trifurcation.
  • If BJP wanted to do something remarkable and solve the issue, they should have trifurcated the state into Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
  • Now they have bifurcated the state into Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh which is just wrong.
  • Why take away Ladakh from J&K state and not involve Pakistan and China in the process.
  • It should be understood that a portion of Ladakh is with China.
  • Maybe that is what the BJP wanted to do, they wanted to separate the China and Pakistan theatre of Kashmir.
  • That is just wrong and will backfire.
  • Because Pakistan and China are "iron brothers". And attempt to polarise them will not work.
  • And I am 100% sure that people of Jammu will not like this "partial solution".
  • The "final solution" would have been to separate Jammu and Kashmir as well.
  • So people of Jammu would have "felt free" from Kashmir politics.
  • And Jammu state would have functioned like Haryana or Punjab or Himachal Pradesh.
  • Also the borders would have become apparent.
  • Indian people would not have chased this mirage of capturing back Aksai Chin, PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan.
  • The borders between Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir would have become so abundantly clear that it would have shut everyone (Right Wing, Extremists, Left Wing, Liberals, other states of India) forever.
  • But now the divided J&K will continue be a thorn for India forever.
  • People of Jammu will never feel "free".
  • The people of Kashmir valley will feel choked as their access to India and even a portion of their state (portion of Ladakh) will be curtailed.
  • People of Ladakh will face the real influx of Indians as they have become an Union Territory without Legislature. Remember they are 50,000 sq km state with very less population.
  • So there will be direct rule of Center.
  • People of Jammu and Kashmir will be Union territory like Puducherry or Delhi with a legislature.
  • That does not solve the issue and that is my whole point.
  • They should have made Jammu as full fledged state and Kashmir and Ladakh Union territory with or without legislature.
  • So Kashmir politicians would have limited to Kashmir valley.
  • And Jammu politicians would have got chance to be like any other state of India.
  • Both India controlled Jammu and Kashmir are more than 20000 to 25000 sq kms area each.
  • Now the bifurcated Jammu and Kashmir area will remain in contoversy for a long time to come.
  • Nothing is solved.
  • Indians will be tied to a myth of capturing PoK and Gilgit-baltistan which is not possible without a devastating war which will result in millions of lives getting extinguished on both sides.
  • Even if people think Kashmir is the "head of India" which cannot be divided, BJP has precisely done just that.
  • They have split the head of India and it is wrong. Hope the right witng supporters of BJP realise this.
  • Peopel should realise that BJP is not only the enemy of Kashmiris but also is the enemy of the nation and their own supporters as well
  • Either solve it in full (which would have involved trifurcation and China and Pakistan) or maintain the status quo (like it was pre August 5th).
  • Article 370 was a fig leaf which was protecting the region of Jammu and Kashmir and now BJP has shown its naked force of aggression.

Hobbs and Shaw, Judgemental Hai Kya

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hobbs and Shaw
  • This movie was watched at PVR Forum Mall
  • I liked the movie.
  • The special effects and action sequences are just amazing.
  • This is hard core action movie.
  • But there are also comedy elements in the movie especially when Hobbs and Shaw are discussing between themselves.
  • Roman Reigns is also in the movie.
  • I feel the Uso's (brothers) should also have been in the movie.
  • That would have given the complete good "WWE feel".
  • Maybe I have not seen the earlier prequel but I could not get who was controlling the Brixton guy.
  • But anyhow, this movie is worth watching.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Judgemental Hai Kya
  • This movie was watched at PVR Vega City Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Rajkumar has taken  risk by portraying a villainous character.
  • Worth watching if you ask me.
  • Only the reality is revealed in the last five minutes.

The Lion King, Annabelle Comes Home

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line.
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Lion King
  • This 3D movie was watched at Lakshmi theatre.
  • I must say I have never seen a movie like this.
  • The animals feel so real. They do not feel like cartoons like the original Lion King movie.
  • I mean how could they even make something like this.
  • This movie is definitely a "Wonder of the world" and deserves to be the greatest grosser of all time.
  • My humble opinion of course. Then we may think why Avatar does not deserve it or Titanic and so on.
  • In the end we can say the movie will find its place.
  • All I want to say the movie deserves all the accolades and more.
  • Looking back we can say the movie "Bahubali" must have been inspired by this Lion King movie.
  • The core story is similar.
  • The movie though based on animal story is very much relevant for human beings.
  • Also for the environment. How reckless plunder of resources can make species go extinct and leave environment devastated.
  • A balance is there in nature and that has to be maintained that is shown in the movie.
  • Movie also shows if we get involved in wrong things for selfish interest the same would bring our downfall like it happened to the villain in the movie.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Annabelle Comes Home
  • This movie was watched at PVR Forum Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The movie has got its scary moments.
  • But no one dies the movie and that is good for the "feel good" factor.
  • I remember earlier horror movies from 1970's and 80's and 90's had a blot of blood and gore.
  • Now I guess they scare a bit and then leave us with warm and fuzzy feeling.
  • Like in the movie towards the end they show inspite of all evil things in the Warren room for collectibles in the basement, they could still have birthday party upstairs.
  • Thus this movie shows it is possible for evil to exist beside us if it is "contained" and no harm in that.
  • We do not need to destroy evil, just keep it contained and good and evil can co-exist. That is shown in the movie.

Malaal, Spiderman Far from home, Super 30

Watched three movies as mentioned in the subject line.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Malaal
  • Watched this movie at PVR Forum Mall
  • I liked the movie.
  • If you watch the trailer you may not feel like watching the movie and feel booking a ticket was a mistake.
  • But if you watch the movie you feel good and guess the movie is worth watching.
  • They have captured late 90's and early 2000's Mumbai quite well in the movie.
  • And then in present time when the heroine is no longer there and hero is successful makes it worth watching.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Spiderman Far from home
  • Watched the movie at Lakshmi theatre, Tavarakere.
  • I liked the movie.
  • How from deep space the villian turns out to be an ordinary guy sitting across the table is shown.
  • But Starc Industries are shown to have technology not existing in the world at least I do not know that such drones are based in satellites and will not burn on reentry is even possible.
  • Movie is okay to be watched once without any problem.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Super 30
  • Watched this movie at Lakshmi theatre, Tavarakere.
  • I liked the movie.
  • Hritik Roshan has played a good role.
  • His brother played by Nandish Singh Sandhu has also done good role.
  • So have Aditya Srivastava who portrays Inspector Abhijeet in CID series and Pankaj Tripathi who was in Maazi movie have also done great acting.
  • Worth watching according to me.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Game of Thrones Documentary

  • Watched Game of Thrones Documentary on Hotstar
  • This shows how the last season was shot.
  • The studios in Northern Ireland were the home the Game of Thrones.
  • Maybe this documentary was released in haste because people were not happy with the way GoT turned out and demanded it be "re-shot".
  • When we see this documentary we realise how difficult it must have been to shoot an episode like Game of Thrones.
  • It is just not possible to be "re shot".
  • All the people making and involved the series are just human.
  • As human beings their ultimate desire is for "closure".
  • Humans tend to get tired and they want an "end to something they started".
  • Just because people were not happy does not mean it needs to be redone.
  • Let us think about the silent majority.
  • For them they would accept things as they happen.
  • That becomes the reality for them.
  • Similarly for Game of Thrones.
  • Adjust to it. Drink it in. That is just the way the makers made it.
  • If you have an active imagination watch something else.
  • Or read a book or write your own book.
  • If possible make your own series.
  • Just don't criticise the makers of something like Game of Thrones.

Khamoshi, Article 15

Watched the movies as mentioned in the subject line.
----------------------------------------------------------
Khamoshi
  • This movie was watched at PVR Forum Mall.
  • PrabhuDeva plays very good role as a cold blooded killer.
  • People die left right and center.
  • But the heroine survives and I guess that is what matters in a movie, the hero and heroine should survive.
----------------------------------------------------------
Article 15
  • This movie was watched at PVR Forum mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • It shows "New India" or rather "New UP".
  • Credits in the movie thank UP CM Yogi Adityanath and not CM Akhilesh Yadav like in earlier movies based out of UP.
  • So there is bound to be change in the tone of movie. No "rosy picture" anymore.
  • Here Dalits get beaten.
  • Also Dalits have been shown as stubborn where they dump garbage on roads and stuff as a form of resistance.
  • In short they have not been painted as the good guys.
  • There girls are killed and fathers framed.
  • The perpetrators of Gang rape who happened to be upper castes are killed.
  •  But high chance if they would not have been killed they would have got away scot-free.
  • One constable who was involved in gang rape killed himself (highly unlikely because his sister was still alive).
  • The super leader of Upper castes gets elected as MLA or MP not sure because he wants to bring about Dalit upper caste unity.
  • The Dalit leader is killed in encounter though it is not shown what acts of violence he did. Only advocated peaceful resistance.
  • This "New India" where leaders of opposition gets killed while the majority party gets elected is shown openly which is condemn-able.
  • UP is India's largest state with almost 22 crores population as much as next two Indian states combined (Maharashtra and Bihar) or as much as Pakistan.
  • Thus it matters what happens there will reverberate across the country.
  • I will appeal that such big states can be divided into smaller states for better governance.
----------------------------------------------------------

Kabir Singh

Watched the movie as mentioned in the subject line.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Kabir Singh
  • This movie was watched at PVR Forum Mall
  • I liked the movie.
  • But movie has some flaws.
  • A person who never had drugs cannot descend into such madness in one night.
  • He is a topper Doctor student.
  • A drug addict and alcoholic cannot be such a good surgeon and perform hundreds of surgeries in the course of eight months.
  • Nine months or eight months is a short time according to me. Maybe if the window was 5 years it would have been believable.
  • I think they should have increased the time schedule.
  • We have seen movie like that like "Jab We Met" where the hero meets the heroine after 5 years and then manages to "seize her".
  • Maybe since the heroine was to get married immediately they reduced the "time table".
  • So we can say in India everything is linked to the marriage or the "institution of marriage"
  • Also it is told that he has had hundreds of intercourses with this girlfriend and he never gets her pregnant.
  • This I thought about in the movie itself and then they show that the girl is pregnant and later it is disclosed that the child is his.
  • I mean hundreds of time they did but she did not get pregnant?
  • And how does he find her. When he is driving around and sees her sitting in a park.
  • I mean highly likely someone will find some one like that.
  • It is like 1 in a million chance if not 1 in a billion. I mean what are the chances a that you drive in a random way and happen to spot your girlfriend from some distance away in a park from your bike sitting in a pregnant state.
  • But is okay because in movie wild things do happen.
  • Also the Doctor becomes a characterless person in nine months time.
  • Here also they should have increased the time table.
  • It is highly unlikely that one will descend so much down in eight months.
  • And then he loses his job and is suspended to reform himself.
  • He gets second chance and then he meets his ex girlfriend.
  • Is it even possible.
  • One who has descended so much into the darkness cannot reform himself highly unlikely.
  • Maybe that Director wants to tell you even the worst character can become good.
  • Maybe this is the India that we know off or maybe the world.
  • Some say Jesus Christ had come to India for many years (the hidden years) and where he got "his knowledge" and then went back to Palestine to "face the music" and thus began the religion of Christianity that we know of and hold dear.
  • Maybe life is all about giving these "second chances"
  • As long there is life there is hope.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Bharat, The Tashkent Files

Watched two movies as mentioned in the subject line.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Bharat
  • This movie was watched at PVR Forum Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The mines scene in the movie is just unbelieavable.
  • I mean I understand during oil wells and gas wells you do not need to descend inside a mine.
  • Maybe it is required during coal mine and diamond and other metals and minerals.
  • Maybe what Salman Khan wanted to shoot would have been in a coal mine like what exists in Jharkhand and Bihar stuff films like "Kaala Pathar" were made off.
  • But it would be difficult and prove more expensive and challenging and so maybe he took the easy way out and shot the movie in Middle East giving oil as a reference.
  • In the last scene while Salman's shop is being destroyed we find that it is still full of goods.
  • Maybe he should have removed the groceries before destroying the shop.
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Tashkent Files
  • This movie was watched at PVR Vega City.
  • This is a 3 hour long propaganda movie.
  • It fits into the category of movies like
    • Uri
    • PM Narendra Modi
    • The Least of These
    • Haseena Parkar
    • Indu Sarkar
    • The Accidental Prime Minister, etc. movies which have been made to absolve the Sangh parivaar of any wrongs and criticise the Congress Party, Pakistan, Christians, Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi and the opposition and paint them as the bad guys.
  • I will say that this movie shows that how for money Indira Gandhi sold Indian interests to USSR.
  • It does not criticise Jawaharlal Nehru but wants Shastri to be PM succeeding Nehru which did not happen.
  • I will say it is not simple to just put everything in terms of money.
  • There is also ideology.
  • India was proponent of Non Aligned Movement (NAM) and the film makes no mention of that.
  • Pakistan was an outpost of NATO/US to tap into the Soviet Union.
  • And Bangladesh was outcome of Soviet project of involvement in dismemberment of East Pakistan from West Pakistan.
  • India and Indira Gandhi played a very big part in the project.
  • And even decades after Soviet Union fell, Communists still ruled over West bengal and Tripura which was like a de-facto base for the "liberation of East Pakistan"
  • So friends in the RSS please do not think that US is a very holy country and Soviet union is all villian.
  • We should not sacrifice what is right just to be friends with US or any other country.
  • Please do not forget that imperialsism had to be got rid of first.
  • India got independence from Imperialists in 1947, other countries in Asia and Africa it was still ongoing affair.
  • Do not forget that at that time Vietnam war was still raging where an innocent country was subject to brutal war from all sides.
  • Just think about it. What happened was right. Accept it.
  • You cannot rewrite history by twisting it.
  • Rather you people have been given mandate do something good for future. Do not spoil it by propaganda.

Avengers Endgame, Alladin, PM Narendra Modi, De De Pyar De

Watched four movies as mentioned in teh subject line.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Avengers Endgame
  • This movie was watched at Cinepolis Orion East Mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • So many superheroes come back to life and Thanos is just ruined in the movie.
  • It all depends on time travel and Captain Marvel.
  • Both together save the day.
  • And Captain America places the infinity stones "where they were" and goes on to "lead his life" and reaches the exact spot where the time travel thing happened after the Endgame war is over in his old age.
  • Movie is okay to be watched without any problems.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Alladin
  • This movie was watched at Lakshmi theatre, Tavarakere.
  • Too good movie and highly recommended.
  • It definitely felt like a very "British" movie with Guy Ritchie as director.
  • And Will Smith had come to India and taken clues about the Bollywood song and dance routines.
  • We can say the movie also felt 50% Indian or 50% Rajasthani to be precise.
  • Movie is definitely too good.
  • The Genie is the most powerful thing in the universe and the villian turns to a genie in the movie.
  • There can be sequel if the producers decide.
-------------------------------------------------------------
PM Narendra Modi
  • This movie was seen at PVR, Forum Mall, Koramangala.
  • I liked the movie.
  • I will say Vivek Oberoi has done too good role.
  • I feel he overshadows the actual PM in certain scenes.
  • Since he portrays a fictional character he can be perfect.
  • As we know our PM in reality is not that perfect and he is inconsistent. He hits in all corners. And speaks different things in different times based on situation.
  • But in movie the PM Narendra Modi character is perfect and the hero does a perfect role.
-------------------------------------------------------------
De De Pyar De
  • This movie was watched at PVR, Forum mall.
  • I liked the movie.
  • It shows affair between an older man and younger woman.
  • I felt only thing missing was actual sex scenes and that would have made the movie perfect.
  • Since that can't be shown on the screen we have to adjust and "leave it to imagination".
  • Movie can be seen once without any problems.
  • Javed Jaffrey also had played a role in one movie as elder man in love with two women.
  • And Ajay Devgn also played one in another multi starrer in which Emran hashmi was there.
  • I guess the movie felt like we had seen bits of it earlier.

Game of Thrones Concluding Season

  • I watched the Game of Thrones Concluding Season on Hotstar.
  • I guess all the people including the actors and makers were successful in hiding the fact the Kings Landing would get destroyed completely.
  • That was great by them.
  • There was no leakage of the plot before hand.
  • People expected little damage but never expected complete destruction like it happened in Episode 5 of Season 8.
  • I liked the Episode 5 anyways. It was the most logical episode according to me. People who were equating Kings Landing with London over the years would have been the ones most disappointed with the episode.
  • What we would expect Daenerys would be doing. Not like garlanding each and every people of Kings Landing.
  • She was there to destroy. And that was she did.
  • Maybe if the other dragon was alive, Jon Snow could have commandeered the dragon and stopped Daenerys in her tracks. We just don't know. Euron Greyjoy took the other dragon out in Episode 4.
  • Also Episode 3 was a little heart breaking I mean it is that easy to get rid of the Army of the Dead.
  • Just kill their leader The Night King and the entire Army crumbles.
  • I mean if it that simple then the Night King and his Army never deserved to win anyway.
  • Also they were dead anyway.
  • So the dead should stay dead and the world is better with that.
  • The world has to deal with the living anyway.
  • But what about Jon Snow.
  • He was dead anyway and brought back to life.
  • So the rule applicable to others is not applicable to Jon Snow.
  • Also, in the last episode Jon Snow bended his knee to Bran is simply unbelievable and unacceptable. Bran is after all his kid brother. That was a disappointment.
  • And when North becomes independent and does not need to bend the knee to Bran the Ruler of Six kingdoms why should Jon Snow bend the knee when he stays beyond the North at the Nights Watch. It is absurd.
  • Arya goes on chasing to a place where there are no maps.
  • And we can expect a genocide will follow and make existing civilisation extinct like it happened following Christopher Columbus journey to the Americas.
  • Arya would be no hero in that case. Only a "colonialist" or "imperialist".
  • Also Jon Snow so simply could murder Daenerys in last episode is unbelievable.
  • I mean such a powerful queen had no bodyguards. It is laughable.
  • Jon Snow was not frisked when he went to meet the queen. That is also unbelievable.
  • Such a powerful queen faced threat of assassination every step of her way. I mean where was Greyworm and his guards entourage.

Stree

  • Watched the above movie Stree on Hotstar.
  • I liked the movie,.
  • But I felt that movie has several loose ends which they have not covered.
  • Like how seamlessly the heroine Shradha Kapoor merges with the Stree character.
  • I mean how is it even possible.
  • Are there two Strees or they are oen and the same.
  • And where does she go rest of the year.
  • And when the Stree abducts the men how come they returned back unharmed.
  • In that case where they went when they got abducted.
  • I guess if you leave your brain outside the cinema hall and watch then it is okay.

Student of the year 2

  • Watched the above movie Student of the year 2 at Inox Cinemas.
  • I liked the movie.
  • The guy Aditya Seal is too good. Must I say he is hero material.
  • And we all know Tiger Shroff.
  • The fact that Aditya Seal can challenge Tiger Shroff in the movie at least is pretty good and does a good job.
  • The ladies also have done tremendous job.
  • Movie is worth watching definitely.

Kalank

  • Watched the above movie Kalank today at Lakshmi theatre, Tavarakere
  • I will say the movie is great.
  • It is sheer propaganda by few people who are discrediting the movie.
  • This movie can be compared to "Titanic"
  • Titanic was a long movie but this movie is not that long.
  • Maybe it is 2 hours forty minutes if we exclude the end credits.
  • Thsi movie is a love story par excellence.
  • This movie shows "utopia".
  • Means it shows a mythical world which has ceased to exist.
  • Things cannot go back to the way they were
  • And just like we see in Titanic that after death the souls get united in the same state as they were in long past this movie also shows similar kind of ending.
  • Alia Bhatt character also asks a question to the audience whether the "love" that she did was "true love" or "Kalank" means a black spot or flaw.
  • I will say that it is true love.
  • And that is why the souls get united after death.
  • I will say Kunal Khemu has done a great role. He deserves more roles in movies.
  • He is a talented guy and people will miss if he is not acting actively.
  • Varun Dhavan, Madhuri, Alia and Kiara Advani have also done great roles.
  • Aditya Roy Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt have subdued role maybe because that is what was required of them.
  • I will give 5 stars to the movie.
  • It is a shame to compare it with Thugs of Hindustan which was a really bad movie.
  • Also we can't compare with Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies which appear like the movies from the "Middle Ages".
  • This movie captures the "modern age".
  • It is a challenge from me that movie made on the same theme and story set in pre-partition India in Lahore cannot be made better than this.
  • But I have watched Earth movie starring Aamir Khan and it was also as good. That movie felt real. That was also on the same subject.
  • This movie is built on a grand stage and is a love story and certainly we cannot compare it with Earth.
  • But some common elements are there nevertheless.
  • Movie is definitely worth watching and I am not doing propaganda.

Civil War : A Ken Burns Documentary movie

  • Watched the nine part episode above series Civil War : A Ken Burns Documentary movie on Netflix.
  • Actually Netflix at Rs 500 per month is expensive for me.
  • And when I read that just only mobile plan at 250 Rupees per month is being offered I took the membership.
  • And First thing I began to watch was Civil War Documentary.
  • I had watched a little bit of the first episode earlier when I was member and then my membership expired. So I resumed watching with the 250 rupees membership.
  • Wikipedia link is as below:
  • I feel my blog post will not suffice as to what I have seen and understood.
  • I feel just like the Vietnam War Documentary and Second World War Documentary by Ken Burns this is also a masterpiece.
  • This should be made mandatory for every Candidate of President of United States including the President Elect to watch just like the Vietnam War.
  • This documentary basically shows how the South which rose up as rebellion was doomed to fail.
  • It shows how Abraham Lincoln came as Prophet Abraham from obscurity and emancipated the slave.
  • Slavery got banned but freedom is still elusive.
  • Freedom means all men are equal is still being chased by people in United States and around the world.
  • The South fought the devastating war and their forces just kept getting expended and they could not get replaced ultimately.
  • There were many desertions towards the end.
  • Some fled to West and some to North.
  • Entire South cites were left in ruins. Especially when William Tecumseh Sherman led his army through Atlanta, South Carolina and North Carolina.
  • When the Army of General Lee surrendered to General Ulysses S Grant at Appomattox the war was over.
  • And few days after the surrender Abraham Lincoln got assassinated and the victory seemed hollow to the entire nation.
  • The funeral of Abraham Lincoln stretched for one month and his body was taken throughout the country for the tens of thousands of people to pay their respects.
  • When war began in 1861, South had too much dreams.
  • But a year or two into the war the price they paid was so great that even if they would have won it would have felt like "Pyrrhic Victory'. No value of victory with such heavy price.
  • South was fighting to build another country in south of present United States and they were planning to expand their empire to further South like Mexico, Central America and South America.
  • But that dream just melted away.
  • In the last episode of the series they began showing what happened to the different characters in war. Like who ended where and the stuff is real not like in movies where the characters are usually fictional.
  • Worth watching.
  • The commentary by Shelby Foote, Ed Bearss and Barbara Fields among others is just amazing.
  • 670 thousand people (Americans) died in four years of the war.
  • This was the War that made United States what it is.
  • Shelby Foote has said several sentences which are noteworthy, three I will reproduce below :
    • Before the war people had the habit of telling "United States are.." After the war it is always "United States is..."
    • The reason for casualties being so high was because the weapons used were new and modern and people were unprepared.
    • Nowadays Americans tell that they have never lost a war. But a big part of America which was the Confederate States or South lost and lost heavily. They just melted away.
  • There were several skirmishes in 20000 people died on average.
  • The Battle of Gettysburg was the turning point of the war.
  • The Documentary also shows very early in the war few Generals of the North did not take action inspite of having the forces else the war might have ended sooner.
  • The soundtrack is also too good. They show in End Credits and I will reproduce below:
    • Ashokan farewell by Jay Ungar
    • We are climbing Jacob's Ladder by Bernie Johnson Reagon
    • Battle Hymn of the Republic By the Sanctuary Choir
    • The below by Fredrick Fennell:
      • Hail to the Chief
      • Listen to the Mocking Bird
      • Palmyra Schottishe
      • Hail Columbia
      • Freischutz Quickstep
      • Parade
      • Dixie
      • Bonnie Blue Flag
      • Luto Quickstep
      • Cheer Boys Cheer
      • Watltz No 19
      • Maryland My Maryland
    • Dixie by Bobbie Horton
    • The Star Spangled Banner By United States Marine Band
    • Funeral March No.1 & Battle Hymn Quickstep by The heritage Americana Bass Band (conductor Robert Garafalo)
    • When Johny Comes Marching Again
  • If you can go through teh above soundtrack sometime and if possible watch the series as well.
