Laxmii

• Watched this movie "Laxmii" on Hotstar.
• Actually my Hotstar 1 year subscription is expiring on February 3, 2021.
• I do not know if I would be renewing again.
• So I making a point to watch a few movies before it expires.
• I still have yet to watch the last Season of American Horror Story (1984).
• It may not be possible now but if I renew I can watch it.
• Coming back to the movie "Laxmii" which was going to be titled as Laxmii Bomb but they changed the movie before release.
• The reason may not be respect to Laxmi Goddess but respect for the transgender community.
• As Laxmii in the movie is the story of a transgender who gets killed in the movie and comes to possess the body of Asif portrayed by Akshay Kumar.
• I will say there is no point criticising the movie.
• The movie shows Indian culture and Indian mentality in its raw form.
• That is who we Indians are.
• That is reality.
• If you cannot accept it then it is a problem.
• The movie is not the problem.
• Movie is definitely worth watching once.
