Twitter Use Dilemma

I have decided to use Twitter very less. I will keep the account but will post less. I will outline few points with Twitter as below:
  • Initially Twitter I began to use in 2011 when I was posting latest and last movie watched.
  • Then I deleted the Tweets in 2012 and then the account.
  • After that the series of deleting Twitter and reopening it is continuing till 2016.
  • In April 2016 to access porn images, I opened Twitter.
  • Then I realised there are bigger issues in the world than porn and those deal with people.
  • People rights get trampled over daily.
  • Demonisation of Islam is another issue.
  • Denying people food rights like beef and hitting where it hurts i.e. stomach also is there.
  • Beef affects not only food but also livelihood by denying butchers and leather and its transport.
  • Then the theatrics of the leaders, Modi, Irani, Swaraj, Naidu to name a few also exist.
  • So porn takes a backseat and using Twitter for porn simply is pre-eliminated.
  • Now what do I do with the account if I do not Tweet?
  • Will I delete the Twitter or just the Tweets.
  • All those leave me very confused.
  • Also I am afraid that if I post against someone I may face consequences in real life.
  • I faced online abuse from a BJPTard when I posted against the Govt's new move to grant citizenship to selected few from Pakistan Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
  • I blocked the account and then realise it is just not me. Why will I use Twitter if I am scared of someone?
  • I could have kept my Tweets hidden from the start. But the reason we open Twitter is to "broadcast our views". If we protect our Tweets than what use is Twitter anyways.
  • I reported abuse to Twitter but believe it or not within 2 minutes they got back to me telling that it is all good and they could not find anything wrong with the user.
  • But then the main issue is what now?
  • Best is to leave reading Twitter but keep the account. Keep it but don't use it.
  • Also bigger forces are at play in the world.
  • We have to realise or believe that the forces of good will prevail and they will take care of the "Oppressed" and the power abusers.
  • It is beyond the "means of just one man" to fix the society.
  • The society needs to have the checks and balances.
  • Also the Twitter owners and users from all around the world would be laughing aloud after seeing what we Indians have been doing among ourselves.
