The BJP has come out with its manifesto and I feel the worst thing is the Ban of Cow Slaughter.
I feel that people should have the freedom to decide what they want to eat.

Also, even vegetarians are killing plants to feed themselves. Tell me is that not a sin. We also do not know if plants feel any pain or not. For all we know plants could be feeling pain when they are being cut and boiled.
If that is true than killing plants is even a greater sin than killing animals as plants are unable to protest 'acts of violence' against them.
They take the act of killing silently as they are thrashed around and husked, de-husked, processed, bagged, refrigerated and sold.
Why is no beef product available in McDonalds or in Malls or in Chinese restaurants in India. I feel this is denial of "Right to Food" or Right to Eat what we like. Do Chinese people not eat beef?
World over we can know that McDonalds or Pizza Hut or Chinese restaurants would be serving beef dishes. Why deny the choice to Indian people. Tell me will Indian people never get the chance to eat these items in posh malls. They will have to suffice with Chicken. Okay make Chicken available along with others. Let people decide what they want to eat.
In Bangalore, I find that only place where we can have beef is in Muslim areas and their restaurants. In any other restaurant it is simply not available. Why is it like that. I my earlier post above, I have outlined as to how the Christian community in India is being forced to consume pork which is one of the 'uncleanest of the animals'. This is only to avoid any friction with the majority Hindus.
And BJP if it comes to power will definitely want to force its Hindutva based agenda on the entire country. Like it has outlawed cow slaughter in majority of states where it came to power, it will do or try to do the same thing if it wins at national level. Tell me rather then outlawing it, one should regulate it and permit it to be done in a hygienic manner so that people are able to exercise their right to food or right to eat what they want.
